Ninjutsu and Taijutsu Empty Ninjutsu and Taijutsu

Wed Mar 30, 2016 8:32 am
Ryu was at the training grounds when he noticed a man clap his hands and produce a powerful gust of wind. The gust knocked over the training dummy and the wind still blew against the ninja even though he was some distance away. “Sweet.” Ryu said while fixing his hair and continuing to watch the ninja from a safe distance. The ninja being watched threw a kunai toward the dummy and clapped his hands, the wind forced the kunai to go faster. As the weapon hit the dummy it went through the dummy and went into the ground. While watching Ryu felt the need to clap his hands, but the same effect wasn’t produced. Maybe I need to add some wind, maybe I should find my own space though. I don’t want to bother this guy. Walking around the shinobi, so that he wouldn’t bother his concentration Ryu made it to his training rock and set his bag down.

Gathering his chakra together the same way he had done for the wind bullets Ryu clapped his hands together producing a gust that barely kicked some sand off the ground. It needs a little more, clap I think maybe some more chakra too. Gathering the chakra between his palms the ninja focused and steadied his mind. Let the wind flow through you and then compress it and with a clap release all of the energy within. Spreading his arms wide the ninja readied his hands and energy, swiftly he brought the palms together creating a large boom and a jet of air in front of him. The sand on the ground formed a line where the wind blew past it. The wind like a soundwave seemed to grow wider as it sped away then finally dissipated about twenty meters out. Ryu walked around the area the wind had hit to study the effects and how it could be used in combat. I wonder if I could use it to send stuff back along with sending things away faster. Shrugging the genin walked away and let the wind smooth over the area as he moved onto making another airwave.

Focusing once more creating wind between his palms he spread his arms far and brought them together sending out another airwave that raced across the field. Watching it from start to finish he watched how far it went, how high and how wide. This one seemed to go wider than the previous one. “Maybe it is all in the clap.” He began clapping without the use of chakra it was hard enough that his hands were red after a few slaps. Ryu had noticed that the wider his hands when he clapped the lower the soundwave spread when he finally heard the sound, some were louder than others. He hypothesized that louder claps would produce a specific directional effect while a wider lower one would produce an airwave that spread in all directions. Gathering the wind energy he clapped his hands slowly and produced a gust of wind that blew away the sand surrounding the ninja it didn’t spread out as far as the wind that went in a single direction, but it seemed it would be effective enough against anything thrown from any angle. Maybe he should test whether or not it would work like he thought later, after all even if it didn’t work all that would happen is he’d have to go to the hospital to get a kunai removed from his foot. Well whatever when it comes to new jutsu sometimes the benefits are worth the risk.

Walking over to the equipment shed in the training field Ryu grabbed two dummies and returned them to his rock and placed them standing into the sand. With a hand clap he sent an air blast charging towards the motionless straw equipment. As the force of the wind hit the object the dummy was uprooted and sent rolling along the ground for about ten meters. Looking at the other one Ryu clapped his hands and sent an air assault in its direction which also flung the dummy it spiraled rolling around in the sand. After seeing this effect of the jutsu, Ryu reset the dummies and went for another attempt at trying to move them maybe with more force via his chakra he could send them flying instead of rolling. With greater concentration Ryu began to add his own chakra to the base of the attack after a moment he felt he had built about double the energy necessary to cast the jutsu. With a clap he sent the wave rushing forward. The energy overtook the dummy in seconds swallowing it the tempest and kept the object moving forward until the dummy was still moving even after the wind had stopped propelling it. With a nod to the other dummy Ryu did the same thing as he had done to the other, watching this time as the mannequin twisted and turned through the air, until its inevitable fall to the ground where it would skid for about a foot and then stop entirely.

The ninja didn’t pick up the dummies this time instead he drew a kunai and tossed it into the air only to catch it by the haft on the way back down. He tossed the blade up once more and clapped in its direction sending a wave of wind chakra to counter the trajectory of the blade and send it back up into the sky. After a few moments the object returned to the ground and landed a couple of feet away from where the ninja was standing. He picked up the dagger and tossed it once more directly up only clapping when it came back towards him. Ryu tried to follow where the object was in the air, mostly because he didn’t want to get hit by a returning kunai. A soft sound hitting the ground was enough to turn the ninja around and that is where he found his weapon. Grabbing the object he placed the kunai back into his weapons pouch and pulled out five of his shuriken and tossed them up. With a quick clap to the sky he send an airwave which missed one of the shuriken, luckily the ninja was fast enough to catch it then move as the other four rained back down. I really need to re-evaluate how I make my decisions. Ryu grabbed one of the dummies and placed it next to himself, the dummy used Ryu as a stand to stay up. The plan for the dummy was to throw the shuriken and make the omni-directional gale palm, then as all hell rained down Ryu would use the dummy like a shield. Throwing the shuriken into the air while attempting to scatter them, Ryu clapped his hands leaving a pocket of space that was needed to make the air go in all directions. As he clapped the air spread deflecting the shuriken and blowing away the dummy. Ryu only looked as dummy fell over and rolled away from him, out of pure reflex the ninja clapped again at least this way he wouldn’t get hit. It was very likely that he would lose a shuriken, but luckily he saw five flashes of steel that landed in all different directions.

The ninja walked over to each shuriken and placed it back into his bag, luckily he had managed to get all five and didn’t need to spend any money on new ones. Ryu made his way over to the dummy kicking it lightly he oved it to a position he could throw a kunai threw it with no trouble. He stood the dummy up and dragged the other over to the area and stood it up next to this one. Drawing a kunai Ryu threw the kunai at the dummy and clapped his hands forcing the wind to follow behind the weapon until the momentum of the air overtook the dagger and launched it further and faster until the kunai ripped through the dummy landing in the sand on the opposite side of it. Drawing two more kunai Ryu drew them and threw them toward the dummies clapping his palms together he sent both daggers racing towards the other dummy and watched as both pierced through the straw and landed in the dirt once more. Ryu had two kunai remaining to throw he held them and felt the blades over once, some of them were used to cut Salzem and looked a little dull. I will have to sharpen these later for sure. Wait I can sharpen them with wind chakra as Jaytori said. All I have to do is remember the cyclone training that was able to force the kunai through the rock. With a brief pause the ninja started to form his chakra into spinning cyclones that ran along the edge of the blade, after a bit of grinding the blade had sharpened and he was ready to sharpen the next one. Continuing with the sharpening the ninja made sure both were capable of working, by throwing them into the dummies. They both landed inside of the straw and upon inspection the cuts that the kunai did make seemed clean. Ryu grabbed all of his kunai whether they were in the sand or in the dummies. He returned to where he was near the rock and walked a couple of feet forward. The next thing to do on the road to getting the jutsu down was throwing the objects while attempting to knock over the dummies at the same time.

Whipping a kunai forward Ryu clapped his hands together once more this time though instead of the kunai going completely through it stopped inside as the dummy rolled and uplifted from the sand the sight was spectacular. If a kunai were to stop inside of an enemy instead of going through them it would cause significant distress and pain, the dagger being left inside the body is sure to be more devastating. Grabbing two kunai from his pouch he threw them toward the other dummy and clapped his hands together the weapons streamed forward cutting the air as they moved and producing an audible hiss with a quick sound the daggers were inside the rolling dummy. Ryu walked towards both dummies, the kunai had shredded the areas where they had struck and pulling them out was a simple matter of just shaking the dummy. Picking up the dummies and weapons Ryu walked back to his rock as he had decided it was time for a break. It was still pretty early in the day and the ninja felt like he had gotten the hand of this particular jutsu. Sitting down kunai in hand he began cleaning underneath of his fingernails.

Sitting in the shade of the rock Ryu looked around trying to figure out what he should do next. The sun was still up high and there was nothing really to do at home, maybe it was time to do something different with training. There were all these times Ryu had gone to the gym to practice punches and kicks, but he had never paid much attention to the taijutsu aspect of ninja training. Maybe it was finally time to start. Though looking over to the dummies the ninja knew he would have to go grab some more, the human shaped objects had the straw beat out of them. Ryu resolved to wait a couple of minutes maybe drink some water and then he would attempt to continue his training. Using taijutsu this time instead of doing the same ninjutsu techniques he had been attempting. With a huff Ryu stood up and grabbed the dummies dragging them towards the equipment shed, there was a pile where destroyed dummies were stacked and Ryu tossed his into it. Maybe they recycled the things or fed them to horses or camels, but it didn’t really matter. Grabbing another dummy from the shed Ryu returned to his rock.

Setting the dummy up for part two of training Ryu backhanded the dummy, causing a stinging pain up the ninja’s arm. Ahh, why did that hurt so badly? I should hit it harder. Once more the ninja struck the dummy using the back of his hand. The dummy barely moved as if the strength of the hand wasn’t even powerful enough to effect it. The sting in his hand was much stronger now and Ryu held his palm with his other hand whilst dropping to his knees. “Oh, good whatever… Why does this hurt so frickin much? After a minute the pain subsided and he was ready to go once more. With a flurry of blows towards the training dummy each hurting his hand each more than the last Ryu managed to hurt his hand once more. It throbbed the red stinging pain pulsating up the ninja’s hand, into his arm and into his brain and then back through all over again. Maybe there is a way to make the technique not hurt. Get my head off of the pain entirely. It was definitely worth a try to learn a bit of taijutsu for the upcoming jounin exams. Standing up Ryu thought of someone who might attempt to steal his organs he slapped the dummy continuously yelling. “No! No! Nooooooo!” He could feel the pain of each strike, but it seemed to not matter as he continued to shout the word and slap, what appeared in Ryu’s mind to be an average height adult wearing a red shirt, with green gloves and green tights. Why the ninja had imagined this man over any other was without a doubt odd, but the ninja didn’t think much of it. Ending the flow of constant bitch slaps Ryu was left panting and sweating. Grabbing some water he guzzled what was left and grabbed his spare, as usual there was nothing to make you dehydrated like training in a desert. Quickly after the small break Ryu went back to physically assaulting the dummy that had an R on its imaginary shirt. Why do I feel like I’m hitting this thing because it said something stupid? He backhanded the dummy once more and saw that the speed of his slap had increased slightly, though the power behind the strike still didn’t seem to effect the mannequin. Continuing with slap training was simple just prepare your back hand and send it forward, then wince and deal with the pain by not crying. Continuing the slapping Ryu was feeling ready to move onto another move, there was this cool kick thing someone had shown him before. The kick involved a feint followed by an actual kick it looked complicated. Kicking was a later goal though right now the focus was epic bitch slapping and even though it still hurt it was kind of fun. With a few more slaps and some pain later Ryu made a seal for his medical jutsu and relieved some of the pain from his hands.

When Ryu had seen the leaf whirlwind done it was obvious that it could be a set-up to use a couple of other moves. It was very much like the training for the phoenix fire jutsu which was the first step Ryu had taken in learning the great fireball shower. The fires caused by that jutsu were magnificent and hopefully after this kick was learned and mastered it would create something just as wonderful. Running toward the dummy the ninja reached out with his left leg and then attempted to whip the other around as the ninja he had seen had. As expected with someone who was not trained in much taijutsu Ryu fell on his butt knocking over the dummy on his way down. There was a whole lot to learn before Ryu was even ready to try kicking like that again.

Practicing a kick was simple enough just extend your leg out and bring it back in. That was the easy part of the jutsu doing the feint flippy thing was the hard part. Every time the ninja tried he would wind up tripping, stumbling and falling over. I shall defeat you straw dummy, as soon as I can do this without falling. Attempting the feint again the genin swiftly followed through with his other foot, this time the foot passed his leg without hitting it and the attack seemed successful. It was the first successful kick of the day, hopefully he could get this part down before Ryu took his afternoon lunch break in the village. The ninja attempted the attack again and it seemed pretty hit or miss with the attack. Sometimes Ryu would succeed and other times he would stumble or fall over, there was improvement in that it did not happen every time, but it still wasn’t perfect. The genin was determined though to not leave the training until this part of the kick was perfected. I can definitely do this, I’ve done it a couple of times and the kick will definitely useful in the jounin exams. Gritting his teeth and wiping away some sweat Ryu attempted the kick once more and with the added determination he was able to successfully perform the kick three times in a row, but that wasn’t enough it had to be ten. With a little more push the ninja had gotten to eight consecutive kicks before the ninja stumbled while doing one. Which meant the ninja had to start from the beginning of the feint to the actual kick doing one or two quickly was easy enough, but the more in rapid succession he did the harder it became and after Ryu had done his seventh kick he was tired. Pausing briefly the genin caught his breath and did the last couple of kicks and sat done on the ground and waited for the sun to move a couple of more inches in the sky so that he could go to lunch.

Leaving the dummies where they are, because he would be back in a bit the ninja made his exit of the training grounds and headed into the village. Walking past the gates it was plain to see the confusion on the ninja’s face, he looked deep in thought and it seemed important. In reality though Ryu was only thinking about what he wanted for lunch there were so many options, a BBQ place, fast food, that dango shop he had visited a couple of weeks ago. The options were vast, but a single ninja could not eat all of that food. Turning down the alley where the barbeque restaurant was Ryu noticed they had gotten some new signs that lit up. “Nice.” Ryu walked in and took a seat at one of the booths. There were plenty of people gathered all talking loudly, there was a group celebrating some event and yet Ryu sat alone. The ninja ordered a drink along with a rack of ribs. When the barbeque sauce covered pork arrived at the table the ninja picked up the entire thing and went to town on them. By the time he had finished eating all that was left of the ribs were the bones and sauce which covered the ninja’s hands and face. He went to the rest room to wash up, before paying his bill and leaving the place and heading back to do his training once more.

Swiftly heading back to the dummies and rock the ninja made no stops he was ready to finish his training on the leaf hurricane. Sliding to a stop near the rock the ninja charged the dummy full force and raised his leg attempting to feint the dummy after that the ninja swung his other leg around and hit the training dummy low, Ryu jumped as the attack landed. Apparently all the ninja needed to succeed was a long break and some food maybe he should take breaks more often they increased the efficiency in which the genin worked and as the saying goes there is pudding in proof and pudding s good. Ryu attempted his kick against the dummy once more and it was another success, it was really doing wonders for the ninja’s self-esteem that each time he attempted the whirlwind he didn’t end up face first in the sand. Instead of running at the dummy a third time instead Ryu just attempted the kick from where he was after kicking the thing a second time the kick landed as expected when fighting a non-moving target. Does the first kick have to be a feint or can it hit and still be able to follow with the second kick? With one more high kick the ninja made sure the first one landed before swinging the other leg around and aiming low. The impact of one kick didn’t seem to be enough to knock the dummy over, but with two the thing fell down with ease. As he had not grabbed two dummies from the shack Ryu had to pick this one up before attempting to kick once more. After a couple more kicks and tumbles the dummy started to look as ragged as the other ones had, but he would have to make do with this one. There were other people in the training grounds and they would likely need to borrow some dummies too. Ryu wasn’t the type of ninja to only worry about himself, he was considerate of odd things like that. Last he had checked there were only a few dummies left, so when the ninja was finished with this one it was going to be in so many pieces it couldn’t be carried. Ryu would certainly turn what remained to ash though and let the wind take it to where ever. With one final attempt at the leaf whirlwind the dummy fell over, but remained mostly intact the strings and wired still held the straw dummy together.

After the last successful use of the whirlwind Ryu took a seat on the ground it hadn’t been long since he had eaten lunch and the food needed to settle. Especially after all of that exercise that the ninja had just done. At least now it looked like the sun was preparing to set, it was no longer in the center of the sky and that was always a good sign for the ninja. While in town Ryu had filled his water bottles and with the sun lowering he would not need to continue drinking water like he had, he could slow down a bit and relax his body. The boy sunk his shoulders sink into the warm sand and felt as the sensation crept along his muscles and reduced the tightness inside of them.

Ninjutsu and Taijutsu Empty Re: Ninjutsu and Taijutsu

Thu Mar 31, 2016 2:25 am
Raising from the sand cocoon Ryu looked at the worn ragged dummy the kick he was about to attempt was slightly more difficult than the whirlwind. It involved a rear spinning kick that could be used to send someone flying. The technique required extreme coordination which is why the whirlwind was necessary before trying this technique. Dusting of his clothes Ryu stood near the rock and attempted the kick spinning backwards and attempting just to hit air. While the whirlwind was definitely hard to learn this one was just as difficult, the kick training from moments ago helped in that the ninja didn’t break his leg on the way down to the ground. Standing back up and regaining his composure Ryu attempted the kick once more, meeting the same results. He could do the kick, but couldn’t regain balance once his feet hit the ground and would fall over. Again and again this was the result of the kick maybe Ryu was just overthinking the landing he would always extend his leg out early fearing his fall to the ground below. Maybe the fear of hitting the ground was what was keeping the ninja from achieving.

With a jump and kick Ryu rotated his leg around and pushed the anxiety of falling out of his mind. While spinning Ryu waited until the appropriate time to stop himself by placing both feet onto the ground, the momentum made it so that hands were required to stop, but at least the ninja didn’t get a face full of sand. So that was something to be happy about. With another attempt and almost another near tumble the ninja was finally getting close to the breakthrough needed to get the technique down. With a few more spins and kicks, the ninja was ready to take some shots at the training dummy.

Approaching the dummy the ninja stopped his feet before jumping up and bringing his foot around into the straw. A few long pieces of straw fell from the dummy as the foot connected with it, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. Landing and then jumping again Ryu placed his foot on the dummy, where the chest would be on a human. This was where the ninja wanted the next kick to land, mostly it was difficult for the ninja to force the kick to land where he wanted. With another kick Ryu aimed at the chest, but was only able to hit the things waist. After so much work on slaps and kicks, Ryu felt like he should probably be able to aim where his kicks went by now. Maybe it was time for another break, there always seemed to be some kind of inspiration gathered when he did. Plopping once more in the sand, this time not in the shade but right next to his motionless and emotionless training partner. I’m going to kick you out of the sand the next time, if you were in better condition I’d kick you harder. I’m just afraid that one more good kick and you’ll turn into strands. Blowing some air onto the dummy, the ninja watched as the loose straw moved around with each breath. Yeah, one good kick and you are going to split. I should probably just work on going high with my kick through the air and then bring it to the dummy to make sure I can do it. Yeah, that’s what I’ll do, but for right now I’m just going to lay here. Shutting his eyes briefly the ninja entered into an unintentional sleep.

Waking from his nap the ninja rubbed his eyes and rolled over the sun was gone from the sky, but Ryu wanted to finish his training. Standing up groggily Ryu began removing all of the dust that now covered his body. At least there would be more dummies in case one was needed, most people would have left the fields by now anyway, so taking an extra dummy wouldn’t be a terrible idea. With a sigh Ryu attempted the leaf gale once more and with his slightly still sleepy state fell over like he had so many times before. By now though standing from a prone position was almost second nature. All it took was a slight rock and bend in the back and the ninja could jump to his feet. Regaining his bearings Ryu attempted the kick again, this time succeeding in turning completely around. It still isn’t high enough, I need to extend my leg out a little more. With a hop Ryu extended his spinning leg completely out which raised the height of his kick considerably, this one was about face level on the dummy, so he had to learn how far out to extend his leg.

With a few more hops and kicks the ninja was able to figure out how much leg was needed to aim a kick higher or lower during the spin. Looking at the dummy Ryu thought he was ready to use the last kick to blow the stuffing out of the dummy. Raising his feet from the ground Ryu turned and extended his leg planting the foot into the dummies chest, thus knocking it over and forcing the thing to fall apart. Ryu jumped for joy with his success he nap had given him the extra energy he had needed to perform the leaf gale. Making some hand seals for the great fireball Ryu torched whatever remained of the dummy turning it into ash. He then used the gale palm jutsu to send the remaining ash flying.

With how late it was at night, instead of doing more training Ryu decided it was time to head home. There was always time to do some more taijutsu training the next day. He had a few ideas on what techniques he wanted to learn, but he would need to stop by the academy to see how they were done. With a stretch and little walk the ninja would be home and ready to start again in the morning.

Ninjutsu and Taijutsu Empty Re: Ninjutsu and Taijutsu

Thu Mar 31, 2016 11:14 am
Light came early after the previous night of training, it was probably around one in the morning when the ninja finally arrived inside of his home. Instead of eating the dinner that was placed in the fridge for him, he went straight to bed. Breakfast would be ready shorty anyway and the prospect of sweet syrup on pancakes was better than anything that could possibly be considered dinner by normal standards.  With the smell of waffles hanging in the air Ryu hopped out of bed and walked downstairs. He wore his koroshi pajamas as he walked down the steps and greeted his parents. Taking the plate of food handed him Ryu ate everything then walked upstairs to change before heading over to the academy.

At the academy library the ninja had to look for things in a section he had not visited before, of course it was the taijutsu section. Yesterday the ninja had learned quite a few moves to use when fighting in hand to hand combat, Ryu wanted to add to his repertoire. He grabbed an E, a D, and finally a C-ranked scroll before checking the out with the librarian then heading out the door to the training field. The gates were open as usual and people were heading in to get in their morning training, as some other people were going to get dummies Ryu did the same and waited until it was his turn to grab one then head over to his training spot.

After setting up the dummy Ryu opened the D-Rank scroll for Dynamic Entry and looked at the picture, it seemed simple enough just run and kick, if done properly the foot would be coated in a visible stream of air or chakra or whatever it was in the picture. Racing towards the dummy the ninja extended his leg out, while tucking the other and as he moved forward missed the dummy entirely. Ryu ran at the dummy once more misjudging the angle of the kick again. This technique unlike the previous ones was less about coordination and more about aiming it seemed. Maybe it would be easier to hit a bigger target like a rock. Running towards the boulder extending his leg out and yelling. DYNAMIC ENTRY!!! The foot smacked into the rock, but didn’t go through. All that happened was once foot and rock connected the ninja went back a couple of inches and stopped. Next Ryu backed up a few feet before running at the rock again, there was no chakra being emitted from the ninja’s foot maybe that meant he had to get stronger, should he lift bro? Or maybe just keep kicking the rock until it chipped?

Run kicking the rock started to take its toll on the ninja’s legs the muscles were starting to hurt, so it was time to just kick the air around until the ninja was sure he could hit an immobile dummy. A few jump kick and tucks later Ryu was sure he could hit an immobile object. Lining up his attack with the dummy the ninja rushed forward his pose just as before with one foot sticking out, the time in the air passed quickly as he moved through the wind like a human arrow finally assaulting the dummy with a dynamic kick that sent the thing flying across the field. Ryu had to pick the dummy back up every time he managed to kick the thing. If it were made of flesh and blood the dummy would be bruised and bleeding all over now by the sheer amount of kicks that had landed on it.

Ryu needed to keep the sweat from running into his eyes, so taking a towel from his bag he began to wipe away all of the moisture and sand that was stuck onto his face. He then looked over to the dummy and decided it was time to kick his training into high gear, he would us every taijutsu technique he knew in one go. Since the dynamic entry was a move to make an entry he would start with that. Running full speed towards the dummy the ninja extended his leg forward while tucking the other and yelled. “DYNAMIC ENTRY!!!” the dummy began to move forward, but Ryu was already on standby with his leaf hurricane. With a high kick that connected with the dummy and low kick that also landed Ryu yelled. “Leaf Hurricane.” As the dummy continued to go forward and fall he quickly followed with a reverse kick. “Leaf Gale.” Finally as the dummy stopped its aerial movement the ninja jumped on top of the thing and slapped it in the face. “You rack much disciprine.” With everything combined Ryu was sure that it could all be used to seriously hurt an opponent. Everything combined so smoothly though it was a very natural thing to just follow up one attack after the other and the best part was that it wasn’t all that tiring like some other things were.

With one set of furious fists and feet done Ryu decided to do it all again starting from the dynamic entry all the way into discipline! The dummy went through the air and was barraged by attack after, after attack. Ryu wanted to give a name to the combo, but didn’t want to give any credit to the leaf for it, so instead he decided to call it the Sand Combo. With his work on kickery complete Ryu was free to relax in the sand for a bit, before he read over whatever was in the e-rank scroll and began work on it. From what the ninja knew the technique wouldn’t take long to learn at most an e-rank justu would take about twenty minutes to half an hour. So instead of doing anything productive he just sat in the sand twiddling his thumbs, waiting until he felt like getting up to continue with his training. Within a couple of minutes Ryu felt like he would be ready.

Standing up from prone the ninja did as usual by dusting himself off and opening his bag to take out the E-Rank scroll. For an E-Rank technique it certainly had a cool name. One-Thousand Years of Death as the scroll read. Unrolling the thing and staring at the image briefly caused Ryu to fall over laughing and roll around in the sand. On the scroll there was a man shoving his fingers into the anus of another causing them to jump into the sky while holding their buttocks. It was just hilarious and the last thing the ninja expected to see on the scroll.

Approaching the dummy the ninja lined up his fingers carefully before forcefully shoving them inside of the dummy. While the dummy should have been sent skyward according to the scroll there was a slight oversight on the ninja’s part ad instead of hurting the enemy the ninja hurt himself as his finger bent while thrusting and caused some minor pain and discomfort to occur. The finger definitely wasn’t broken and within a couple of minutes everything would be alright, especially with that medical technique he had learned. That technique had come in handy multiple times before and it would probably be beneficial to learn some more medical jutsu, just as he had learned taijutsu. Togi knew a bunch about that aspect of things maybe it would be worth asking him.

With the finger back to normal the ninja once more carefully aimed his fingers then launched them forward, this time around Ryu kept his fingers straight and on target that way he wouldn’t make the same mistake twice. As the fingers penetrated the dummy it still didn’t uproot from the sand and head into the sky, it probably just needed a running start and a yell for motivation. Walking about twenty feet from the dummy the ninja turned then ran forward his fingers poised to strike, he thrusted them forward into the dummies backside yelling something as he had done before. “Forbidden Jutsu: One-Thousand Years of Death!” With the momentum of the charge Ryu had managed to send the dummy about a foot into the sky, before landing on its base and falling over naturally. Does the jump come from the person themselves or am I just not doing it correctly? Taking out the scroll the ninja read the description, apparently the jump was caused by the person having their butt plugged. Ryu stood there momentarily thinking of what he would do if someone shoved their fingers up his ass. Surely he would jump from the more than odd sensation, but he would probably then look at the person and create some murder balls and leave the person as a dry steaming husk on the ground. It is not because the boy was malicious it is because he didn’t like things or anyone near his butt, I mean like who really does though. Not many that’s for sure. Picking up the dummy and forcing it to stand Ryu went back to work on the technique while running he stopped though. Is it called One-Thousand Years of Death, because you would die of embarrassment after getting hit by it? Or because you would rather die than get a finger in the brown dot? Hopefully the ninja would never have to find out the answer to that question and instead others would have to wonder that when he used it on them. Ryu poked the dummy as hard as he could firmly placing his fingers in the appropriate/inappropriate spot allowing the dummy once more to rise from the sand and fall.

Ninjutsu and Taijutsu Empty Re: Ninjutsu and Taijutsu

Thu Mar 31, 2016 5:40 pm
With the dummy laying on the ground and the wind blowing through the ninja’s hair it was time to pick up the third scroll that read Leaf Rising Wing, but Ryu didn’t open it. After some thinking the ninja had determined it was best to continue his training on the basic medical jutsu. He had used the moved plenty of times, he used it in every fight against Salzem and even used it during today’s training. There was a reason his friend Togi and the kazekage had learned to use medical jutsu and that reason was because it was useful. When Ryu had learned the basic medical jutsu he knew there was another level of skill in it he could learn to mend clean breaks and set other types. If Ryu ran into someone capable in the exams that could break his bones in a punch it would be necessary to learn this technique. With the prospect of teams also, this jutsu would work even if it wasn’t Ryu that needed a broken bone fixed. The ninja pulled out a kunai and looked at the edge remembering what he had to do previously to learn the technique and that was cut himself and heal the wound.

Instead of just jumping into broken bones and then just failing and not having use of his fingers the ninja thought it would be best to start with small cuts and then move into larger ones and then as a final test go into broken bones. Putting the tip of the sharpened kunai against his skin, the ninja winced slightly as he dragged the blade across his skin and let a shallow pull of blood form, around the five inch cut. The with his arms dripping blood onto the ground he made the boar, rat, then snake hand seals the ninja’s hand started to glow blue, placing the hand over the wound the ninja sighed in relief as the pain went away and the wound was felt with a warmth as the wound began to close. Moving his arm rapidly the ninja shook all of the excess blood onto the ground, he then grabbed his water bottle and poured the contents over the arm, he rubbed the remaining liquid around the arm thus removing the last of the blood that remained on the ninja’s arm. With the blood gone it was clear to see that no wound remained and he could move on with his training on the jutsu with bigger wounds.

Ryu had been slashed by the lycanthropic Salzem many times, but it didn’t really compare to any of the pain he felt now cutting deeply into his skin, like a murderous psychopath who was on a rampage. Crunching his teeth together he attempted not to scream, but not squinting and scrunching in the world could prevent the flow of tears. The blood flowed onto the ground like a water main had busted from inside of the ninja’s body, spraying and leaking. It looked like the only way to fix the leak would be to summon a medical plumber. The only medical plumber around though happened to be himself though and he would have to work quickly, the sight of so much of his own blood flowing started to make the genin sick. Holding back a sob for the moment Ryu made his hand seals and went to work allowing the healing energies to flow through the inside of his wound and fix the current medical emergency. The pain didn’t end though once the thing had closed. The memory of the pain was still there and still effecting the ninja as he dropped his kunai and bent over panting heavily, while wiping his face of sweat and tears.

Even though it was still early into the day Ryu had no interest in losing any more blood in a short amount of time. Still lightly tearing up from the old wound the ninja walked away from his training dummy and pool of blood that had seeped into the sand like water into dirt. With all of the blood and gore it was hard to believe Ryu had not puked yet, maybe in his experiences he had grown accustomed to the horrors of the human and lycanthropic body. Besides after witnessing a boy your age using your fire to blow his own arm off, you kind of grow weary of blood. With Togirama though there really was no blood, just a dry husk that turned to ash when the wind blew leaving behind a very brittle bone and burnt stump. Luckily Togi had prepared a technique to regrow his arm before just sacrificing his arm to the scorch. With Salzem there was more blood caused by the rasengan, with that situation though there were tiny bits and pieces torn in small sections around the area the spinning chakra had landed in the ninja’s chest. The rasengan after all was a technique that grinded into the opponents flesh before sending them spiraling away. While this did happen to the were-wolf using some type of healing jutsu or healing factor as Salzem called it the grievous wound had been healed in mere seconds, thus canceling any ill effects caused by taking a direct hit from the miniaturized tailed beast bomb. This was the very reason the boy needed a medical technique, just because there was always that moment where the unexpected could happen and the need to heal a wound quickly and efficiently arises. Like Ryu thinking most of the times the jutsu would be needed were when the unexpected happened. Like a dagger in the back, a kunai catch gone wrong I.E. an exploding one or even just some crazy mother f***er that wanted a free kidney and some cool abilities. There were other scenarios some more likely than others, but still all of them were possible. Anyway it was time to stop worrying about what could or even could not happen and move on with the training of the medical jutsu.

This go through of the technique there was no need for open wounds and the shedding of blood, all that was left to do was simply break a bone… Actually simply isn’t the word it is more like hesitantly and with little to no resolve. I mean who wants to break a bone? Only the twisted and tormented that’s who. Gathering up all of the courage the ninja could muster, he pulled a fresh towel from his bag and placed it between his teeth. What was about to happen would probably make the boy scream if it weren’t for something being in his mouth. The cotton was dry on the tongue and tasted well… bland. Getting to a seated position the genin knew what he had to do. He grabbed onto the middle toe of his left foot, then with a deep breath he pulled hard. There was a snapping sound coupled with a whole lot of pain, the ninja bit hard into the cloth. While it took none of the pain away it served as a good substitute for screaming. To be completely honest though the previous cut the ninja had made was a lot more painful, so maybe he wouldn’t have screamed. Didn’t matter now though there was already something preventing it anyway. As the ninja spit out the rag he looked at the broken toe, within the couple moments of breaking it had swollen, turning a shade of purple and blue, with a sickly green bruise lining the border. There was no mistake that this was a break and not just a regular everyday stubbed or bruised to. With precision Ryu formed his seals and started to mend his toe. This application wasn’t the same as earlier, where the flesh sowed itself back together only leaving clear un-marked skin. This time the bone was moving back into place and Ryu could feel every second of it, it was like the bone had broken all over again. The reason the skin didn’t cause pain on reformation was that the integument as an organ was made to stretch and loosen to cover the body, this included changes in height and weight or other things like weight lifting. Bone however was an entirely different thing, osteo-cells were not made to stretch, they were made to be a solid framework for the body where tendons could attach to bone and muscles could attach to those tendons. The skeleton was also made to protect vital organs like the heart and that is why bones do not stretch. It is part of what they are mostly calcium, which if entirely made of the substance would cause the bones to be brittle instead of hard, there were other things to balance that out though like elastin. As time went by the swelling on the ninja’s foot had reduced there was no hematoma formation or anything of the sort, the jutsu had forced the bone through all four stages of breaking in a matter of minutes. With a long sigh and head lift toward the sky Ryu was certainly ready for the pain to end.

Standing up came naturally as the toe was no longer broken there was no “ooh and ahh.” As he stood, just silence and a desire to never have to break his own bones anymore. Looking at his feet the ninja inched forward watching as he placed his previously injured foot on the ground, as if in some way it would warn him of the pain if it were to come. Touching the ground with his foot the ninja felt no twinge or tingle of pain only the sensation of sand between the toes. The genin continued to walk forward as he knew he had to walk on the foot to make sure the jutsu had been a success. After a small walk to the equipment shed and back the ninja was one-hundred percent certain that the toe had been fixed. With a celebratory stomp into the sand the boy was ready to wrap up all of his training and head home. There was one thing he had to do though before leaving… Torch the dummy and scatter the ashes. As tradition he made a large fireball shoot from his mouth and onto the dummy making it smoke and flame up until the fire ran out of fuel and died in the sand, only leaving behind grey and black residue. Stepping forward Ryu clapped his hands together making a shockwave of wind which kicked up a storm of sand and ash to the sky. After that was said and done the ninja headed for the training gates.

As the sun was still high in the sky, there were still plenty of people training. The ninja watched a couple of them in an attempt to figure out what they were doing. If it looked interesting the ninja watched, he could use some inspiration before heading over to Konoha and anywhere Ryu could find it, he would take it. He watched as the other residents of Sunagakure all did their thing and continued to train, Ryu must have studied them for hours before getting off his butt and just leaving the area. After spying on his fellow ninja, Ryu had come to a couple of conclusions. The biggest one being that there was still so much to learn and as a genin he was only scratching the surface. One of the others was that maybe being a ninja wasn’t always about fighting there were other skills he needed to learn, like how to sense and suppress his chakra. As it stood the ninja had a pretty strong chakra and a unique one at that, anyone looking for a scorch element chakra would find him. This ability wouldn’t only be useful in the exams either it could be used elsewhere like if someone were looking to take the boy’s DNA for example. If you can’t sense it, you can’t find it.
