The Sword and the Swordsman

Roy Goka has finally found his place in his new home. The village had done his part in making sure the new swordsman ninja was given a place to live, learn, train, grow, and help. The first couple of months were hard for the new genin. His home was a hostel, his didn't have any friends, and he really didn't know where to go from there.

However, after running a few missions with some other new genin, things were starting to look up. He got some money, made his way into the ninja quarters, and started to become a part of the Hoshigakure community. However, a few weeks ago Roy got sick with a mysterious illness, one that left him bed ridden for several weeks, and unable to complete the various tasks required of him as a ninja.

Now recovered, Roy was planning to meet one of his new friends for a day of learning, growth, and ultimately to find somebody to teach roy how to use, make, and repair armaments.

Standing inside the square, Roy would sit on a fountain and watch the clouds and people roll by, waiting for his companion today to arrive.

"Shit", was the first thing that had crossed Ciels mind as he awoke from bed. Today he was supposed to be meeting a friend and fellow shinobi in the village to hang out but just like always he slept for too long. It wasn't always like this for Ciel but as of late its been like hes in some sort of trance once he falls asleep because nothing seems to be able to wake him up unless physical contact is made and the last thing he wanted was to have some sort of contraption wake him up violently every morning.

He quickly arose from his bed and made his way to the bathroom to make sure he brushed his teeht and took his morning piss. It didnt take him long to get dress once he was done brushing his teeth, so quickly made his way out the door afterward. "I hope Roy hasn't been waiting too long, I hate making others wait on me", he would think to himself as quickly jumped from rooftop to rooftop trying his hardest to get there quickly. after a few more minutes he would start to see Roy standing in the middle of the square waiting for him, with a large grin he would call out "ROY, OVER HERE".

He would then take a considerable jump off the building and would land a few meters away from Roy. He would dust himself off and then make his way over to his friend, "Hey there buddy sorry for the long wait, whats on the agenda for the day my friend", he would say with a smile as he extended his hand for a shake.

Rembering he left his stove on he would wish Roy a good day and return home. it didnt take him long to return home and once he did he quickly turned the oven off. For some reason he was tired and decided it would be best to take a nap.

Roy would quickly see Ciel walk towards the fountain, eager to learn more about the ways of Hoshigakure from another ninja, but soon his smile would turn to a somber tone as Ciel quickly turned around and ran back from whence he came. Through the hustle and bustle of the streets he thought he heard something about a stove being left on, at which point the swordsman understood the sudden change, nodded, and walked towards his next task for the day. Roy was busy today with other work to be done so he just decided it would be best to just plan to meet for another day.
