Should have brought a map [Travel]

Usually when travelling Takeo never relied on a map. He used visual memory, land marks and such. One of the most common land marks he tended to use was the towers of Tengakure could be seen for miles. Unfortunately, due to recent complications he could no longer rely on such things. Long story short, he was lost. In hindsight perhaps it would have been wiser to turn his ultimate defence off several hours ago, not using it till the point of nearly collapsing would have meant he could use his Byakugan. Alas Takeo had taken to not planning ahead in recent times. That could be blamed on the blood lust that had overcome him. Though the destruction of the village that had stabbed him in the back with a posion blade when he was at his most vunerable had sated it somewhat. Still, he had spent the majority of the time travelling thinking about how much better it would have been to have slaughtered the villagers as well. The fact they were still allowed to live angered him. Perhaps given time he would cut them all down. Would the one he considered a friend, Xyxer, be counted amongst them? When he had been betrayed by Zachariah he had threatened to end Takeos life, even when he was oblivious to said betrayal. However Xyxer seemed to have been aware of the attempted overthrowing of Takeo. When he had left the village, the boy had quickly stepped up to take control of the village. Had he misjudged Xyxer? His hate might have blinded him, made him not see such blatent things. It would take time for him to think such things over. For now he would make his way towards the ocean, after getting his bareings of course. Now that he paid attention it seemed to be raining. As he pulled his hat up from his back to his head he tool note of familiar surroundings. He had been here before, "I made a promise here once, it feels like an age ago."
