Kenshin ascends

Kenshin would walk through the doors of the academy, he was proud and prepared to gain his shinobi title of genin on this day. He had absolutely no doubt within himself and was fully prepared for any challenge he could face. Walking to the back of the room he would sit down at the desk in the right corner to watch the other students and wait for his name to be called out of the swelling mass of children that inhabited the room. He was going to earn his stripes as a shinobi and nothing would stand in his way, no matter what it was.

The proctor of todays exam, the long black haired Tozai Hiraga walked into the room after being assigned to do the genin exams for the new batch of ninja trying to graduate from the academy. Sitting behind the desk he would look around to the ones that have already completed their exam and handed them the headbands and sent them on their way. Picking up the small clipboard to his left, he would clear his throat and speak," Kenshin...Uchiha, it is your turn for your exam," once the boy had came in he would quickly follow up," Please perform the Henge no Jutsu and the Bushin no Jutsu, there is no time limit and good luck," nodding to her as he sat the clipboard down.

Kenshin would slowly look towards the front of the class where the instructor had prompted him to begin his exam. Standing from his chair in the back of the room he brought his right hand over top his left shoulder, gripping the black cloak which hanged upon his shoulders he would slowly slide it from his body. Extending his right arm to its full length he would drop the cloak in the empty chair at his side and put his hands deep into his pockets. Walking down the rather large number of stairs to the front of the class he would stand there, his eyes seemed cold, if not devoid of all feeling. He wore his usual attire, which consisted of a black high collared shirt and white bandages wrapped around his forearms. His white pants seemed to shine somewhat in the sun light that reached in through the large windows at the side of the room and his black sandals showed the tips of his bare feet.

He stood at the head of the classroom for a few moments, simply listening to the other students in the room have their unimportant conversations, waiting for them to quiet down before he began. Bringing both hands from his white pants pockets he formed a single hand seal before focusing his chakra. It did not take much time or effort from him but within a split second a large cloud of smoke erupted from his left and right. This made the fact he was using the Bunshin no jutsu first extremely obvious to all in the room. The true question was, of what quality would these clones be of Kenshin?

As the smoke cleared, two perfect clones of Kenshin stood at his sides with arms folded across their rather large and muscular chests. They wore the exact same clothes as he did, had the same looks of seriousness upon their faces and to any who had not seen this jutsu preformed infront of them before, it would likely be like that of a horror film. With a sigh he would release the jutsu after the proctor had a moment to check over the clones for detail if he so wished, although it would be pointless due to the fact he knew himself so amazingly well that it was near impossible for him to not have mastered this jutsu long ago. The jutsu had used very little chakra as well from his current reserves, making the use of the jutsu quite easy for his body. Without even so much as a bead of sweat on his forehead, he would continue on wards with his exam.

Looking the proctor over very closely he would form the next hand seal for the Henge no jutsu. Focusing his chakra within his body another eruption of smoke would envelope his large frame, obscuring him from view completely. As it cleared, Kenshin was standing in his same position, except he had changed, in fact he was mirror image of the man that sat before him at the proctors desk. With his red hair now shining brightly in the days light he would slowly open his mouth to speak. "I have preformed the required jutsu of me and would like my headband to be given to me now rather than later".

If the man complied with Kenshin's words, then he would take the Konoha headband in his left palm and slowly look down at it and stare for quite some time. He had finally done it, he had became a shinobi of the leaf village and could now further his goals to the absolute farthest they could go. Looking out of the windows he could see the younger students playing outside, they were young, had a great future ahead of them if they trained and gained power just as Kenshin had done. Memories of his early, happy childhood began flashing in his head as a small smile formed on his face, he remembered what it was like to be young and innocent.

Sadly that time for him was over, it was time to grow up and become the most powerful shinobi he could be. He planned to master the visual prowess of his clan and if possible become an even greater man than his father. He had no plans for anything to hold him back and if something tried he would wipe it clean from this earth in the blink of an eye. Bringing the headband to his forehead he would tie it tightly and begin walking for the exit. As he took his last steps through the door he would chuckle and look back at his former classmates with a smirk "Pathetic" he scoffed under his breath and continued walking out of the room and down the hall to exit the Academy building.
