Substitute Teacher

Mission Details:

It has been only recently that Rudra has completed his Genin Exam, even though the young Uchiha wasn't a huge fan of schools. While lying down on his bed, he just thought to himself, the time he spent there trying to learn various basic techniques, though he did them quite exceptionally. He woke up from his bed, took a quick hot shower and changed into his usual black long sleeve and pants. He went down to greet his father who unexpectedly fell asleep on the couch. Instead of waking him up, he simply smiled and walked towards his door, at that point he noticed an envelope slid into his house. He bent down to pick it up and straightened himself again. He ripped the top part of the envelope elegantly and removed the letter from its cover. "What do we have here" he thought to himself.

The young Uchiha was given a special mission to be a substitute teacher at the academy since an unknown emergency has brought the attention to the other teachers and they are being preoccupied with them. He was to teach them whatever he had learnt during his time in the academy. "Haix" he sighed. He was more interested in training instead of teaching the kids. Even though Rudra talked less and was elegant when he did, he wasn't the teacher type at all. He kept the contents in his pocket and left the house with his father still sleeping through. As he began walking to the school, he began plotting the assignments for the day. His plan was to teach them the four basic techniques that are crucial in order to pass their Genin exams and if they were to fail on the techniques, they gotta remain at the academy until they pass.

Rudra finally reached outside the class he was to substitute and could hear the ruckus going on inside the classroom. From the side door, he could see there were about 20 students, some were making a lot of noise, while the rest were simply sleeping, just like his father. The Uchiha opened the door and spoke, "Good morning class! I have a very special assignment today to guide you guys into great shinobi. I once sat on those very same seats during my time in the academy. If all of you can pass the four basic techniques, you can do whatever you want and I shall not stop you. If anyone can't pass but makes noise or disturbs anyone else, they are gonna deal with me directly" he said in a firm and strict voice. It was just a facade, he just wanted to get this over with and leave.

"Everybody stand up in a straight line, I want you all to perform the Clone Technique, anyone who fails shall not be seated again" he said with a strict voice again. Rudra took a chair and sat in the front as the students obediently lined him in front of him. “By performing the Ram hand sign, you are able to create an identical copy of yourself but take note this is simply a projection and thus can be used for distraction or tricking your opponent. If you can master this technique, you will be able to create techniques that are compatible with this or even better” he wanted the kids to know the value of learning the most basic of techniques. "Begin!" he shouted. One by one, the academy students performed the simple clone technique and after two hours surprisingly everyone passed with flying colors. "That was good, we have 3 more assignments to complete. Now the same routine but perform the transformation technique" he voiced, this time softly as they were beginning to listen to him. “Now its time for transformation technique, by performing Dog hand sign, you are able to transform into another person, plant, animal or even inanimate object. This is also a technique that can be used to confuse and distract your opponent”. "Begin!" he shouted again albeit with a lesser tone. One by one, the academy students performed the simple transformation technique, transforming into Rudra and after three hours surprisingly everyone passed with flying colors.

The Uchiha was content that the students were able to follow his simple instructions, though he did give them a stern warning of facing the consequences. He was only left with two other simple techniques to get over with. “Next is Substitution Technique, by performing the Tiger > Boar > Ox > Dog > Snake hand signs, you can substitute yourself with any object that is within ten meters from yourself that is at least half your size. This is good for a quick escape when you are about to be hit by technique, now lets begin!” he ordered. Once again, the students one by one performed the technique, some had trouble which Rudra corrected them and in a matter of two hours, they finally completed the technique. “This is the last technique, it's called the Surface Walking Technique. This doesn't require any hand sign, you just have to siphon chakra into your feet or legs and this will allow you to cling onto surfaces that are solid such as walls, trees and bodies of water. Begin!” He commanded the kids after showing a demonstration. Since this was the easiest technique, within an hour, they were able to master it.

“Well done students, I’m really proud of you all. Thank you for being obedient and all the best for your Genin Exam in the future” he smiled at the students while leaving the classroom. In reality, he was so done with it. He couldn’t wait to go home and do some solo training by himself. He picked up his pace and reached home within ten minutes. He saw his father doing some cooking and joined in to help and after completing their dinner, he went back to his room. He was mentally exhausted trying to teach the kids, though he didn’t show that in front of them.
