“Thank you, Mrs. Hokage, Ashi.” Ryu would say waving as best he could while being dragged out of the room by Salzem after he payed. “Thank you, too Sal.” It seemed his friend wasn’t in quite the talkative mood. Perhaps because his cheeks were too big, at least that’s what Ryu understood about him being cheeky.

Once, they arrived at the gates Salzem would start to speak. Yes, he wasn’t as mad as a minute ago. “I won’t I think I’m too good looking for prison anyway.” He would say thinking back on how the lady was hitting on him, while shaking his head again in attempt to get the cooties off.
Ryu would raise his hands as Salzem told him to be safe. The cuffs were still on, he wouldn’t be very safe if he was unable to use seals. “If you can take these off before I go, I have some things for you. They are seals. One is a barrier, another is more chakra, the last is a simple mark seal. I can summon you from anywhere with that.”


If Salzem accepted to be sealed, Ryu would begin by having him lower his arm to him and leave it exposed by removing any clothing from the extremity. “This will hurt a bit, as my fuinjutsu uses scorch to make them harder to remove.” Performing the seals for Phoenix Force, the boy’s chakra would extend to 190. He would then start to form seals for the Funinjutsu barrier. (power 120) The technique would take the form of a shield in a dehydrated mark on Salzem’s arm. The next would be the chakra storage seal. (power 80, Ap stored 160). The last would be the mark seal. A simple dot would be branded onto the ninja’s arm.

“To use any of them besides the mark seal all you have to do is think about it.” He would then tell his friend his plans. “I can’t really promise I’ll be safe. I’m probably heading back to my group then to kumo. I’d feel a lot better if you were there. I could teleport us out right now if you wanted.” Ryu would offer hoping the answer was a yes. If it wasn’t he would give his friend a hug before turning into a ball of light and teleporting back to the Hitsuyo Aku base.

Salzem removed the cuffs as his friend requested. When he offered to place a few seals on him, the first being the mark-seal, The lycan shook his head. He didn't want anything to do with Ryu's little group nor did he want to give him the ability to summon him whenever he chose... Especially after all this.

"No. Keep your seals Ryu. I have a duty here and I don't wish to be summoned out of nowhere and disappear, especially after I put my butt on the line to save yours." His decline seemed more like an accusation to his friend more than he intended but he didn't regret it a bit. "You would do well NOT to go to Kumogakure, Ryu. You'd be more likely to get killed there than here for busting our gates... Still... I can't stop you and I won't join you either. This is something you have to do without me if you have too at all."

Salzem froze as Ryu suddenly embraced him, without a word before suddenly transforming into a ball of light and disappearing. He stared up into the sky for a bit where the light shot off too before turning around and making his way back to the village. He thought he'd stop by the graveyard today... The birds were singing... flowers were blooming... It was a perfect day to sit with old friends... Because that just meant another darker day was coming and a new grave would dot that field.
