January 11th…

The sun soared over the Land of Rice, its gentle flair marking the start of the endgame for Satoru Jugo. He lived a passionate life, rising from a feeble, young, and thoughtless individual to a powerful and self-assured Shinobi. He wasn’t without his struggles, his body peppered with burns, scars and tattoos from his past. The sun rose very quickly, and the Jugo – hunched, cane in hand, slowly made his way towards the Rice Village.

The hunched male substantially decreased his 6ft 7 stature, he appeared elderly with his gentle but rhythmic walk. His body was hidden away by the likes of a jet-black cloak; his head and hair don a jet-black ski mask that concealed his hair in its fullness. He sported a renowned Infinite Ring on his left pinkie which would prevent anyone from being able to remember his chakra signature. Likewise, he wore the Ember mask, a metallic mask that moved with the users’ facial expressions and rhetoric. It was armed with a voice modulator that distorted the projection of the users voice, sounding more metallic and hollow-esque. The mask didn’t block nor prevent any form of ocular abilities. On the contrary, he still retained full ocular range while wearing the mask.

He made his way, slow and methodical to not arise any suspicion; it wasn’t long before he reached within 20 meters of the entrance to the fabled Rice Village where he came to a complete stop. Exactly 20 meters away, he could see the entrance clearly – likewise, those at the entrance could see him as clearly as day. He didn’t move any further, he was positioned on the tactically beneficial side of the gate, outside of the Interdiction Seals that surrounded the vast perimeter of the Rice Village.

His eyes briefly lit up as he looked upon the baren gates. The sun persisted, its piercing rays forcing perspiration on the cloak-wearing Jugo. Motionless, his right hand – concealed by his oversized cloak formed 4 hand seals as he straightened his posture, his bass-heavy artificially sounding voice instantly reverberated through the plaza as he addressed everyone listening.

His body rose to an astounding height of 6ft 7, his hood fell back to expose his balaclava, and the wind pressure around his body began building, forming a dense cube around him 10 meters in length, width, and height. The compressed air was harmless and to a common observer would look to be nothing more than dramatics and yet it would expand at a speed of 90, rapidly approaching the gates of the village to further add to the theatrics.

Satoru was fortunate enough to have met, trained, and lived with some of the most accomplished Shinobi to have ever lived. Reading tales of Aokidanzas success within the Fire Country and seeing his brother-in-arms ascend to the rank of Raikage instilled a unique desire to forge a new path, a new history, and a new destiny under a new identity.

“I am Saijin Uchiha – I have arrived to conquer the Rice Country.”

With the passing of the initial statement, the crimson orb in his left eye activated in tandem with the Display of Power. Anyone intent on challenging the Jugo would be able to observe his overwhelming presence first-hand.

“However.” His voice grew louder. “I am willing to accept a peaceful surrender. I give a warrior's word that not a soul will be harmed…” he paused, allowing a moment for his words to be digested by the onlookers.

“But heed my warning – if the notion of taking up arms has the AUDACITY to permeate your minds then I… WILL slaughter every man, woman and child in this village.” his eye continued to glow, and yet his facial expression remained neutral. He wasn’t a monster but the aura he was emanating was akin to that of one. His eyes wandered as he observed the expressions of all visible spectators. Perhaps some thought that this was a prank, perhaps his threats were taken seriously – in all instances, there were three clear-cut options, fight, flight or surrender.

Dai Cho ran to the individual.

"We surrender", she said, purposely looking away, without her bloodline active. Arms were raised, even as she fell to her knees.

Too much had happened. Would happen.

There was no fight left in the village of Tanbogakure. Not, at least, to the best of Dai Cho's understanding. If others choose to fight, that was their choice.

4ft 9. The rough height of the girl dashing in the giant’s direction. She ran at a staggering speed of 130, instantly catching Satoru by surprise. This girl was clearly no mere civilian, she gapped a lot of powerful, trained Shinobi in terms of speed. Despite her words of surrender, Satoru couldn’t help but remain on guard.

He remained stationary, the young girls arms were raised and defenceless as she made her way towards the Jugo – he allowed her to cover 2 meters prior to issuing instructions. With a loud boom of his modulator, he commanded –

“Stop there girl. Take as much as another step and I WILL accept this as an act of defiance.”

His tone was bass heavy, cold and direct. This was going to play out one of two ways. Either the girl was going to stop, or she would continue running towards the Jugo. If the girl stopped – Satoru would continue – “Summon your village leader. I refuse to acknowledge a surrender from anyone else.” This would be the most optimal outcome for this specific situation.

If the girl did not stop then unfortunately Satoru would issue the following statement – “Very well...” with that passing statement, a chakra manifestation of his demonic aura would come to surround his body, augmenting his Vigor and Chakra abilities.

Bringing both of his hands together, he would then perform 6 hand seals, selecting a point exactly 15 meters between himself and the young woman. 3 meters ahead of the young girls’ path to the Jugo at the time of casting, expanding at a speed and power of 120, a black swamp would start to form – its cylindric aesthetic would come to spiral downwards with its powerful adhesive intent on trapping the girl if she continued her path towards the wannabee Uchiha. The Swamp would spread to 25 meters efficiently encompassing the village gates in its expansion radius. Naturally, the girl was fast enough to elude the Swamp, she had to make the decision to retreat or continue head-on and get caught in the Swamp of the Underworld.

As the Swamp neared the Jugo, he would activate the Surface Walking technique, standing on top of the descending Swamp – simply remaining on top of the technique, not impacted by the function.

The girl stopped, dropping to her knees 20 meters away which stopped Satorus offensive actions. Her actions were thereby accepting the surrender demanded by the Jugo. With no one else stepping forward, Satoru accepted the victory under the guise of Saijin Uchiha. He now ordered the girl – “Stand up and go back inside. I accept the surrender of your people.”

He would stand there, watching the girl as she made her way back inside the village. “This was easy.” he thought to himself. The overwhelming presence persisted.

Requesting rules clarification.

48 hour rule still applies, yes, but rules state such:

The 48-hour rule still applies in these topics; the only exception is the week grace period before claiming victory.

I may have misread, but my interpretation of that was that victory cannot be claimed without a week wait, though posts can still be 48 houred.

Missed some claims that I’d like approved in line with this review if I am in the right that is.

Additionally claiming an entire lockdown on the Tanbogakure Vault, so no one else can access it.
Also claiming a lockdown on Okada Castle or w/e it’s called.

Additionally, I'd like my previous post to be accepted with the [Exit] clause if this is approved in line with the review.

If the first claims are approved, I can't see any reason to try to deny these new claims.

Just making sure they don't go backwards in time and affect topics that started before Satoru was even in Rice country ^^
