Everything’s About to Change

Many moon phases back, during the time that the trees rested with limp arms, bare from their once vivid leaves, Kana had begun to regain some of her past. Memories that once were hidden by some sort of veil. A thick fog that left the Kyuketsuki oblivious from what she truly was.

She was still uncertain of the truth that coursed through her very veins.

Something had brought her here though. Like an invisible thread with the sole purpose of leading the woman to the temple of Jashin. A connection was starting to thread itself between the female Kyuketsuki and this dark place. But why now of all times?

She touched the chilly stone surface, as the candle in her other hand casted many eerie shadows amongst the walls. The smell of dust and earth tickled her nose, and Kana couldn’t shake off some sort of strange sense that threatened to claw at her nerves. Kana’s throat felt tight and she was suddenly fighting the urge to bite down on her thumbnail.

An old habit that she thought had finally died out.

The solitary candle bravely illuminated the pervasive darkness, although the dense atmosphere seemed determined to choke out its glow.

Kana’s eyes suddenly darted towards the direction of the entrance, as her solitude was abruptly interrupted as something or someone noisily made their way within the sacred space of many secrets.

“Their alone. . “ The words made their way into Kana’s thoughts. Reminding her that Lilina was still on guard, hidden within the woods about seven meters away from the temple. A sense of relief fell over her, but Kana knew not to let her guard down. Whoever it was. . they weren’t someone that Lilina recognized.

She lifted the candle until it was level with her chin, casting its light into the direction of all the noise. Her fiery fushia eyes glared into the distance. Ready to react if the moment begged her to.  

Isomo was getting aquainted with the lay of the land outsider of the temple, being now here since a few days, a week almost. Doing mostly in and outs visits of the temple to pray, she arrived later that day, but it still wasnt the evening, the sun still present ans warming the cold dark jagged rock where the temple was embeded into. As the tau woman approached on the usual cliff side sinuous road, she saw a weird presence, a tall man, muscular, covered with dark tattoos and seemingly shirtless. Weird tought to herself. He didnt look one bit like a jashinist or tied to the dark god in any way shape or form... Why would the poor lamb walk straight into the lair of the monster? As Isomo snuck behind to approach without getting noticed she looked even more at the details of the man. He was very tall and bulky, looking like a true fighter. Isomo was impressed of his physique, but she knew it didnt mean anything.

As she was about 2m from him she started to walk more slowly and normaly, signaling her presence, in a way to make the man turn around from the gate he just had oppened towards the temple. "Oh its brave for you to stray here, all alone... dont you know monsters roam around here? One of them could jump you at any given moment!" said Isomo, her unhinged smile oppening wide yo show her enormous mouth and rows of sharp teeths. Letting the man time to answer, she retorqued quickly after. "Im afraid its too late for you, as you've met your worst nightmare, and was stupid enough to be alone! Ah! What a treat! Now die!!" yelled with a eerie and monstrous voice the demon tau, immediately lunging toward the man with mouth wide open, her arms stretching to grasp each arm of the man. As she elongated her arms with her black threads, she grabbed the arms of the man strongly, ready to crush them and break both of his arms, reducing his arms to grounded meat. While she held onto him, she brought down her terrifying gaping maw onto the face of the man. As she bit down the flesh of the face voraciously, ripping and tearing away at his pretty bad boy face(77 damage), she crushed at the same time both the arms of the man, reducing the bone to dust, and crushing the muscle with so much strength that both his arms would implode(65 damage per arms=130 damage), severing and falling off the rest of the body, and killing him instantly. As the man succumbed to his injuries and screamed in pain and agony, Isomo feasted upon his head, ripping trough his lower face, and into his neck, until his head was only half attached to his body, stoping only when her whole face and torso was covered in the blood of the dead man.

Arrival.

The male had stepped off of the boat in the the enriched soil of a new environment. Fortunately for him this had been a great new experience. Hoori had been over the world as a mercenary and now a member of a cool little group, he had also found a family. As he walked among the new expanse of land he would rest his sword against his back carefully strapping the sheathed weapon against the fabrics of his clothing and embarked off. Not before leaving completely he would call back to his crewmate to let them know," I'll be heading out first I'm sure you will be able to keep a watchful eye as a just in case but I am fairly certain nothing will happen," he knew that would be a lie but one could hope. He kept a decent pace as he walked looking around at the sights but more so looking for any signs of life. He had not known or rather heard too much about these lands and that made him question whether or not dangers this place would bring to him or the crew.

Because of that he kept his senses sharp and his head on a swivel. As he walked and got closer to what he believed to be civilization or maybe a temple he would begin to see two figures. One seemed to be looking at the temple and the other looking as if they were sneaking up behind them. For a moment he would remain where he had been 20 meters away silent in his steps and movements. A part of him wanted to watch the display and see what would happen but the eyes of the Ametsuchi could tell that this would probably end in a bloodbath. Well time to play third party.. Taking in a deep breath he would draw his right hand back as he stretched out his left hand, specifically his index and ring finger. Between the two points a bow would form 167 cm in total length. As his right hand pulled back an arrow would begin to form a single arrow 3 inches long, a shaft that is up to 40 inches long. As the arrow was fired at its target (Isomo) it would split into 5 arrows with the same dimensions as its parent arrow all heading toward the dark clothed person. Each arrow would fly with the quickest of speeds (125) and aim to strike the unknown person in key parts. 2 of the arrows would aim for the back right near the beginning of their spine and the 2nd aiming for the back of their head directly. The other three would aim for both of his legs and where the heart would be located aiming to pierce directly through it. He would of course keep his technique activated just in case he needed to make any last minute adjustments. The best thing about being an archer was that his attacks were always silent, and always deadly. The eyes of the Ametsuchi would watch and wait for whatever would happen next. Given his location the person would find it difficult to discern where the arrows were coming due to their silence, but anything could happen.

The hunt has now begun.

How dare this fated thread of her’s go against Kana in so many ways. It was as if she had been beckoned into some sort of ambush.

Lilina's soft grumble could be heard within her thoughts, as the Hyena once again warned the Kyuketsuki.

"There are more approaching. Two others to be specific." The Hyena was able to exchange the information and soon as the other two parties closed within range of her senses.

Not only that, but Kana could hear the voice of one that followed the opening of the temple doors. The voice echoed off the hollow, dark walls and she could make out some of the words.

The conversation did not sound like a friendly one.

Kana had to act quickly, it seemed that things were about to get nasty. She wasn't dumb enough to want to get involved, if she was able to avoid it. Her hands wove, forming specific signs that matched for the technique she had in mind.

In response, the skies grew even darker, smothering out most of the rays of the dying sun. Leaving just a hint of lighting as the sun refused to disappear altogether. The atmosphere darkened in union to the drastic events that threatened to take place.

But there was peace in this said darkness.

A soft hum with the combination of pitter patters could be heard as rain fell from the sky. Showering upon all that was outside the temple, 30 meters diameter from the temple's entrance. If she was to get out, it would have to be by the entrance.

Kana closed her eyes for a mere moment, feeding in the information obtained by Lilina, who now was into hiding herself. The Hyena had taken the action to envelope herself into her own camouflage at the very moment she had witnessed the approach of the other two persons.

Her Hyena made it clear that one had the intent to approach by attacking.

Kana swiftly went towards the entrance, her plan was to drift past the two at the entrance by keeping close to the temple's wall. Her candle had been left behind at the statue, and Kana relied on the fairly dim light provided by the entrance itself. More or less the other two would be distracted by their own interaction. She would be able to make it into the rain and blend in.

She no longer had any interest of being in this damned place.  [Attempting Exit]

Notes:

As Isomo grabbed the man with a extremely more strong grip than he could escape, planning to kill him in the following seconds, she paused for a moment. Nothing was out of the ordinary, and she trully felt like she was alone with the man, aside maybe someone or more inside the temple, but they would be out of reach. Little did she knew, someone was actually sneaking up on her too, in the same way she snuck up on the man. As he approached and shot arrows towards the Tau missing-nin, Isomo heard the sound of the arrows split the air and flowing towards her. With the direction of the sound, she knew from where they were comming, but still didnt hear a single step of sound comming from the shooter of the projectiles.

In an act of protection and to do what she had planed with the man, she swiftly shifted place with him, moving in a 1m rotation (at 25 speed), and by her grabbing the man, forcing him to move also 1m too, and in a way that she used him as a human shield, positionning his body to catch the arrows in her stead. If the man she held was to survive, Isomo would still crush him like intended, imploding his arms and killing him, securing the body as planed for her ascension as immortal. As another way of preventing her demise, Isomo, in conjunction with taking total cover behind the body of her victim, moved her heart inside of her body, puting it in her pelvic region, protected by the bones of her pelvis, deep withing herself.

As the arrows made their way to the grabbed human shield, and Isomo reacting accordingly afterwards, she would turn her head toward the direction the arrows flew from, and looking everywhere, until she spotted the man, 20m from her and the now dead corpse she holded still with a strong grip. Wanting to save herself like the roach she was, she was ready to offer anything in exchange for the ceassing of the hostilities. ''STOP, I'm not looking to fight you, I only needed to feed! I'm of no value, I am but a poor wanderer and scavenger, and am worth nothing dead, as my organs will only turn to dust and not convey a single power! This freshly killed boy tho, is valuable! I only need the heart and envelope, the dead body, even if empty! I give you every organs inside as tribute for my life, even the eyes, if they are worth something like those Konoha clan's eyes are.''  said Isomo in a loud voice, wanting to survive above all else. As they were looking at each other waiting for the reply of each party, Isomo large tongue was licking the blood of the dead man, trying to see if the blood tasted any familiar and if she could determine what clan or bloodline this man belonged to.

The distance of the two was a small gap. but the speed was blinding. However through either sheer luck or destiny defined by the Gods themselves they were able to turn around just in the nick of time, but alas there was something the person had forgotten. Spacing between the bodies. While he would admit that using the body as a shield was a smart idea what was not smart was not holding the body in a way that would offer spacing between the shield and the shielded. The arrows unfortunately would pierce through the Uchiha borne, impaling them but perhaps in a turn of irony the arrows would find their way into the flesh of its murderer. Isomo would find that even though they held the body, without adequate spacing they would also feel the stinging of the arrows cutting through their body. Isomo would find that their reserves would slowly be drained, in addition to having arrows riddled through them and the deceased body. Pinned together he would hear their words although they would likely be between screams but at this point he did not care. Leaning slightly to the right no more than a couple of inches he would be able to see a body coming out of the temple, but more specifically he would be able to see the swirling mass of blue chakra emanating from them. Attempting to use some sort of water based technique probably. A small sound would escape from his lips as he infused an arrow into the bow itself and aimed upward about 1 meter, judging the distance and releasing the arrow at its full speed (125) aiming to pierce through her left leg directly in her thigh. The arrow would be aimed and targeted for the female leaving the temple in an attempt to escape. He wasn't going to allow anyone to leave, not until he obtained that which he had wanted from these lands.

His initial problem would still be within his eyesight and as his head lowered for a moment he would finally respond to Isomo," Didn't ask. Didn't care. What I do care about however is the body you have and probably your life if you make another movement I don't like. Or if I deem you a waste of my general space. Anyways," he would raise his voice to where the other person could hear him," IF I WERE YOU? I'D STOP BEFORE YOU FIND THE NEXT ARROW ENDS YOUR LIFE. GET OVER HERE," he was never a bully, but in this dog eat dog world one had to get it where he could regardless of what he would be called later.

She passed through the foliage, further familiarizing herself with the Temple and its surrounding area - pausing every so often to gain full access to the activated Byakugan; granting a scope of a mile. This was common enough practice, like a deer halting to assess her surroundings, but instead of assessing what to flee from she assessed where potential intruders might be.

With the influx of activity she kept vigilant - which led to her spotting the familiar tendrils mascaring an unfamiliar male, and Kana Mi. She watched the two for a moment before pulling back content until she noted the hidden man 20 meters back, conjuring a bow and taking aim at the two women. Keeping her fixed on the archer she would begin weaving two sets of hand signs, one for Fuuinjutsu Amplifier [+50] and the other Absorption Seal [155 Power] which is immediately placed on her hip. Breaking her gaze she begins moving at full speed running through the next set of seals for Seal of Redirection placing it on the opposite hip and finishing the seals for Wood Clone Technique creating a single clone.

There was an 80 meter distance between her and the archer - in wandering close to the temple he had thoroughly landlocked himself for 100 meters in every direction at least. The Wood clone would take an indirect route to Kana Mi - forming her own hand seals for Wood Human Technique [100 Speed 100 Power 100 Health] once the creature was formed the clone would immediately leap onto it’s back  tethering it to her with a wooden rope. Moving at full speed to position itself behind the temple entrance - closest to Kana and furthest from the man. Moving around the group in an arch maintaining 60 meters distance from the archer at all times until it was behind Kana and turned in sharply and B-lining it for her. Since the construct was not visible from the tree tops it moved stealthy enough for something it’s size and did not cause a large commotion. The second she reached within 10 meters of Kana she dismounted the Wooden Human forming the seals with both hands waiting to release Rainbow Fort Seal [100 power 100 Speed] as she slipped closer.With her small form moving through the familiar temple ruins she was able to sneak up on Kana and reach her hand around the edge of a window archway - erecting a faintly shimmering shield and instructed Kana in a stern but calm voice, “Get on it, let's go home.” Of course referring to the wooden creature that stood about half as tall as the tree and held it’s hand palm up waiting for them.

Though she was hidden from view she was watching him all the same with the use of Byakugan - at a distance of 30 meters he was out of ear shot.

While the clone moved Mizu formed two more sets of hand seals in quick succession - one for Ninjutsu Amplifier[+50] and the following for Kanzeon Lotus King [200 power Main Hands and Laser, 150 speed, 150 health - Back Hands 150 power]. The massive human avatar manifested from wood rose into being beneath her feet raising her 50 Meters into the air and moving to be roughly 55 meters from the archer. If he had exceptional eyes he might just notice the thin woman perched atop the statue’s head, wearing a tight fit black jumpsuit and a flowing kimono loosely tied at the waist;  watching him with a disgusted expression.
