The Genin and Academy Student [P]

Kana wasn't too surprised to hear that the brat was going to become a medic, it would be a waste to have that much skill and knowledge about gardening and not put it to use effectively, although a part of her wondered how likely it would be for the brat to become a genin fast enough, she could probably teach her a thing or two about medical ninjutsu when the time came around but she'll tuck that little idea of hers away for later, for now Kana watched as the two owners of the daycare all but practically rushed through the two kunoichi, explaining some of the details about what to do and Kana only sighed as she heard the first bit of crying for the day. The duo entered the building, Kana allowed Hanako to go on ahead to deal with the children since she seemed intent on doing so while she read over the list of instructions left behind, most of it seemed to be just common sense but there was a few notes about certain kids and their allergies, something Kana made sure to memorize, last thing either of them needed was for one of the kids to start going puffy on them, Kana would probably be able to heal the kid but she didn't exactly test her healing capabilities against allergies before nor did she feel like finding out with a child.

Kana allowed her brat to handle most of the kids since she seemed more than ready and less scary than Kana in terms of appearance, already some of the kids were looking at her, some with curiosity and others with fear yet none of them dared to approach her nor did she really try and approach them, she was fine with leaving them alone as long as they weren't actively trying to kill themselves or cry about whatever random thing upset them. At least until one of the brats finally approached her a little thing that barely seemed to be more than 2 years old babbled about something and reached at her cheek, Kana only watching the little thing as he poked and felt her scar, only gently pushing away his hand if the little bastard poked at the scar tissue too hard.

"Yes, yes... Very interesting..." Kana muttered with a sigh as yet another brat came to examine her scar, encouraged by her lack of action against the other smaller child who still looked at and poked at her scar, two little hands now poked and rubbing at her scar tissue, tracing the rough indent in her face. This was why she didn't like to deal with kids, if it wasn't the innocent curiosity of children wanting to know more the scar while feeling it, it was the older brats that had tried to taunt her or pity her about the fact that she was maimed young. After a while of some of the brats staring and poking at her scar to the point that the old flesh was getting agitated, Kana eventually freed herself from them and helped Hanako in feeding the brats, making sure that the brats with the allergies didn't end up trying to sneak a bite of some the other's kids food and getting themselves killed.

Nap time came and went without much words shared between the duo, Hanako was probably far too shy to speak up like Gunshin had been early in their friendship and Kana didn't want to wake any of the brats after finally putting the little bastards down, in the back of her mind she wondered how ethical it would've been to put them to sleep with a jutsu of some sort. Finally the parents would begin to arrive and take the kids away, Kana allowing Hanako to handle most of the work in that regard, for a quiet one she seemed to have a better sense of people skills than Gunshin has even right now and that was with Kana helping the meek girl break out of her shell for the better part of a year or so now. "Well, good work Hanako. If you're serious about the medic thing, come find me when you're a genin. I'll teach you some of what I learned so far." Kana added as the two said their goodbyes, having someone to teach wouldn't be so bad based on her little lesson with Tenchi and maybe Hanako could help get better at her gardening skills later on too.
