  It was early morning in Island country and unable to contain his excitement; Takezo was already up and dressed. He had barley slept through the night in anticipation for what the day would bring. Today he would make his way to the mission area to accept his first mission as a hidden mist shinobi. Getting his early morning stretches out of the way he made his way out the door.

 Running through the village he quickly made his way to the mission area to choose his mission. 'Better start with an E rank, i am by myself, and besides i could definitely use the training' he thought to himself. Looking at only the E ranked missions; one immediately caught his eye. Lost Cat the mission log read, cat requires its annual check up. The client is a noble of Kiri please find immediately, the address of the noble along with a brief description of the cat and the mission reward of 1000 ryo was all it read.

 Suspecting that the cat would be hiding somewhere near its home, which wasn't to far from the mission area, Takezo headed that way. Quickly arriving to the near by given address he found a very large multiple storied estate looking nothing like any of the near by villagers homes. One thing was certain, with a home a nice as this one that cat couldn't be very far. Probably just scared to get its check up an went off to hide somewhere. And with all of this land to cover searching for it might prove to be a big waste of his time he thought.

 Perhaps it would be a better idea to try an flush the cat out, in order to make it reveal its location on its own an thus doing the hard part for him. Scrambling his brain to think of the best ways to attract a cat, he came up with a couple of ideas. He could either transform into something the cat would like to eat like a cat dish bowl or maybe a 'dead' fish. Or he could transform into a 'wounded' bird thus giving him some mobility rather then just sitting around and waiting. Deciding the latter would be the best strategy he went ahead with the transformation.

 Now in the form of a wounded bird he began to hop around the outside of the estate along the crawl space of the house. Doing his best bird chirping impersonation along the way. After about 30 minutes an three or four laps around the property just when Takezo was about to give up an try a different strategy, he saw a slight flicker of movement coming from the crawl space of the house. In an instant the cat dashed out from its hiding hole and darted towards him claws bared. Sinking them into him he released the transformation jutsu now back in his original form. With the cats claws still in his arm he grabbed it around the back of its neck securing it safely an walked it up to the front of the house and knocked on the door. The noble lady's assistant answered an Takezo handed her the cat. Job well done, he had received a few scratches for his work but that was nothing 1000 ryo couldn't cure.
