Kozai splashed down through the canopy of the great forest that was rumored to hide Konohagakure no Sato. He sensed several extremely powerful signatures on the edge of his sensory that he dared not go near. These were even more powerful than.... well, than anything he had sensed before. He landed on the forest floor, and looked around. It was pretty shady area, with the coverage from the trees being pretty good. Damn.... what a place. It felt pretty natural too, so Kozai thought he would take a short walk around. There was some natural wildlife around, some toads and deer and whatnot. He sat down on a log and proceeded to think. He needed to get some training in on the fly, but ever since he had gotten Fuyu Hanshu, his ability to freeze water had disappeared. He was sure that having learned this power, he would be able to freeze water.... but he hadn't. He was only able to cool his own body down, and that in itself was depressing. In frustration, he picked up a harmless frog, and cooled his own skin, killing the frog by clenching it in his ice-cold palms. He wanted his power back! Well, maybe if he stressed his chakra system some more, he would be able to do more than just this.
He got up and lifted his arms. The water rose out of the ground and began to form into shapes. The shapes were none other than musical instruments, but they were silent. Of course, not being solid, they could produce no sound. Nevertheless, Kozai picked up a straight stick from the ground and tapped it on a nearby log. All the instruments moved, getting into ready position. Kozai took a deep breath, concentrating on the water. He then raised his baton and.... the silent orchestra began to play. Kozai waved and moved his arms, while the music played out in his head. "BUM ba da ba DUM ba da..... " The strings roared forth with almost angry force.... in his mind. In the actual forest, there were absolutely silent.
He switched positions, and in his mind, the brass and woodwins would pour forth with great sound, but only in his mind. In the forest, nothing would happen, but the "brass and woodwin sections" would move and pulsate. In the meantime, the percussion section would boom forth, filling the area of his brain with a BOOM, BOOM.
Kozai was in ecstasy. "Now, the fugue! DO IT, DO IT AGAIN! AGAIN! PLAY ME A FUGUE!" The instruments rolled out variation after variation with the same tone and base pattern, creating the piece of music known as the fugue. "YES, YES, that's it! Now, brass, strings, FINISH IT!" The piece entered the finale and roared to a brilliant end. At that point, the instruments decayed and splashed to the ground. He panted, then held up a hand. He was sweating slightly, he was someone out of shape. He lifted up a drop of water... and then froze it. He had his power back.
