There had been an abrupt shift in the dynamic of the village but even then work had to be done. Word had gotten out that the elusive pirate Zack Carrow had been recently seen in the outer areas of the village just close to the edge of the storm wall. The outer islands did not have the protection that the village did so the Chuunin had taken the opportunity to go out and deal with the pirate menace once and for all. Wearing his usual day to day outfit minus his Kiri headband he ran along the water's surface using the most basic academy technique toward the island as fast as he could. His steps despite running on water were silent. Eyes were narrowed as the island itself came into view and he could already see the ship and its flag. He had already had a plan of attack to assure that he could finish this without much of a fight but even then he wasn't cocky enough to just believe he could do this unscathed. As he reared 5m from the ships stem (behind) he would faintly whistle 5 notes before sticking his hand into the water and releasing his chakra into it. From the action, three of the sharks would begin to swim under the boat in a circle until a vortex 10m in diameter would form under the boat at 65 speed to pull the boat into it and under the briny deep. Lie Rin himself would watch as the plan unfurled and once Zack popped up he would begin the true fight.

Tommy Sinns; Brother of Johnny; Zack's First Mate:

As Zack docked the minor vessel (7 meters from deck to water surface, ship is 10 meters long and 6 meters wide) which previously parted the waves of the sea, none other than Tommy Sinns stood adjacent to him. Though originally from Kumogakure, he had recently joined up with a group of pirates with the intent on causing mischief. Ever since his brother had fallen in combat, he had been filled with anger. And so what better way than to take it out on a group of unsuspecting villagers? The first mate bore a pair of binoculars, which he had used to scout out the sea as the band of thieves sailed. It had been an opportunistic time for the group to approach Kirigakure, as recently its famed storm barrier had fallen. Whatever the reason, it was more than enough to justify this group of bandits to threaten it. And as the Meijin man looked through the lenses, he easily spotted a figure off in the distance about 30 meters North of their current position (note: the front of the ship is facing East). The brightness of the day offered plenty of daylight to see the man from their elevated vantage point, and upon closer observation Tommy was able to make out the shinobi's movements. Oddly enough, Lie Rin Law appeared to be swimming within the ocean at a slow place (speed of 10) and with a trajectory potentially aimed to sneak up on the ship's rear (exactly diagonal, from North to West). From this distance, there had been plenty of time for the two to devise a plan before this approaching shinobi would be of threat. 

"Captain, it seems like we have company."

"Oh?" Zack said as he grabbed ahold of the binoculars. "I know that guy..." he let out with a heavy sigh. "Deal with this one for me, will you?"

"With pleasure," Tommy would let out, as he'd vault over the side of the ship while keeping his feet firmly planted on its side. He'd do this once Lie Rin Law was 20 meters from the ship's stern (again, exactly diagonal. note that Tommy is standing in the middle of the ship on its deck) and he'd use his surface walking technique to descend from the Southern side of the ship, obscuring his cover so that the chunin would not see his movements. As he continued down until his footsteps met the surface of the water and he stood upon it firmly. Because of the difference in speed between Lie Rin and himself, Tommy would have traveled 10 meters (3 meters from mid to side of ship + 7 meters from deck to water surface) in the time it took Lie Rin to travel 1 meter towards the ship's stern (19 meters away). 

At this same difference of speed, Tommy would move West 5 meters and post up here hiding behind the ship's cover until Lie Rin was exactly 15 meters from the ship's rear and from Tommy himself. And once Lie Rin was this distance away, Tommy used his left hand to form the necessary hand seals for the A rank version of his Genjutsu Frogging technique. Upon completing the seals and since Lie Rin was making contact with the ocean's water (meeting fluid contact requirement), the frogging jutsu would commence with 4, 2 inch long frogs forming on Lie Rin's exposed face: two positioned on his left eye, two positioned on his right eye. They'd block his vision of the ship, thwarting any future attempt at approaching the ship and casting a technique to attack it or Tommy himself. If Lie Rin stopped to react, Tommy would observe and respond accordingly while peeking past the side of the ship.

If Lie Rin continued to blindly cast his Five Feeding Sharks, then Tommy would use his right hand to form the hand seals for chidori senbon and upon completion would step out from the ship's cover, simultaneously swinging his arm along the trajectory of where the sharks that Lie Rin created would be swimming towards. The 50 senbon would be aimed to intercept and neutralize the sharks before they could get in position of the ship, but aimed to not hit Lie Rin.

And so as the slow swimming shinobi looked to sneak up on the vessel, Tommy would successfully sneak the chunin. As planned, his genjutsu landed which would obscue Lie Rin's vision. Resultantly it interrupted any potential attack that Lie Rin would have issued towards the ship, keeping it and its crew unscathed. However, noticing that he had successfully landed his genjutsu he'd continue to capitalize on the opportunity he opened up for himself. And so, he'd utilize his chidori senbon technique as previously described. However since there were no water sharks for him to target, he'd instead slightly adjust the trajectory of his swing so that the chidori senbon would collide with the swimming Lie Rin instead. 

Right after this, he'd sense it was time for the kill. Thus in the blink of an eye, he'd activate his Meijin's Embodiment technique to enhance his Vigor and Chakra stat fields by 80 each. Immediately following that, he'd rifle through the four hand seals required for Thunder Burst Dragon. In a flash he'd be coated with a cloak of lightning chakra, which took on the formation of a mighty dragon's head (2 meters in diameter). Right as its formation was finalized, Tommy would lunge his right fist forward to hurl the vicious dragon to lunge right at Lie Rin, revealing the dragon's 25 meter long body in the process. If the dragon indeed reached Lie Rin's position, it would open its mouth and engulf Lie Rin in an electrifying devastation. 

But at the same time as he ran through Thunder Burst Dragon's hand seals with his right hand, his left hand would be active too. He'd perform the eight hand seals for Lightning Creation: Thunderhawk. The difference in time it took to complete the two sets of seals would allow for better synchronicity of the two: where the Thunder Dragon's Cloak was used to create the Thunderhawk. The hawk (3m wingspan x 1m length) would be assigned Lie Rin's body as a target, flying just behind the Thunder Burst Dragon's head towards the poor chunin. It would be timed to collide with Lie Rin just after the head of the dragon would.

And should this happen, the chunin would be subject to damage at jutsu power from both the dragon and the hawk, and that would be so extensive that his entire body would be fried so that he was reduced to ash. Tommy was confident that it would be the chunin's end, and he'd gain praise from Zack Sparrow for handling the threat like he demanded.

The dragon then the hawk would collide into the body of the blinded Chunin. And just as quickly as Tommy had detected the threat, he'd neutralize it as well. Confirmation of this came when the dragon and hawk would each crash into Lie Rin Law, erupting into an electric explosion of chakra which electrocuted the chunin to death. The voltage of the combined jutsu had been so grand that Lie Rin's entire body would be reduced to nothing more than ash. When the dust faded, the ash from Lie Rin would disperse through the rough waves of the sea and scatter his cremated remains throughout the water. Tommy would watch it all happen, and not feel an ounce of remorse or sympathy from the fallen shinobi. Following this, he'd proceed up to the top of the ship using his surface walking technique and subsequently cancel all of his active jutsu. He'd stand before Captain Zack who had been watching the ordeal. No words were exchanged, but instead a silent nod of solidarity was exchanged, both men recognizing that the threat was vanquished and it was time to move on.
