Training Together: Navi and Sachiko (PRIVATE) NK

Navi stood there patiently as he waited for her to focus and build chakra. When she was finally ready Sachiko hurled her fist at him. Navi quickly reacted, catching her fist in the blink of an eye. She has achieved a small amount of focus, but to perform this jutsu she's going to need more then that.

"Again, focus on the leaf in the center of your palm, maintain the energy in your hand, and unleash it in your strike".

Navi picked up a leaf in his palm to demonstrate and closed his eyes for a moment. His hand began to glow blue with a faint outline of chakra. When he opened his eyes he unleashed a strike in the center of a tree trunk next to them. His fist went straight through the tree trunk, making a hole to the other side. He pulled his fist out and opened it, revealing the leaf in his palm. A moment later a breeze came and blew it gently out of his hand.

Navi leaned back and waited for Sachiko to try again.

Sachiko's eyes widened at her sensei's display before narrowing her sky- blue eyes in determination. She would get this, no matter what! The young fiery- red haired girl closed her eyes and opened her palm, which was contorted into a fist moments ago, the leaf crumpled a little.

Yet again the girl focused on the flow of her chakra on the palm of her hand where the leaf lay, being reminded of a pot being filled with water for some strange reason. Or fire, in the young academy student's case.

Several minutes passed before she gathered a sufficient amount of chakra into her palms (which was really really difficult in Sachiko's opinion) and attempted to punch her teacher again with all her might after curling her hand into a fist.

I can do this! The young girl thought obstinately, her eyes narrowed in complete concentration.

Sachiko might not have seen it, but for just a moment, her hand flickered blue with chakra.
Navi's eyebrows perked up for a moment as he watched intently. Her fist came at Navi with all of her might. Navi rose his hand to catch it and was surprise by its power. He even used a small burst of his own chakra just to ensure he could fully block it.

"That was perfect, Sachiko. I am very proud of you." She had mastered the first part of the jutsu. Next he needed to teach her the handsigns, he closely showed her each of the three hand movements in order to perform the technique. When he was sure she got it he took the leaf and placed it on her head.

"When your ready, focus on the image of me in your mind, focus your chakra, and unleash it in the form of the transformation jutsu."

Sachiko blushed slightly at her sensei's compliment before saying, "Ok, Navi- sensei!" The young girl then closely observed each and every hand sign her teacher made, commiting them to memory.

Sachiko then closed her eyes and concentrated on the flow of her chakra, feeling the energy through her veins. Again, the academy student was reminded of a pot being filled with an element of some sort before imagining her sensei's appearance. As soon as that image was in her head, Sachiko carefully performed the hand signs required for the jutsu, and continued to focus on her chakra.

Seconds later the girl had transformed into an exact replica of Navi and let out an eager grin. "Did I get it right this time?" she asked, her voice laced with hope. She didn't want to get it wrong again-- but even if she did, she would just try again until she got it! It was only a matter of time before she got it. No matter what, she would never give up! This was the first step to protecting her village and precious people, and nothing would stand in the way of her goal.

Navi was astonished, on only the second try she had mastered the jutsu he had taught her. An exact replica of himself stood in front of him. Navi was very proud and had a hard time hiding his enthusiasm.

"Did I get it right this time?" she asked, her voice laced with hope. "Yes, you got the appearance exactly right. Although if you were infiltrating a base or trying to fool someone, you would be immediately spotted. In order to perfect the technique, you also need to match my speech pattern and copy my voice. That all takes practice though, for now, you've mastered the jutsu."

As the jutsu dissipated Navi prepared to teacher her the next technique. "I hope I'm not teaching you too well and putting you too far ahead. With the training I just gave you I'm sure your at the top of your class." Oh well, if his apprentice graduated at the top of her class then that would only reflect well on him.

Navi built up a little chakra and a quick series of handsigns. Suddenly, two clones appeared on either side of Sachiko. "The clone technique is the second technique you must master in order to graduate. The clones that you see aren't real, they are illusions. You can reach right through them and they are harmless. This jutsu is primarily used for distraction".

"Are you ready to learn it?" Navi said with a grin.

Sachiko grinned proudly at her Sensei's words and nodded enthusiatically, commiting all of it to memory to reflect upon at a later time. Right now she was still learning from her awesome new Sensei!

Suddenly her teacher made a serious of handsigns in a fast succession, creating two exact copies of him on either side of him. Sachiko grinned in anticipation as she listened to him explain the workings of the jutsu, thinking of all the great pranks she could possibly pull now with her new jutsu(s).

The young girl listened intently until her teacher asked with a grin, "Are you ready to learn it?"

At these words, the tiny academy student's sky- blue eyes lit up and she smiled brightly. "Yes, Navi- sensei!" she said excitedly, beginning to shiver with excitement at learning a new jutsu. While not as awesome and useful as the first and second jutsu, in her opinion, it was still pretty cool. She imagined all the possibilities as to how she could utilize it in her pranks.

Navi had a strange feeling that Sachiko had a different reason for wanting to learn all of these jutsu, but he decided not to pursue it. This jutsu would be much simpler to teach. After showing her the exact handsigns to use explaining it would be trivial.

"All you need to do is project the illusion of your body wherever you want. Use your chakra to create an image of you on a spot of ground next to you. Once you've created the image, you can move them, speak for them and do what ever you'd like. Remember that the more clones you make, the more chakra you consume."

Navi dissipated his clones and went back to waiting. A lot of this training took patience. All he really had to do was watch Sachiko attempt the jutsu, then giving her tips or demonstrations when needed.

Sachiko nodded in understanding and continued to listen intently as her teacher continued to explain how to cast the jutsu. "Ok, Navi- sensei!" the young girl said happily, grinning in eagerness.

The young girl closed her eyes and concentrated hard on the flow of her chakra, attempting to manipulate it toward her hands. Slowly but surely the chakra began to gather there, causing Sachiko to inwardly smile. After six minutes of waiting, the girl finally decided she had gathered enough chakra to perform the jutsu and decided on making one or two clones due to her slight weariness and inexperience in using this jutsu.

The young girl imagined herself in her mind's eye and then pictured herself on the ground beside her. Suddenly, she began to carefully form the required hand- signs for the jutsu and grinned, opening her eyes as she felt her chakra flow through her hands with slight difficulty.

A perfect clone appeared beside her and blinked blankly around herself, her eyes void of any emotions, slightly freaking the boisterous girl out.

It looks like she was about getting the hang of this jutsu too. Navi was extremely impressed with her progress and began to take note of her weariness. "Very good Sachiko, now that I've taught you both jutsu, you can practice and master them". With the skills he had just taught her, she had everything she needed to pass the Genin Exam.

Navi liked his new apprentice though, and he was pretty sure she liked him. Although he was no longer required to teach her anything else, he was happy to continue being her sensei, even after she became a genin.

Navi smiled at her, "You look like a ninja in combat, tired and low on chakra." A normal shinobi might call it a day and go home after a successful training session. Navi knew that this was an opportunity. "A strong shinobi has to fight the enemy even when they themselves are low on chakra and tired out".

"The will of fire still burns in you, and a exhaustion is a common feeling in battle. You can't let it ever slow you down."

Navi didn't move, he was leaning against another tree with his arms crossed and his gaze set on her. "Lets see how strong you really are, even at the point of exhaustion." Navi smiled slightly again as the sun was just beginning to touch the horizon. "Now come at me with everything you've got."

Sachiko smiled at her Senseir's praise and nodded, feeling a little sad that he woasn' going to teach her more jutsus, but understood. The young academy student respected her new Sensei and liked him a lot.

"Now come at me with everything you've got." her sensei said, leaning against another tree and crossing his arms.

The young girl's face contorted into a serious expression, closing her eyes and concentrating on her chakra. The young girl felt her chakra flow after thre minutes had passed, (a vast improvement from her original ten minutes) and then preformed the necessary hand signs to make an illusionary clone, a picture of herself in her mind's eyes.

Once that was completed, she quickly opened her sky blue eyes to see one replica of herself beside her and grinned. "Let's do this!" the real Sachiko said loudly, grinning before dashing toward her sensei, going in a zigzag position along with her clone to try and confuse him as to which one was the real Sachiko.

Once she did, the young girl applied chakra along with her hand alongside her clone, preparing to punch her sensei with her chakra infused fist.

Clone Sachiko attempted to punch her Sensei first.
