Akabayashi had to verify the location of the village like the two captured ninja had told him. So he sent his path. The real Akabayashi stood just inside the perimeter of the interdiction seals, so that his path could call him at a moments notice. The doctor always surveyed the flat land around him for anything odd with his active Rinnegan and Jashigan. The two ninja from this are la were with him as well.

The path would find the location as described it had fences and... Is that a dead body?!?! It was a dead body missing a head. The path would get closer and inspect the headless male. It was a Tau for sure that make up of strings easily identifiable the hearts within would be valuable to Akabayashi. It did not look like there was much of a fight, but clearly this person attacked this villages gates. Were the two people he captured desserters fleeing from this attacker? Question's the doctor would be sure to ask.

I do not disagree to you wanting to interrupt as long as it is done within 48 hours from when I posted originally.

Rin and her LC’s arrived at the scene far too late to do anything helpful, an unfortunate side effect of the villages rudimentary communication methods. She would no doubt have a rather stern conversation with emi later on once she had found out just how much of the village treasury she had handed over, but for now she had arrived to collect the body of their slain ‘attacker’ only to find it missing. Letting loose a messenger bird from among some nearby she waited a short moment for dai cho to arrive, giving them a quick set of orders and a slight scolding for leaving the gate unattended before, frowning slightly she looked around, finding evidence of another party’s tracks which she followed cautiously
