Training Clone Jutsu and taijutsu.

Hikaru woke up the next day. His exhaustion from the previous day had worn of and he was ready to train again. He ran to his new found training grounds at top speed. When he arrived he started doing his morning stretches. Hikaru wanted to try something new.  He had been practicing chakra control and speed training so what else was there? He sat down into a meditative position and thought back to the academy the last couple of days.

He was in the academy, reading through a scroll at the back of the class. A polite cough at the front of the class got everyone's attention. He gazed up slowly and looked at the teacher. "Class, remember the genin exams are in six months" he began "You will be tested in any two of the academy jutsu so you must learn them all!" the classroom groaned collectively before packing up their things and headed home.

Hikaru opened his eyes. He knew what he had to do. He brought his hands up into a familiar seal and whispered "Clone Jutsu." A puff of smoke appeared next to him. As he was waiting for the smoke to clear he saw that there was nothing in the smoke. He frowned, "Clone Jutsu." He whispered again. Once again he looked through the smoke to see nothing. He could feel his chakra ebbing away during the jutsu, why wasn't it working. He got up again, this time he would do the multiple hand seals. Ram-Snake-tiger "Clone jutsu!" he called out. Smoke appeared next to him and he peered inside, he could see a figure. As the smoke cleared he saw himself staring back at him only, it looked slightly off.

For the next couple of hours he cycled through the seals Ram-Snake-Tiger and found he was making solid progress. He couldn't make more than one clone for some reason. He stared back at the clone in front of him, what was he missing? He could feel his chakra splitting of to make a second clone but it never materialised. He tried again, slowly cycling through the seals. He closed his eyes and pictured two perfect replicas of himself. He built up enough chakra and whispered "Clone Jutsu" Two puffs of smoke appeared around him. When they dissipated he could see two clones of himself staring back at him. He smiled, he was becoming stronger.

Through the afternoon he continually made one more clone after the other until he found his limit of four clones. No matter how hard he tried he simply could not pass the limit. Next he wanted to try and deduct the number of hand seals he had to do. He had seen other ninja around the village do it so why couldn't he? He closed his eyes and brought his full attention to his charka. He put his hands in the first seal -Ram- and took note of how his chakra molded, he then repeated the process for each of the hand seals. He tried forcefully pushing his chakra in the direction he wanted but it wasn't complying, he could only slightly nudge it. He sighed, he had trained the hole day and he could only make four clones. He hoped four clones was enough to pass the exam, he wanted to start killing people soon.

The rest of his evening was spent improving his taijutsu and chakra control. Once again he swiftly flew through the clearing, this time utilizing his new found chakra control to improve his speed several times over. He smiled inwardly again, he was getting stronger. He dashed around the tree's striking them all in quick succession. He stopped, he was panting slightly. He picked himself up and began jogging slowly around the clearing, slowly increasing his speed as he did so. He wanted to find his limit. After about 2 minutes he found he couldn't put any more chakra into his muscles without them starting to hurt. He looked around him, the world was a blur. He nodded to himself, if this was his limit then he could deal with that.

He stopped to catch his breath, This time he was breathing hard. He felt empty. Black spots began to cloud his vision as he teetered around on the spot. He tried to wake up but he couldn't, the dark void of sleep had complete control over them. He crumpled to the floor finally succumbing to unconscious.

When he awoke it was night time. He felt groggy and tired. He pulled himself up and looked around, trying to not fall over again. "Guess i pushed myself to far..." He muttered to no one. Slowly but surely he made his way back to the orphanage. The academy was tomorrow, he knew he would have to get a good nights rest if he wanted to learn more efficiently.
