The time was about 30 minutes before midnight as Hikari waited in her hotel room for Hoshigakure's newest chunnin to arrive. It had been a while since the Chunin exams had ended, but the Nova operative had been holding off returning to Hoshigakure for personal reasons. The maiden knew she needed to seek out Valen, and discus the events of the kage summit with him, but had been stricken by fear of what the Hogokage would tell her about his actions.

The blonde Kunochi would be dressed up in her formal attire, hair still braided into a crown and the excess being pulled into a pony tail that would go about half way down her back. While the little girl inside her loved getting dressed up like a princess everyday, the adult side of her had grown tired of the time it took to put on the excessive amount of makeup, and having to spend getting her hair presentable. She couldn't wait until she could get back to Hoshi where she wouldn't be required to doll up every day.

Hikari would place her hand on her telepathy seal she had with the Hogokage, and told him quickly that she was going to be heading home via portaling to him, and if he had a minute to step outside. She had already alerted Konoha that the Hoshi party would be reversed summoned back to Hoshigakure, so that they could remove the group from being inside Konoha. With that letter being sent out, Hikari would now just have to wait for the Uzumaki to show up, and the word for Valen that she could leave.

(Sorry, I wrote this post a dozen times but it kept getting lost in the shuffle of my work.)

It was time to head back home, though why it would be in the middle of the night was anybody’s guess. At the end of the day it didn’t matter, Masashi was just happy to be heading back to the village. He had did what he had set out to do, and that was good enough for him. There was going to be more work for him when they got back, but that was to be expected, what with him being a Chuunin now. He wore the Chuunin Flak vest under his coat for now, visible only to those that were standing in front of him.

He arrived at the meeting point a few minutes later; Hikari was already there. He would nod to the Deputy Kage as he approached. “Sorry about that, did a double check of my room to make sure I hadn’t left anything behind. Ready to head out?”

That was strange, Valen wasn't answering her calls. Was everything alright?

As the newest Genin of Hoshigakure would approach her, she would respond with a "Yes, lets get going, I have been away from the village for way to long."

With out knowing if she could portal to Valen safely, the Power of Hoshigakure would put her hand on the Uzumaki's back, and just telleport using Lux Athrena back to the village hidden in the stars.
