Creation Test(Bernie and Kazushi)

Walking from his previous destination, Kizmaru headed back to the mission board to take on another job. Walking into the office, he greeted the same receptionist he met earlier when he took on the role as tour guide. This time, he as called in, in order to try out new creations the tech lab had invented. He was to be escorted to a testing stage along with two other genin level shinobi in order to see if the creations are viable for everyday use or for combative means. Kizmaru and the other Genin that were suppose to show up would be testing mainly combative creations and maybe even some recreational items. Nodding his head, Kizmaru was taken further into the building to the waiting area where he would wait for the other two that were suppose to show up to,you know, show up. If he was lucky, they could knock this out quickly and move on. Although, he figured he would enjoy this kind of assignment since he had a pretty keen interest on making and using new weapons and armor. Looking around the stage, Kizmaru saw all sorts of devices and gadgets that he couldn't wait to try all filed behind a glass wall with a few chakra seals on it for protection. Before he could get any closer to examine it, a staff member of the research and development team told him he had to wait until the other two got around to arriving. Sighing in frustration, Kizmaru placed his hands into his pockets and back away from the display cases to wait for the others. Hopefully they would arrive soon since Kizmaru couldn't contain his anticipation and wanted to stat using the devices immediately. There was a certain sword he wanted to try out the wouldn't leave his eye at the moment.

The two had arrived, and had been prepared for the arrival of a third. They were no unaware that they would be handling this straight forward mission in a team of three, but they likely had no idea that they had actually shown up after Bernie. Much, much after Bernie. In fact, the older genin had showed up at the shop hours in advance. He had shown up and introduced himself, explaining why he was there and that they were expecting two others. "Well, since I'm already here, could you tell me about your thoughts on the current state of affairs for average, working-class citizens of Kirigakure who are not ninja like the rest of us?" His question was straight forward, but the passion in his aged eyes came through his words with the intensity of the sun. There was no one alive who could hear him speak and question his conviction, or question the integrity behind his words. He asked a question not just to be polite, but because he cared about the answer.

And the shop keep cared to answer.

What the owner of the store told Bernie was an intense tale of trials and tribulations. He spoke of how the citizens of Kiri were not benefiting from the war that was lining the pockets of rich ninja, and that they were tired of propping up the nation on their backs without any sort of returns that made them feel rewarded by their efforts. Reaching a hand forward, Bernie would pat the poor man on the shoulder and show him a grin of pearly whites that seemed to reflect heaven itself off their surface. "Worry not. I, too, am a citizen of Kirigakure who had worked long and hard before ever becoming a ninja. I know a thing or two about the struggle of the every day Island Country citizen. And I promise you, when I become Mizukage, there will be change that benefit all of us, and not just the one percent of ninja who climb to the top.

His words were genuine and heartfelt, and as his companions arrived, they all were able to swiftly test out the equipment that was required to be tested. It was another mission easily completed, and hopefully another heart swayed to the side of the people. To the side of Bernie Sandaru.

Well, it was time to get the party started. Kizmaru was a little irritated the third member of the party was actually there the whole time and didn't bother to mention to the rest of the group he would be here earlier. Well either way, all he wanted to do was test the creations and get out as soon as possible. Going forward with the other two, he found something that interested him and reached out to test it. It was special kind of vibrating sword that would slice through other metals with some sort of tech that was currently foreign to the likes of Kizmaru.  After testing and playing around with the creations, the mission was done and Kizmaru decided it was time for him to head out.
