Loser Leaves

At last, it was time to get going on his mission. Kozata had woken up, and packed his bags pretty early that morning. Of course, considering that this was probably a diplomatic mission, he didn't consider taking any heavy weaponry. He headed out of the gates, shading his eyes against the afternoon sun. What a great day for a vacation, he thought, as he took one last glance at the village.

Naoki would appear at the gates just as the boy was about to leave. There was a measure he could take that would save him some trouble, if it came to it. Something he had forgotten when he gave Kozata the assignment. He may have not bothered to come for it alone, but then as the Uchiha gave some thought to the upcoming events he also remembered that Tengakure was Rin's home village and quite possibly the current Tenkage or someone from the higher ups knew him personally. Stepping in front of the boy, the leader would stop him. "Wanted to see you off and remembered something else that the Tenkage might be interested in." He would hand the boy another letter and then offer a handshake, during which, assuming Kozata took it, he would place a small nearly undetectable mark seal on the boy. "Well, I wish you a good journey."

The second letter would be an invitation, for the Tenkage and anybody he felt would have known Rin Senju well enough, to attend the funeral of the former Senju clan head, which is to be held in Shimagakure. It also requests that if interested, Tengakure is to send a a letter with the list of people that would be arriving.

Kozata was startled by the handsome leader coming to talk to him again... had he made a mistake? No, it seemed that he had forgotten something. Another letter, huh. Kozata would shake the man's hand, completely oblivious of the seal that was now placed on him. As the leader departed, so would he, sailing off across the ocean in a dinghy.
