The Lonely Road [Travel]

He wandered lonely as a cloud. Except far more lonely. The clouds moved in groups across the sky, Takeo was sure they mocked him. The young man stepped along the path. His eyes scanned the horizon carefully. There was not much life out this way. Whether a result of the main village of the country being run by Youka or something else, Takeo wasn't sure. The surroundings weren't foreign to him. He had been here before. It was surprising to think he had, it had been for a fleeting moment. But his memory hadn't failed him. He knew the way from here. The path he sought, it wasn't an easy one. To Xyxer perhaps Kirigakure had been a new era for him. For Takeo it was simply a mistake. The failings of himself had led to the demolishing of Tengakure and the establishment of that stain on the world. It would be fixed. His redemption would begin with the crushing of the scum of the world.
