Bank Maintenance - What Could Go Wrong? (Mission)

Seeing this, the real Izu contained herself of her disapointment. At the first sign of her comming back, he showed himself without thinking twice, and it could be a deadly ambush. He would really need to take more precaution, and Izu would need to teach him the way of the hidden mist for sure. But for now she stayed on the roof with her byakugan still active, observing it all unfold.

Kouji led the clone toward the door as they would need to enter to clean, but with her absolute gaze, Izu would see him pick up a rock. ''At the very least he is suspicious of my return... phew.'' tought Izu, thinking at least it wasnt too late to redeem himself, and that training could be possible.

As clone Izu approached the door of the bank to open it, Kouji threw his rock at her. What the student didnt anticipate was that Izu's clone kept her reflexes too, meaning she was easily abble to dodge the rock.

''HEY! What did you do that for?'' Rapidly said the fake izu as she turned around. 

As she saw he was waving handsigns to attack, Izu knew it was the time to react and reveal the mascarade: the test within the test.

She readied herself in the very same spot of her arrival, on the edge of the rooftop of the bank in the most sneaky and silent way, and like it was still the start of their mission, got ready to jump right in front of him. But before that, she decided she wanted to play on him. With a quick handsign weaved single handedly, Izu transformed her clone underneath that was facing Kouji into a menacing hostile ninja towering over the small student, looking at him with killing intent. 

As soon as he transformed, the illusion would yell toward Kouji.

''DIE BOY!'' yelled the transformed clone of Izu, lunging at Kouji before vanishing in a white puff, revealing to be nothing but an illusion, leaving Kouji all alone again.

At the same moment, Izu observed again the student reaction, and jumped silently to land in front of him like she did before. Altough this time she did something different. In her left hand, she grabbed 4 of her special senbons, and threw them silently too toward Kouji, unaware of the imminent treat incomming. Each needle travelled at a speed of 125, meaning the boy wouldnt be fast enough to dodge them, and each one targeted different parts. The first 2 targeted his shoulders, specifically the tenketsu points in the joints of the arm to disable both of his arms, rendering them soft and limp. THe other 2 did the same with his legs, targeting his hip joints to render his legs useless and limp, making him crash onto the ground, all of his four members disabled and rendered limp, making him totally unable to move and totally vulnerable. The needles were thrown in a way to not cause true injuries, but still hurted when they plunged into the joints of the student.

As Izu landed in front of him, her hands in her vest pocket as if this was as easy as drinking water, she looked over him with a bit of disapointment in her eyes, her face serious and judgemental as she chuckled before speaking.

''See Kouji? Danger is everywhere. Don't only trust what you see.'' Said the kunoichi standing over the disabled teen. ''You have a lot to learn. But for now lets clean the bank. I hope you learned.'' Added the hyuuga girl while approaching to remove and take back her needles, flicking them toward the ground to shake off the blood on them in a quick swish motion. 

As the student got up and probably answered Izu, both of them went into the bank to clean the office that was in need of cleaning, and once the task complete and the sun was rising over the waves in the ocean horizon, the duo locked back the door of the bank for the morning clerk and left, their mission completed and the lesson learned for the student. Izu hopped he would remember it and use it to hone his potential, and that one day he'll get to her level.

''HEY! What did you do that for?''

Kouji almost started at her words as she dodged the rock he sent at her. The surprise was almost enough to knock off his concentration, but not enough, he continued forward with his handseals, knowing that stopping could mean certain death. As he continued to move through the seals Izu suddenly transformed into a menacing ninja shouting, "DIE BOY!"

Oddly enough the change didn't scare him. He knew he would die here, but he would die a proud ninja. He finished the seals and released the technique. The pond in the trees nearby gave him an ample water source, a spinning column of water erupted from the surface in the form of a snake and hurtled toward the opposing ninja. However, he didn't stop there. As the man lunged toward him, he lunged in the opposite direction, trying to get outside of his reach and the range of his technique. But as he began to form the seal for ram to cast another clone technique he felt pain as something small darted into him from behind. The pain was brief as instead, the overwhelming feeling was his sudden loss of use in his limbs. The ninja in front of him vanished as he fell to the ground. His Snakes Mouth technique hurtled by uselessly, crashing into the building instead. As he hit the ground he knew death was imminent. He would never live to accomplish his dream of becoming a great teacher of Kirigakure. I'm sorry father. He thought as he hit the ground, the pain of realizing his life was at an end far exceeding the pain of the crash.

Theme Music:

He waited resolutely for death, face down in the dirt. He wouldn't ruin his dignity by begging. A ninja was prepared for this outcome when they signed up for the job. But surprisingly, death never came. Instead, he heard the familiar voice of Izu.

''See Kouji? Danger is everywhere. Don't only trust what you see. You have a lot to learn. But for now lets clean the bank. I hope you learned.''

And then he had sensation in his limbs again. He got up slowly, not wanting to trust his own strength too quickly. Instead of being angry at the deception, Kouji gave her a deep bow when he trusted his ability to be able to do so. A fierce admiration filled him. This lesson was not unlike the many his father had taught him over the years. What might seem unkind to those unwise enough to see the value being taught was actually a lesson that could mean the difference between life and death one day.

"Thank you for the lesson Izu Momochi-sama. I promise not to forget it."

She seemed to only acknowledge him with a quick nod, but that was all he needed, no more words were needed. They then went into the bank and quickly got to work on the sand in the office. He worked quickly and quietly, reflecting on the lesson he had learned tonight. If things had been different, he could very much be dead right now. He needed to never forget that sense of gravity, even on E-rank missions such as these.

He was so caught up with his thoughts that he didn't think about the other less obvious, but equally important question of the night. Who the hell was stirring up all this damn sand?
