After agreeing to the task and accompanying the old woman to her home she would then hand over a rather large basket with some baked goods and a handful of gifts. She would then give you the location of where it needed to be taken and send you on your way.

- Another lost toy:
The day continued for Ren Kurosawa in the small village, the warmth of the villagers' hospitality still fresh in his memory. As he meandered through the tranquil streets, his gentle and free-spirited nature drew him toward a nearby park. The sun's gentle rays filtered through the trees, creating a peaceful atmosphere that matched Ren's inner serenity.
He didn't know what it was about this place. Maybe it was just the fact that he knew that he was nearer to Junko on this island than he would be if he went anywhere else. Maybe it was the fact that this place held so many secrets and so much mythos that his bardic tendencies could be sated for a lifetime. He wasn't sure what it was, but it was enough to make him want to stay, at least for the time being.
Amidst the greenery, Ren's keen eyes caught a glimpse of vibrant colors dancing in the sky. He looked up and saw a kite, its string having snapped, drifting aimlessly on the breeze. The colorful kite, with its intricate design, looked out of place in the serene park. Its presence was both enchanting and mysterious.
Without a second thought, Ren decided to make it his mission to find the owner of the lost kite. He believed that the right thing to do was to return it to its rightful place, bringing joy to its young owner. With the colorful kite in hand, he set off on his quest.
Ren wandered through the village, inquiring with the locals if they had seen a child looking for their missing kite. His warm and amiable demeanor made it easy for people to approach him, and he received helpful tips and directions as he ventured further into the village.
After some time, he came upon a small, cozy house on the outskirts of the village. There, in the front yard, a young boy played with a forlorn expression on his face. It didn't take Ren long to connect the dots – the lost kite must belong to this boy.
Approaching the child with a gentle smile, Ren held out the vibrant kite for him to see. "Is this your kite?" he asked kindly.

Ren spent hours in the garden, his deep appreciation for nature guiding his efforts to make contact with the spirits. He meditated, offered soothing melodies, and even tried to communicate with them in hushed tones, asking what it was they wanted. But the spirits remained elusive, their presence only hinted at by the disturbances they caused.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Ren reluctantly left the garden, unable to make contact with the mischievous spirits. He returned to the elders, his warm and amiable demeanor marked by a sense of determination. "I tried to make contact with the spirits, but they elude me," he admitted. "I couldn't find out what they want, but I promise to try again."
The elders nodded appreciatively, understanding the complexity of the situation. They knew that Ren's compassion and curiosity made him the best candidate to uncover the mystery behind the spirits' actions.

He couldn't help to be honestly fascinated by their very existence. He wanted to help the people of the village sure, but more than anything, he just wanted to see these spirits in action. All his life he had spent so much time around tales and legends, sagas and epics! But now this could have been his chance to find something real that would open the door to so many of those stories being true! He knew that he would be back, and each time he would try a different approach so that he would be able to find those little, or maybe big spirits. Then, and only then, would he be satisfied.
With the sun casting long shadows in the garden, Ren remained steadfast, ready to continue his mission until he could bring peace and harmony back to the village. The spirits may have been elusive, but his unwavering spirit and determination would guide him on this mystical journey.
