Kurogane becomes more aggressive

Ren and Takeshiyama had been tasked with the job of finding a certain hideout that Kurogane and his forces have been using as a means of a base far too close to the village that they have all been living in. Ren had met with Takeshiyama in the midst of the plains, where there was very little in the means of obstruction. The two stood among the grass for a moment, and they would converse on what the actions were going to be for the day. Ren would offer the idea of starting in the forests, and he would be open to any ideas that his sumo friend would have for the situation.

Ren would be keeping his eyes out for any source of disturbance from the forest, as the last time he had been in this area, he was ambushed by the rather oddly malformed shinobi just off the shores of the island. They would be exactly 150 meters from the edge of the forest, as Ren wanted to be sure they would be safe from any of the bandits that may be sleuthing around within the edges of the forest.

He had his bodysuit currently covering his hands and his head, just for added protection on this trek that they would soon be taking. He was trepidatious about entering the forest. As he usually was as the last handful of times he had been there, there was always trouble to be found. He was sure this wasn't going to be any different. He kept his head on a swivel, cautiously looking in every direction, being sure they wouldn't be too off-guard.

The sun has reached its zenith by this point, the visibility was clear and the weather was slightly warm, with no fog. The plains were clear with no obstructions within the distance between the two and the forest.

Before he would do anything else, he would create two water clones and have them go into a meditative state to start seeping in to the nature chakra that surrounded them, to fuel his possible sage mode that may be needed in the future. Should Takeshiyama not be ready to leave into the forest, then he would begin to meditate himself, to seep into that chakra himself.

It was with a sigh he watched his compatriot seemingly meditate within the plains. Though he was far more educated than he had been.....all this shinobi magics was beyond him. He did not know why Ren did what he did, just that he did it because it was something he felt he needed to do....talk about convulsion. As for Takeshiyama he had merely grunted in agreement to the plans that Ren had provided differed to his roommate for what was to come. His experiences with the bandits had not been anything more than what he would consider weaklings, so he did not have the same level of respect for the mission as the minstrel did. He would leave the man being approaching the forest and looking to its edge for movement. He was approx. 20m in front of Ren which left another 130m to go before the forest spanned the horizon. Nothing but the ankle high grassy plains behind them.

As for Takeyshiyama, he wore simply his newly purchased robes, leaving the majority of his belongings back home save a few items in his pockets. The leather inside offering a modicum of protection if things went south, though he trusted no armor more than his own flesh. The robes a bright blue with white cloud patterns gently blowing in the embroidered wind. He'd have his Kanobo out, right hand grasping the handle as the end of it was touching the ground. He'd look back for a quick moment, shouting towards his companion "Just keep a look out aye..." Turning back to the trees he'd grumble to himself that this whole ordeal was more trouble than it was worth as he scanned the tree line.

Still, if the bandit regime could potentially cause them issues it was best to snuff them out early rather than wait around and find out.

After a while. Ren believes that his uses could be far grander elsewhere. He leaves the plains and goes to the village once more. "Sorry Takeshiyama. I feel that I am required elsewhere. We shall find them another time." He would bow, call his clones, and he would leave. He would keep his eyes open, and he would feel the charges of natural energy flowing through his body.

His clones would keep their eyes out as well, ensuring they wouldn't be attacked or snuck up on. He would feel bad for a moment, knowing that they needed to ensure that the village was safe, but he felt okay knowing that there would be other chances for them to fight off Kurogane's forces.

Feeling that he would be out of his depth to stay alone, Kaito followed Ren as they left, keeping his eyes open as he did so for any movements or attacks.
