Finding the Opportunity

Laying on a couch, Oren was reading a book. He was relatively safe here, despite there being about a hundred people with criminal record in a mile radius. If you haven't guessed where here is, then I'll tell - it was a camp where temporarily the black market was located, an underground hideout, if you will, though the underground part being figurative, it was actually in a forest. And Oren was in a tent, by a fire.

When his bounty was increased after he stole that large sum, he needed a place to stay and keep low profile for a bit. This group helped him out, of course it always helps to have a lot of money. But he wouldn't just drop out from stuff, while he was away, he actively spent time training as a shinobi, buying some new gear, finding some new abilities. He also kept an eye on the news, on shinobi activity and stuff. There did not appear to be anybody from Kumo to be hunting him, so he figured he was rather okay, but should not stay here for too long.

Oren's hand would grasp a kunai as somebody entered the tent. He would recognize a boy of the family that let him stay here. This boy was bringing him the news from the outside world these last few days and it was time for a new batch, so Oren let the weapon down. When he read everything he decided it was time to move, he had stayed here long enough and the world was not going to wait. Apparently there was some interesting activity around Tengakure, so that is where he would be heading. Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all.
