Delays for days

Shinoskay stood in the training grounds 11 area, in front of konoha's great will of fire momument, it was a bright day and the wind was temperate yet just enough to cool one from the suns heat. All around, as far as the eye can see, the area was surrounded by a thick edging of trees. The Monument had not been maintained since the invasion and this left it covered in dirt, leaves, and randomly growing weeds. Clearly, a relic of the past for any who bothered to come around this part of the village. Perhaps that was wrong, perhaps people just refused to come here because they couldnt face the shame of what their great village now stood for, what is Konoha if not for its will of fire?

Shinoskay was waiting for Tadashi, while staring at this stone relic, the boy was leaned over on one leg with a hand on the hip of the same side. His loose leg slowly swept across the overgrown grass and the boy entertained himself on the sounds of long since dried, crisp, fragile leaves trying and failing to fold from the pressure. The boy had grown a great deal since entering the village and he felt like he was starting to find his place but he could also tell that with all he was learning, that he kept finding ever more to learn, he was still so very far from even starting his real journey in life.

off to the right, the wind blew itself through the trees to make an almost low howl to forbode a coming rain, even if no clouds were visible yet it was obvious it would be their several hours later as night came.
