Traveling to Haven Country

Around midday, the ashen-haired Raleth leaves the Monkey's Uncle, the tea shop he owns located in the south eastern district of Sungakure, and pulls a loaded cart. Surrounded by the aroma of fruit, herbs, and tea, wearing a wide-brimmed straw hat and smoking his wood and jade-engraved pipe, he greet those he passes by with a neighborly Yo! The look of the bright kimono wearing shinoni, and the demeanor of the immense Sarutobi, would cause those to smile back. And, the lulling scent of his cart, the tools to craft the wares of the Monkey's Uncle, would improve the mood of those he passes. Raleth is having a wonderful day and wishes to share such a feeling with those around him.

Many thoughts whirl around Raleth's mind as he hauls his cart to the gates of Suna, his excitement can barely be contained.

To once again participate in the Exams, to see the youth and potential future of the world...the possibilities are exhilarating. What will be displayed? What powers will be unveiled? I hope to be surprised.

A proud thought makes Raleth smirk.

None are prepared for the might of sungakure, mor the ingenuity of Page, nor the capriciousness of Kagsuragi.

As he passes the main gate, he gives a hearty nod to Han, the wizened shinobi. The old man waves, and wishes the tea seller good luck in Hoshigakure.

Raleth waits at the main gate , and looks to the sun to check the time.

Strange...he's normally early.


A horse drawn cart, bearing the symbol of the Traders, pulls up to the gate of suna. A dreary eyed, gold toothed man holds the reigns, he eyes Raleth as the Sarutob comes up to his carriage.

"Don't touch the 'orses" says the rough toned individual. He extends his hand, waiting for the carriage ride that will make this journey through wind country worth it.

Raleth pays the man 5000 ryo and begins loading the carriage with his luggage, ninja tools, and business wares. As he does, he friend and rival, Zaine Uchiha, would come up to the gate. The two would exchange words, and more than likely fence around their expectations for the exam, and their respective students. If the Kazekage was inclined, she would come to the gate at this point. Raleth would bow his head, and exchange a few words with her, and findfind hr expectations for the Exams. When all is settled, Raleth would hop in the cart with the others, and travel to Haven Country, to Hoshigakure.

Zaine was there, Raleths carriage was very well put together and it seemed he had lofty plans to make a quick buck in the village of Hoshigakure. While planning to spend the majority of his time with Mizuki, Raleth and his apprentice Souji he also had plans to begin his own project. After speaking with Raleth a bit he would lean back in the carriage and close his eyes for the ride to Hoshigakure.
