Sparring with Sachiko (private, no kill)

Sanji had the gift of being very observant, though it could be a curse in certain scenarios, given that he was often very candid in his speech. He stood up as he watched her wipe her eyes, taking his stance again." I'm sorry, that was a dirty trick." He says with a truncated chuckle at the end of his bad joke. Seeing her take off those weights gave him a bit of pause, impressed at how fast she was with them on. He made a point to be extra careful because she could be on him quickly without him being able to move out of the way, especially since now she had produced a blade.

When she came at him again, he focused his mind on the tried and true technique of kawarimi no jutsu, and just as she slashed at where he was, he would exchange his place with that of a log, leaving him behind the tree he was meditating near earlier. The log suffered a large gash from the chakra-imbued blade and clattered to the ground where that explosive tag was laid earlier, potentially setting it off.

Sachiko giggled slightly, enjoying the joke, before her face contorted into a horrified expression as the log hit the explosive tag. "Crap!" the girl said, hurriedly forming the handsigns to the substitution jutsu, successfully avoiding the brunt of the explosion. However, she wasn't fast enough to avoid getting slightly burned in the process. "Man, Mommy is gonna kill me!" the girl muttered softly under her breath as she looked at her slightly singed clothes before grabbing a shruiken and some ninja wire and throwing it a little left of her opponent, so that it would come back and tie him up. "Try to escape THIS!" the girl cackled evilly as she formed the handseals to transform into a large dragon like creature and letting out a bloodthirsty roar-- her intimadation tactic. The girl then let out a small jet of flames at the boy. I have to end this before I run out of chakra! the girl thought worriedly to herself. This transformation consumed a lot of chakra, so she had to end it quickly.

Peered around the tree where he had ended up after the substitution just as the log set off the explosive tag and went careening into the air. Sanji's steel blue gaze watched as Sachiko used her own substitution to get herself out of danger, and he only needed to see a shuriken to know he needed to get out of where he was. Those well-muscled legs propelled him into the air with a powerful leap as the log began coming down from its brief flight. He was gambling on this so he hoped it worked, since she was relentless in her assault and he'd only managed to mount 1 unsuccessful offensive maneuver, as well as a harmless toss of dirt that only held her up briefly, and now he looked on with astonishment for a brief second when she transformed. He grabbed onto the log and landed with it in his hands before tossing it at Sachiko's now dragon-esque face, hoping to reroute the flames and score a blow with the improvised weapon.

The young red headed girl watched as her friend managed to dodge her wire trap with practiced ease, causing her to become frustrated slightly. Darn it! How can a person be so skilled in dodging?! the dragon- turned girl mentally screamed before attempting to dodge the log that was thrown at her. Sadly, due to her larger form now, she wasn't able to dodge fast enough and was hit in the face with the log. Surprised and now injured, Sachiko de-transformed into her human form, exhausted and bruised. Despite this, she determinedly focused on the form of her opponent, waiting for his next move.

Sanji watched the log hit and sort of cringed. He hadn't exactly given it thought but even as a dragon she had to feel that one. Admittedly he was slightly winded from having to maneuver so much, Sachiko was really pouring it on. Raising both hands it might appear that he was about to form seals and launch an attack, but instead he made a T shape with his hands." Time out. This is a little more serious than a spar right now. I thought we were just going to practice taijutsu." he says.

Sanji probably could've spoken up about this earlier, though he felt a bit too busy with trying not to get killed to do so." Also, are you alright? I'm sorry about hitting you with that log, I panicked." he replies, approaching slowly and cautiously, his hands up in front of him to show passiveness.

Sachiko merely let out a bright grin in response to her new friend's apology. "It's fine, I totally understand!"

When she finished this sentence, she continued in a happy tone of voice, "You're really good at sparring, Sanji! I mean, you were all like wham and then kablam and completely dodged all of my moves!"

Her grin grew wider and she dashed toward her friend and gave him a hug before pulling away in embarrassment as her stomach growled, "Sooooo... wanna get some ramen?" she asked curiously, pointing at her tummy, "All this sparring made me hungry. I'll even pay!"

Initially he didn't know how to take the way she ran up to him, seeing as they had just been fighting. But he decided against retaliation and looked a bit perplexed as she hugged him. He placed a hand on her back gently in return and nodded down to the much smaller genin. His hand slipped right back out of it's position on her back as she stepped away from him, still looking slightly confused through that deadpan expression.

"Sure, but I'm afraid I can't allow you to pay for me, that wouldn't be very gentlemanly of me." he replies. Looking around, he helped gather up the various ninja tools she utilized in the spar. Coiling the wire around his hand loosely, he handed it and the shurikens back to Sachiko." Don't need to be leaving these laying around, you might need them someday." he says, a ghost of a smile on his lips. A rarity for him.

Sachiko happily nodded at her friend and took the ninja tools from Sanji's hand with a grateful look before dashing back to get her weights. After she clipped the training weights on, she ran back to the tall genin and let out a wide grin. "Let's go!" she said proudly, puffing out her chest and walking toward the noodle restaurant with as much gusto as she possibly could in an mediocre imitation of a man she had seen on television the other day.

This will be so fun! I can't believe I made such a great new friend! the girl thought eagerly as she continued on her way toward the noodle shop, fully expecting her friend to follow.

Sanji followed along with her quietly, occasionally glancing at the girl as she swaggered in that cute manner all the way to ichiraku ramen.
