Realizing that the battle was now over, with the Konohagakure shinobi fleeing from Kumogakure with their dead Hokage's body and seeing that the Raikage was dead he knew that it was time to retreat and plan some sort of counter attack against Konohagakure no Sato. He had no intentions of allowing them to get away with the damage they caused. He could only celebrate in the fact that while his village lost its Kage, Konohagakure had also lost their Kage.

He left the area where the Raikage's office once was at but was now a mere crater and symbol of the devastation of two Kage dueling against each, the power of Sharingan being used and Bijuu powers being unleashed. Both sides had a lot of damage to deal with, although Kumogakure was going to have to restore the damage done to the village along with replacing the Raikage. He despised the fact that Konohagakure was only going to have to replace their Hokage position. One day though, Konohagakure no Sato would pay for their crimes and their village would be burned to the ground.
