Placing a Seal

Winter was surely living up to it's name. Cold fronts have been moving in non-stop recently, and the overall climate was beginning to change once more. It would inevitably last this way until the following spring, which was rather unfortunate. With the cold and the passing of the seasons, the few trees which had taken root along the mountainsides were also fully changed by this point. The leaves were no more. Fell down during the fall to leave them barren. It was kind of sad, but that was the way that things were. Always have been, always will be.

The same could be said for Hiroki Shimada. Although within the last few months he's changed exponentially, mainly in a surge of growing power which he was now beginning to yearn for, there was still some old habits which died hard. One of these was the constant need to keep busy. Whether it was just being up to some mischievous fun or actual training, there was always something to do in his eyes. Even if it was a small, simple task, the boy would manage to do it...eventually, and most likely with more than a few complaints along the way. Someone could tell if something was wrong if the genin wasn't actually doing anything.

Luckily for the naturally dark haired teen, today would be relatively simple and easy. Light work. Placing a simple seal was all that he found necessary to do, at least for now. And then he would be able to have his fun. So, not seeing the point in waiting, he immediately got to it. Knowing it would be quick, he dropped in the nearest training area and went to the center of which. From there, Roki sat down upon the frozen ground, coated with a very thin layer of snow. One hand moved, forming some seals, and that same hand was placed upon his forehead. A small, teal diamond shape was formed there as he successfully created a seal of protection to be used at a later date. Just like that, the current necessary thing on his checklist could be crossed off, and he was on to the next!
