The Rise of a Queen (genin exam)

The day had finally come, one where Queen would alas make it as a ninja. Even though she lacked the capabilities to due the typical Genin exam, the higher ups had finally recognized her skill, and would allow her to take a unique exam in which she would demonstrate her physical capabilities as a ninja. She didn’t feel like she didn’t have to prove herself to anyone, but this is just how the cookie crumbled. The blonde girl walked into the Academy at seven in the morning ready to take her exam. She wore nothing but black leggings and a white tank top, her long hair put back into a high ponytail and going all the way down to her lower back. She walked in and waited in a room resembling some sort of a lobby. She took a seat and rested her hands on her legs. She just wanted to get this over with.

Twas on this magical morning that Risako was on time for the exams. A Christmas miracle come two weeks too late to do any good.

Either way, when the first student to show her face was some girl in a tank top, Risako wondered what she was doing with her life.

In a very uninspired and an unoriginal post, she said, "Mkay. You're here first I suppose, so show me you can do the clone and transformation techniques." The entire time, she made and maintained awkward eye contact.

Queen was finally called into an open rom where a petite looking girl stood. She had short hair, and well she was petite. She hadn’t seen this woman previously but she only assume she was of some sort of high ranking person within the ninja forces. After all, she was looking after which students would be fit to join them. Queen looked at her with a rather expressionless face when she asked her to perform the jutsu, while deep down she slightly panicked. Had they not told her of Queen’s inability to form chakra? Did they fool Queen into thinking that she could be a ninja, but it being some sort of big joke? Of course not, they couldn’t have. Her father’s company helped to keep Konoha’s economy flowing. If they had done such a task, someone would pay. Calmly, the blonde headed girl handed the proctor a scroll that she had brought just in case if this situation has arose. Within it explained Queen’s situation, and how she would be able to take a different examination in which she would show off her physical talent rather than pitiful jutsu.

After handing the girl the scroll, Rei would walk towards the center of the empty room and look around. Within the room she spotted a a variety of things that she could use to show off her skill. There were projectiles on one side of the room with targets on the opposite end, a punching bag, and another proctor that stood alongside the girl. “You” Queen pointed towards him, before pointing a finger to himself in confusion. Queen nodded and motioned for him to come closer. “We are going to spar. The best way to show I’m capable is if I can defeat on of you in combat.” The girl said without a worry in the world, confident in her ability to defeat him. The man with the blue hair stepped forward with a smirk on his face. He thought this would be a cake walk, as did Queen, but boy were they both wrong.

They both stood across from each other, at a distance of three meters, a bo staff in queen’s hands that she picked up from the weapons racket. The two stood there in a stand off momentarily before the proctor made the first move, getting a run in before launching a jump kick. Queen surged her aura to level two, boosting her speed and strength by ten as well as her reaction time by thirty and she spun the staff in front of her, stopping it only to block the man’s incoming kick. The proctor used the staff as a bouncing bored as he used it to escalate himself higher up, doing a elevated front flip and bringing down his heel on the girl. In order to avoid the offensive move, the girl leaped backwards, as the man’s heel cracked he wooden floor beneath him. The girl’s eyes widen slightly to the strength that he held. It was clear that this would be no time to mess around, not one bit.

Rei let the staff twirl through her fingers before she swung it horizontally fro left to right to attack the man, who avoided it with easy. The girl kept spinning it between each swing in order to try and confuse the man, twirling it from on hand to another and swinging. twirl, twirl, swing. twirl, twirl swing. twirl, twirl, swing, CATCH! The man caught her swing, pulling her towards him as his fist was going fast towards the girl’s face. She was way to pretty to get hit. Using her upper body strength, Queen pulled herself upwards on the bo staff in order to gain the momentum to leap over the man and avoid his punch. She landed elegantly behind him, performing a sweep kick before he could recover. The attack was successful as the blow caused him to fall on his back. Trying not to miss the opportunity, Queen, launched her fist down to his face, but her attack was prevented by the palm of his hand. His large hand covered her first, before throwing her towards the other side of the room. The girl managed to recover herself while in the air and land on her feet. “Not bad girl, maybe you do have what it take to be a ninja.” The words came from the man as he stood back up. “You’ve seen nothing yet.” Queen’s aura, which was invisible to the naked eye, surged around around at a hastened rate as she awakened her spirit level two, and boosting her speed by an extra 20. She dashed towards her opponent, realizing that he was rather strong, but lacked speed. The man prepared to throw a punch at her, but Queen just shifted her body weight ever so slightly, and moved passed his punch in order to place her smooth fist upon his chiny chin chin. The saliva left his mouth in an upwards fashion as everything played in slow motion. She could almost see his brain bouncing around in the confines of his skull. The ninja gain some elevation momentarily before striking the ground. The match, had been now over.

Not one for words, this student was. Risako cocked the right side of her brow as she was handed a scroll. Being the pesky little bugger that she was, her fingers uncurled the scroll, as her ears heard the word "You."

"That tone," Risako thought. 

Then, as her eyes looked upon the first few letters wrote on the parchment, she heard the word "Spar." Immediately, she looked up, a smile on her face. What was this? Since when did Academy Students run the show. Before breaking up this little rebel's spirits into pieces, Risako finished reading the letter. Her companion, which was the proctor's aid, gave her a questioning look. 

Nodding, she said, "So we have a disabled student," before turning to Rei, "Go on then, fight him."

After the floor was wiped with her proctors teeth, well. Risako was a bit surprised, but still unimpressed. For a student, she had shown incredible strength and speed, and though it wasn't easy to tell by looking, Risako thought Rei might be the slightest bit stronger than herself. Even though she was outmatched in speed, she got a few good hits in on her opponent, and even scored a knock out. Risako's voice, sort of mimicking Rei's own overly confident tones, "I think we've seen all you've got to offer," in response to Queen's own "You've seen nothing yet."

After what was hopefully a second of silence, or right before Rei could protest what originally sounded like a fail, Risako would say "Go practice more, you need it." The desk Risako was leaning on was blanketed with headbands. One of which now belonged to the up and coming taijutsu user. Her thumb shot out and pointed to the table, "But before you go, take your pick." Not a command, but a demand.

Deep down, Risako hated being catty, but, this girl would need extra practice, seeing as she had no chakra system. Tough love was necessary <3

[Promoting Queen to genin. Deny me and I'll layeth downeth a smack down... eth.]

Queen looked at Ris as if she were crazy. How was she not going to promote her after that amazing demonstration of physical ability? then the words hit her. She told her to grab her headband and head on out. The girl had no emotion on her face, only the desire to prove to the chunin girl that she was no greater than Rei. She would show her one day.
