CE: Shinoskay vs Hayate vs Hato

(ooc: For the record, I have tried to talk to hato about this situation twice and the exact thread issue once, Hayate tried to talk to hato about the thread issue as well. please go to Here for the ooc battle mod conversation topic so we arent messing up the chuunin fight too much with ooc crap.

The small army of hooded figures that had attacked both himself and the girl so aggressively earlier halted, as if something was wrong. A brief pause and then, cloaks and panchos began to fall to the floor, as if no body supported them, until only one was left standing.

The figure that had remained still at the center of the action, strings and puppets and clones swirling around him, was now the only one of the identical figures to remain. It wavered, stumbling left, then right, then collapsed, though this one clearly still held a body under it.

Hayate, for the first time in a while, was truely unsure of what to do. Was it a trick? Was there trouble? Was there interference? Was this ninja poisoned, did he run out of chakra, or had some other thing happened to him? Or did he just meld into the ground, or prepare some trap or attack?

The young genin took a nervous step, then another, his body aching to just MOVE in the face of the unknown, to do SOMETHING. He glanced around, seeing if Hato had a similar experience, or if she was more clued in, but he couldn't spot her from his position.

The proctors, however, knew long before Hayate. They were already dashing in to the center, declaring the exam over. Whether they had immobilized and disqualified the masked figure, or simply realized what had happened to him before Hayate, it was now no longer his concern.

Before the action had even really started, it was over. Disappointed, the Blue Genin turned to leave, memories of the encounter already fading. Had the masked figures really ever been there at all?

Due to the fact nothing happened so far, Hato just waited with her jutsu still active to sense to the two male shinobis. However, the shinobi Shino had been frozen in place with massive amounts of chakra and removed. One proctor rushed over to her wall and announced that Shinoskay had been removed and that she passed to the next round. It had only been moments it seemed and the round was already over? What a shame.
