Hidden Gardens

Mission Details:

Ise had sat at the village gate, awaiting the arrival of his mission partner. According to the report that he had gotten in the mail this morning, he was tasked with yet another covert mission. Isemori, along with his partner, was tasked with collecting a very particular flower - ghost roses, if he remembered correctly. Apparently, they did not want outsiders to know the whereabouts of the flowers, and due to them being useful in terms of making antidotes for poisons, it was decided that the mission group would be small. Not only that, but it would take time to traverse the desert to reach their destination.

Isemori also had only been outside the village at least twice; not having much experience in regards to taking on missions that were outside of his home. He had a feeling though that perhaps his partner would possibly know more about being outside the village. Ise understood that with this mission also came a learning experience, and had decided that whoever his partner was, they would be in charge. “Where is my mission partner at anyway?” The silver-haired Uchiha thought to himself, looking back towards the gate to see if anyone that he possibly knew was coming his way. It wasn’t that he didn’t mind him being late or anything, but rather that it felt weird to him to be the one on time. Usually, Isemori was almost late for practically everything. Sometimes it was a miracle that he got himself out of bed in the morning.

He had to do this again? This was the third time he had to go out for that same damn flower. He understood how important that flower was, and he thought he brought enough samples back for the botanists to figure out how to cultivate and grow it under a controlled environment. Seemed not, but then Hoshi had bigger issues and concerns than one flower. So he had to do it again. This made Zeo drag his feet. He had more pressing issues and concerns, but orders were orders. He at least had a way know of going to the same place faster.

If any luck, there would be easier to do a third time as he approached the gate of the village-- where he found a familiar face. Ise was there, waiting impatiently as Zeo approached. He gave a wave, but it seemed he didn't see him.

"Um, hi there, sorry to keep you waiting. " Zeo greeted.

He wasn't expecting Ise to be the other partner to run with to get the flower. However, he did want to get to know the Uchiha better from their first brief encounters. He wanted to understand him better than he had and probably his opinion would differ. At least now, despite the annoyance of repeating a mission for the THIRD time-- he had a far speedier way to get to the edge of the desert and back to retrieve the sample.
