A Reunion (Private) Empty A Reunion (Private)

The room was quite empty. Nashua sat in the Raikage's chambers, waiting for him to get back. He watched birds fly by the window as he did so, relaxing back in the black leather chair upon which he sat. He had arrived while the Raikage was out, and had not been noticed by him for Nashua was sure he had left long before he got there. Assuming that the Raikage would be back soon, not wanting to be away from the village for too long, Nashua had decided to wait in his chambers for him to come back. Granted, when he had first arrived at the village of Kumogakure it would have been hard not to stop and stare at the site. The Hokage walking through your village with several ANBU and Uchiha members tailing him was not something one would see everyday. As he sat his ANBU and Uchiha soldiers would be placed as guards around the entire building and throughout the village in case something abnormal or a threat happened, though it was not likely. The only ANBU that would be seen however were the Leaf ANBU at the front door to the building, the rest would be hidden using their special jutsu and hiding in strategically marked out places. The places were marked and kept track of by an expert tracker and mapper who had taken a map of the entire village when they arrived, except for obviously any secret hideaways or anything like that. Nashua just sat as his men got to work, awaiting the arrival of the Raikage. Apparently, the previous Raikage had passed away and now in his place was a person Nashua recognized by his picture. The boy's name was Kino Uchiha, one that Nashua was familiar with. The boy was the one he had long before tried to kill for trespassing in the village of Konoha of which he now ruled. It was quite ironic, how they had fought once before with Nashua sparing his life, and now both Uchiha had gone on to become the leaders of their villages. Nashua looked out the window to the sunny day on Kumo and chuckled. "Now this should be interesting."

A Reunion (Private) Empty Re: A Reunion (Private)

Kino, had recently finished some work that required him to
be out of his chambers for a bit. Just a small meeting among a few Jounin and
village counsel, and the ANBU. He had two ANBU members walking behind Kino,
back towards his chambers which wasn't too far away now. He walked down the
streets, as many civilians were heading off to do their daily chores, heading
to work or heading to the shops to pick up some grocery, medicine, or other
sorts of supplies people would normally use everyday. Today seemed rather
peaceful, walking down Kumogakure's streets. The sun was out, only blocked by a
few clouds, but it only made it seem more peaceful as the sun's rays would
blast down upon Kumogakure. He would continue as he would see multiple people
running around getting to where they needed to be at now.

He would soon arrive at the kage building, and notice some ANBU, seemingly Konohagakure ANBU ninja. Didn't seem like an attack, though Kino remained on guard. He would pass the ANBU shinobi, and make way for his chambers. He walked towards his chambers, and opened the door to find someone he had not seen in a while. This person, an old enemy of Kino's. The question Kino was thinking, was he still an enemy? He would put his hand on his sword, waiting. He kept his guard up and began to speak "Hello there.."

The door to the Raikage's Chambers would open and Nashua would turn in his chair to greet him. "Oh hello there, young Kino!" he said putting on a smile. Obviously Nashua had assumed correct that he would be back soon. It seemed that Nashua was making all the right moves today. "And how might our little Raikage be doing today?" he said, teasing him. "Doing well with the Kage business, at least your village isn't blown up yet or anything," he added, trying to make him a bit mad. "Relax though I am just joking, I came here to meet the new Raikage. As you might see by my hat," Nashua said, waving his Hokage hat around a bit. "I also am in a new position. All is well in my village, not a whole lot of rebellions at the moment. The Uchiha clan is doing well. And how about you? Young Kino?" he said, putting a serious look on. "Having troubles or anything? Or possibly plans going on?" he continued to ask, sitting back in the dark leather of the high backed chair.

He would stand there, his hand on his sword. He was looking at the person he had once fought in his past, the person who had also given Kino the first two tomoe in the sharingan. He had heard him say Hello to Kino, weird how he had known his name, Kino didn't recall telling this man his name. He then heard the man say, how is the little Raikage today? Kino just stood there with an annoyed look... Little?.. He was annoyed now. Being called little, not his favorite thing to be called. He quickly got over it, and put his neutral face back on. The man then asked, how was the kage buisiness, and at least the village hasn't blown up. Kino, only slightly annoyed. Many people had tried to make Kino mad since he had become the Raikage, though nothing had really worked, he just let out a sigh. He had heard the man say he was joking, and that he had just came here to meet the new Raikage, then he mentioned something about a hat. Kino looked at him as he would wave around the Hokage's hat, now wondering why he had come here. It must not have only been to meet the new Raikage, something was most likely happening in side of the village. For now, Kino would act friendly until he would learn if there was really any other reason the Hokage was visiting. "Congrats then, assuming you are the new Hokage."He would say, not exactly with an annoyed face, or a happy, pleasent face, he had said it with a rather neutral face, the face he normally had whenever he had done anything, work, or relaxation.

A Reunion (Private) Empty Re: A Reunion (Private)

Nashua let out a laugh at Kino's annoyance. It was funny then how he had tried to keep a poker face on. How humorous it was to see people try to mask their emotions. Nashua stood up from his chair, patting his robe as he did so. "Well Raikage thank you for the praise, means a lot to me," Nashua said, adorning an eerie smile that didn't really show happiness, but it didn't show anything else either. It seemed that the Raikage was looking for something to him, maybe he didn't trust the man that had once nearly killed him? Nashua likely wouldn't trust someone who attempted to kill him either. He walked a step closer to the Raikage, now towering over the boy. He looked down to him, looming over like Death hangs over the site of a war, adorning his joyous grin. Parting to the side, Nashua spoke. "Right this way to your desk, Raikage-sama," Nashua said, flavoring the last word with a kind of hiss. He then sat back down in the black leather chair, turning towards the desk. "So, how are things with the village? Any troubles or anything? I'd like to know how someone like you, so young, would manage the large work burden of a village, young Kino," Nashua questioned. "Oh and by the way, do you mind assigning some people to bring a supply cart to Konoha possibly? My supplies in the village have been running low, and we're all Kage here, right?" Nashua asked, joking at the end. He let out a sigh and looked out the window to see a nest on the windowsill outside. In the nest was a little bird chirping, crying for its mother. All the while a snake slithered up to the nest and lifted up, looming over the helpless chick. And it was consumed by the cruel snake, mercilessly.

Kino heard the man say that Kino's praise meant a lot to him, he only sighed, thinking that the Hokage only came here to annoy Kino it would seem. The Hokage would take a step towards Kino. Kino kept his guard up as the Hokage walked forward. The Hokage looked down at Kino. he way he was looking at Kino made Kino rather annoyed. He walked over to his desk now, as the Hokage would begin to ask, how was Kumogakure? Not in those exact words, the exact words were, how are things in the village? He replied, wondering why the Hokage had questions of Kumo, Kino figured it was most likely just to make a conversation. "Good I guess.. No troubles at all." Kino replied, as one of his ANBU members that was walking behind him a while ago went outside, and would keep watch on the village to make sure nothing was going on while the Raikage and the Hokage would talk. The Hokage would begin to say he had wondered how Kino could become raikage at a young age. Even Kino didn't know that one. He had began to wonder about that himself, and just remained silent. The Hokage then asked if Kino could assign some men to bring a supply cart to Konohagakure. Kino thought for a second, he didn't really like Konohagakure, but maybe if he would say yes then this is a quick way of getting Konoha out of Kumo "Alright then, I will later I guess.." Kino would take a few, quick silent steps back remaining on guard as the Hokage would turn to look outside of the window.

A Reunion (Private) Empty Re: A Reunion (Private)

Nashua sat and chuckled inside as the Raikage became evermore annoyed. He was having a jolly old time distracting him. From what? one might say. In this case, from nothing. There was not much at all that required distraction at the moment. He then listened as Kino spoke, seeming very cautious. It was as if Kino spoke to him like a child to a dangerous stranger he met at night. Although he was dangerous, Nashua shouldn't be taken so cautiously, it got annoying after awhile with too many fearing him. He preferred instead respect for his power, not people biding by his word out of fear. But alas, that rarely ever happened for him. Nashua turned his attention back outside and saw as a special red hawk flew off quickly, headed in the general direction of Konoha. There definitely was something special about that hawk as it flew, similar to other messenger hawks, yet unique. Nashua felt that at its destination it should be honored for its beauty and accomplishment. He turned back and faced Kino, staring into his eyes. He grinned at him, a maddening grin indeed, and stared, seemingly into his soul. It was near time for him to depart, Nashua that is. "Well, I think I should be leaving now, I have told you about all that I wanted to, one might say my goals here have been accomplished for today. I will contact you some other time, please do remember to send people for that supply drop if you can?" Nashua said, standing up and turning towards the door. "Sayonara, Raikage, and may you have a safe life until your journey into Death's arms," Nashua said, turning back and grinning one more evil grin. He had succeeded for sure on that day, victory was obvious and he could taste it as he turned and walked out the door then downstairs to exit the building. As he headed towards the gates of the village, a snap of his fingers drew every single ANBU soldier and the mapper back to formation with him rapidly. And Nashua departed from Kumogakure, leaving it to live happily. He would come and see this village again, and it would be beautiful that day. Destiny would make sure of the beauty of the next day he came to Kumogakure for sure. And just like Nashua looms over his enemies like a watchful snake, Death would loom over that day, excited for the gift he would receive of all the white, lifeless dolls he would be given. And so it was set in time.
