Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private) Empty Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private)

Mission:

Denkiteki had yet another mission to do. He had wished that he could have a week or two off, he still needed to figure out what was wrong with him. But he would get no breaks, it would seem. He was still worried about what he would do, if he got to excited. Always, he felt a bit of a twitch, an urge to stab or slash at something. Sometimes when he was alone, he would go through the motions. Slicing an invisible knife at an invisible target, stabbing them through the chest or some other body part. The excitement it brought him was scary, the thought of stabbing and slicing and killing someone.

What is happening to me? The strange chakra that was around him, that was his, seemed only to grow in strength. His eyes had grown darker, his body always felt as though he was ready for a fight. When would it end, when would he return to normal? His fear was that he was stuck this way. That he would remain like how he was forever.

Luckily though, he wouldn’t’ have to worry about getting into a fight and going crazy, at least not on his new mission. He just had to find some Genin, who had probably gotten lost on the island somehow.

The only problem was, that Minorin was coming with him. It wasn’t that he didn’t want to do missions with her, it’s just that she would ask questions he wouldn’t’ know the answers to. He knew that she could tell something was wrong, and he knew she would ask questions sooner or later.

Denkiteki waited for her at the village gates, wearing his Chuunin gear as well as his Wakizashi, which he wore at his belt as usual. All other weapons were at home, he didn’t think he would even need his sword, and hadn’t felt like going through the trouble of strapping on his holster and weapon pouch.

Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private) Empty Re: Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private)

Wed Nov 21, 2012 3:00 am
Today Minorin had woken up late, she was still feeling drowsy as she hurriedly dressed and brushed teeth, she hadn’t even bothered to eat breakfast and had pulled her hair up into a ponytail in order to hide her unsightly bedhead.

She had been up all night worrying about Denkiteki. His weirdness was getting to her because all of a sudden it seemed like she really cared about what happened to him. He was acting so strange. And the look he had held on his face on the last mission they went on, the one where she had to kill someone, that look had deeply bothered her. Maybe by killing that boy she had hurt Denkiteki rather than helping him. She shook the thought away.

Today was different though! Today she was prepared; she had her ninjato sheathed and hanging on her belt and her kunai holster was strapped to her leg, she meant to look professional. Not to mention today was the day she’d find out what was wrong with Denkiteki and if she had to she’d beat the answers out of him! He had her worried sick! She hadn’t even had time to cope with her killing a man because of the idiot making her so worried about him! She felt as though she should wring his neck.

She hastily strolled through the streets of Kirigakure and found Denkiteki waiting for her at the gates as he always did when they had a mission together. Well, except for when they had to unload that one truck and there might’ve been another time as well. But this was a very familiar scene.

As Minorin came nearer to the boy she saw that he looked ill, as if he wasn’t sleeping much either. She examined the boy, he was dressed normally; he even had his Wakizashi as usual, nothing really seemed wrong except for his expression and the fact that he hadn’t bothered to bring his weapons pouch. She looked into the boy’s face; his eyes had grown darker too. He was acting so odd.

Then a thought struck Minorin. It was so obvious she nearly fell over.

This was obviously puberty!

She’d overheard her mother and father talking about it once. How boys go through changes that make them seem really different from before and Minorin really hadn’t listened very much.. She’d ask them to explain it better once she returned home. She wondered how she should tell Denkiteki how she knew about his going through puberty; would it be normal to congratulate him perhaps?

She pulled on her fingers and fidgeted, this was an awkward situation. Minorin looked down at her feet and took a deep breath, “So I think it’s pretty obvious that you’re going through some serious changes as of late.”

She looked up at Denkiteki now, how on earth could she congratulate him when he looked so unlike himself. She decided to say nothing more and flashed a quick smile at the boy.

Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private) Empty Re: Finding The Genin (Min and Den, Private)

Denkiteki sighed when Minorin said she had noticed that he had been changing, “Let’s talk about it later, alright? Right now we have to find that kid. We can talk about this later.” He hoped that it would be enough to stop the girl from pestering him about the mission, but he was unsure.

Denkiteki would walk down that dirt road, as he normally did. He made the motion for Minorin to follow. His expression was blank, his mood still terrible. Just go find this kid, and then you can worry about your problems. For now, just focus on the mission.

Denktieki had no idea where to look for the kid, unfortunately. All he knew was the kid had been sent on a mission to patrol the island alone, and had yet to report back. It was rather pathetic really. How could the kid mess up while on patrol? It wasn’t like there were Missing-nin anywhere or anything like that. The last one Denkiteki had known about had been killed, by Minorin of all people.

Despite not knowing where he was, Denkiteki began to hear screaming after going down the road for a few minutes. He quickly dash over to the sound at high speed, and found a young boy pinned to the ground by a tree. It was on top of one of his legs. He saw the headband, and knew it was the Genin he was sent to find.

Sighing, Denktieki used the shadow clone jutsu, and he and the clones lifted the tree long enough for the boy to get out. Helping the boy up, Denktieki released his clones. After that he, the boy, and Minorin if she had followed him, would return to the village.
