Training (Private, No kill)

Denkiteki tapping her strikes away with zero difficulty really pissed her off, she had already known this training might end up this way but it was still infuriating. As Denkiteki changed positions she stopped her kick and wanted to lunge out at his body in an attempt to punch, hit, or scratch any part of it, but that wouldn’t go well in the current situation. He was so stupid! Didn’t he know he was her slave today? So shouldn’t she be beating the crap out of him right now armor or not? He could at least pretend she was! In her anger she attempted to stomp on Denkiteki’s foot as it was moving. He would not leave from this position. He was going to teach her better by letting himself become her very own personal punching bag, or at least that’s what she wanted.

As she attempted to stomp on Denkiteki’s foot she tried to think of a way she might be able to hit him. All of her attempts at distracting him had failed so attempting to fake him out would most likely end in failure as well. There was nothing she could do. The difference of rank and power between the two of them made sure that Minorin was incapable of putting up a proper fight and she was beginning to feel discouraged.

Minorin wondered if there was any possible way of her beating Denkiteki at this point in time, as she thought she realized that she would not be able to win against him. Denkiteki towered over her, he was stronger than she was, he was faster than she was, and he was definitely more experienced, so how on earth had she even hoped to make any sort of mark on him?

She could hit her father when they sparred but that was probably because he was losing his touch and had aged considerably since his years as a shinobi. Well, if you count being thirty seven as aged anyway and of course little Minorin counted it since she was only nine. Thirty seven seemed forever away. Minorin wished she had some rope. She would tie Denkiteki up and leave him in some secret underground cavern for a full twenty four hours before retrieving him. Then he’d be scared straight out of his wits! Having had a bunch of creepy crawlies scuttling all over him and maybe even biting him, he’d think of good ol’ Minorin as his savior from such a horrible and boring demise. And make himself her slave for the rest of his days. He’d even forget that Minorin had left him down there he’d be so happy to see a living breathing human being again. All of these amazing thoughts made Minorin really wish she knew about some kind of ultra-secret underground cavern as well as having a bunch of rope. Her daydreams had only lasted a couple of seconds despite their depth and Minorin was struggling in her attempt to squash Denkiteki’s foot.

Because all of Denkiteki’s weight was on his forward foot, he had no way of dodging the little girl’s attack. He felt the heel of her shoe crash down onto his leather shoes. Luckily he wasn’t wearing sandals, otherwise it would have hurt a lot more than it did. Still, he winced with pain as he felt his toes get smashed, and he had to take 2 big steps back so that Minorin couldn’t take advantage of him being in pain.

After the pain subsided, which only took a few moments, he couldn’t help but chuckle. His impassive mask broke, and Denkiteki looked cheerfully at Minorin, “Darn, you go me pretty good. I have to admit it. You’re good at Taijutsu.”

A smile remained on his face as he went back into his original position once again, and waited for Minorin to attack him once more. She keeps doing better and better, I’d be lying if I told myself I wasn’t worried about what she was going to do next. he would have to be careful, or else she would take advantage of any opening he gave her, at least, that was how he felt.

Denkiteki took a quick, deep breath, and waited for Minorin’s next move. Just stay focused, and don’t leave any openings. She’s going to feel overconfident now, she’s going to get cocky. You just have to be ready for that. After thinking that the smile disappeared, and his emotions were hid once again by an expression void of emotion.

Minorin was pleased to see Denkiteki’s face contort with pain as her foot connected with his. It felt good. She had finally got a nice solid hit on him.

Denkiteki took two very large steps backwards and away from Minorin, she assumed his actions were so that she wouldn’t try anything else while his foot was throbbing, after all Minorin had stepped on it with all her might, it had better sting.

She decided not to move and let her partner rest his foot for another moment or so. Then the boy laughed, the pain must be gone but isn’t it kind of weird to laugh after you’ve been hurt? Minorin had never done that before. There must be something wrong with him. He was even looking at her and smiling! Does he like being hurt? Oh my, that’d be scary actually. Then the boy went on to tell her that she had got him pretty good and that she was good at taijutsu.

He had to be kidding. There was no way she was good at it, maybe he was inexperienced in taijutsu as well. No, that wouldn’t make sense; he seemed to know what he was doing when they were sparring. Minorin decided to accept the compliment with a smile and nodded at Denkiteki, “Thank you! You’re really good though, it took forever to just hit you! We’re still going to practice more aren’t we?” She asked her question in a simple and anxious tone, she didn’t want to practice anymore, at least not Taijutsu for the rest of the day.

Then after asking her question Denkiteki put himself back into his original position. Minorin really hated that position, it made it difficult to hit both the stomach and legs in a way that would be beneficial to her. She really didn’t want to practice this anymore! She wanted to end on a good note, and that good note was her stomping on his foot, effectively hitting him. She liked ending hard training once she got something nice out of it. Minorin sighed; he was ready for her to attack so she didn’t want to tell him to stop. That’d be mean after he’d helped her so much already today.

Denkiteki even made a deep and quick breath, a sign that he was ready perhaps? She opened her mouth to say something to him, to say that he could get out of that ridiculous position and train something else with her now, but she couldn’t do it. She shut her mouth and frowned. Then her mind was struck with a fabulous idea. Maybe she could attack him without Taijutsu! Then he’d understand that they were done with Taijutsu for the day and be impressed by her great manners and skill. Well, even she knew she was exaggerating but it was nice to think that way.

Minorin executed the hand signs necessary and felt the soil turn to sand under her feet. This was the one and only technique she could use as of right now and she was going to use it to pop up under Denkiteki, grab him by the ankles, and drag him under. Hopefully it would go as planned and she would impress him in the process, Minorin found that she really liked being praised by someone of higher rank.

Minorin was now below ground and made the short distance between she and Denkiteki vanish almost instantaneously, he was only a couple of steps away so it had been nothing to reach him at such speed, she then reached her hands up and out of the earth and attempted to grab hold of what she assumed were Denkiteki’s ankles, if she had indeed grabbed onto his ankles she would proceed to pull him under.

Denkiteki frowned as Minorin disappeared into the ground, “That’s against the rules….”

He sighed again, what should he do? He could go underground and continue training with her there, or he could simply let her drag him into the ground. Or I could mess with her. he thought with a chuckle. He couldn’t think of anything extremely clever though, so instead he just did the hand seals for the same jutsu Minorin was doing. He got out of his stance as he thought, seeing no point in staying in it.

As Minorin grabbed his ankle and pull, he would fall into the earth easily and with no problem. He hadn’t been sure that her plan had been to pull him under the ground, he had actually been planning to go underground after she popped up behind him or something like that. But it still worked out for Denkiteki. Even after being pulled into the ground, Denkiteki was able to move freely, as his chakra turned the earth around him into fine sand. Smirking, Denkiteki moved his body back to the surface, until he was standing back exactly where he had been before.

Denkiteki looked around, trying to see if Min had gotten out of the ground as well, “Why don’t we take another break, if you’re bored with this exercise?” he would say with a chuckle, his usual smirk appearing once again on his face.

It seemed her plan was working! She had a tight grip on Denkiteki’s legs and was in the process of pulling him under when all of a sudden the tall boy began falling into the earth. Minorin froze for a moment, not entirely sure what was going on before she let go and wriggled out of the boy’s way before resurfacing.

She now stood a meter and a half away from Denkiteki and was turned partially towards him. She turned all the way towards the boy and sighed. That’d actually been a little terrifying. He could have squashed her.

Minorin was glad for all of his help though and when he mentioned a break she was relieved, “Yes, a break sounds perfect.”
