Why must I do this? [Mission, P] Empty Why must I do this? [Mission, P]

Fri Feb 28, 2014 2:36 pm
Mission Details:

It was a beautiful day within Takigakure, and as usual, the leader walks proudly through the village. Spotting a couple near a stand, Saiga approaches them, with a pleasant smile. He reaches out his hand, and attempt to hold the small baby the mother is currently carrying in both of her arms, wrapped in a quilt the infant is extremely vulnerable. Without a moments hesitation, the couple hands over the infant. Saiga grasps it gently, smiling the entire time, while thinking to himself: 'What if this infant grows up, and succeeds me?' For a moment Saiga thinks of crushing the infants skull, or stopping one of its undeveloped pressure points, either way he wanted to kill the baby. The mere thought of someone replacing him sickened him. Handing over the child, Saiga hugs the couple, and walks away, praises of worship being thrown towards him from behind. As the village leader humbly walks through the village.

Entering his office, Saiga takes a seat in his desk. A stack of files spread out in front of him, licking his lips, he reaches over, and is about to begin his routine paperwork, when a man rushes in. "Saiga? Please help me, my family, they're...they're..." As the man speaks two guards approach him from his sides. Taking an arm each, the gaurds apologize, bowing before Saiga. "Sorry, Saiga. We lost track of him for a split second. We'll punish him for disturbing you in your chambers." Saiga remains quiet as they escort the man out of the room, but suddenly raises his hand. "Wait!" The guards turn around, looking towards their leader's warm red eyes, they gulp worriedly, their Adams apple rising, and falling dramatically, as they semi-expect to be scolded. "Let me hear the man's story. You can leave." The guards loosen their grip on the man's arms. "But sir yo-" Saiga raises his hand once more, "I'll be alright, just go." With this, the men exit he room. Closing the door behind them softly. Indeed the men were correct, they would be punished for their lack of alertness. Had the man been a terrorist who knows what could have happened. Their foolishness is worthy of losing a limb or two, Saiga thinks to himself.

"Have a seat." Saiga says seriously, extending his arm kindly. The man hesitantly walks towards Saiga, though his instincts tell him not to. Taking a seat, the man briefly shakes his leaders hand. "Now what can I do for you?" The man looks towards Saiga, for a moment before clearing his throat. "My brother, and his family were taken hostage. He owns a few businesses in this village, if that helps. Please, I beg you, find him, and return him to me safely. Also, one of your ninja were taken as-well." Saiga stands up from his seat, he is surprised, and shocked with this sudden news. "What! My ninja!" Slamming his fist onto the top of his desk, he dents it slightly. "Don't you worry, we'll handle this. No. I'll handle this." It was one thing for Saiga to give this mission to his scarce, and inexperienced ninja, but it made the situation even more captivating, for the man to hear that the leader would be handling the situation himself. "Thank you. I don't know how I could ever repay you..." Saiga walks towards the man, placing his hand on his shoulder he speaks, "Don't worry about that now. Just rest up, I'll be back soon."

With this said, the man exits his office, while bowing politely. While Saiga grabs his coat, and exiting shortly behind him. Closing the door of his chambers, the man walks through the hall both of his hands placed in the coats pockets. His Takigakure Headband strapped against his forehead, this became a moment of worry for the shinobi within the chambers. "Going out sir?" Saiga looks towards the average built man in front of him, "In fact I am." The man nods, "Need me to escort you?" Saiga smiles, patting the man on his shoulder as he walks pass him. "I'll be fine." Exiting the building, the leader enters the street once more. The villagers stare at him in awe as he walks with a destination in mind, his jaws clenched tightly, the man seemed irreproachable.

It takes him a while to reach the village jungle, but he does. Arriving at the location the family was taken from. Staring at the ground, Saiga places his finger against it, and attempts to recreate the scene within his mind. A family of this value would be traveling in a wagon of some sort. While traveling through the forest a man jumps out, faking an injury, to perhaps gain sympathy, and loosen suspicion. All the while, he has a kunai in hand, the first person to near him would be taken hostage. Which leads one to question whom was it that was taken first? The son, father, daughter, or mother. It would have to be the woman, bearing sympathy for the man she exits the wagon against her husbands orders. As he pleads with her to return, the bandit takes her, and the wagon hostage.

Yes, with a single touch to the ground the man was able to discern all of this. Of course it is only intuition. He could very well be wrong. For all he knew, the genin, and family were all dead. Stripped of their valuables, their bodies somewhere in the jungle, being torn apart by an animal. Hoping against this, the man begins to walk through the forest. Then he spots it. A track, created by a wheel perhaps. It seems the family was indeed taken away by wagon. He'd have to get to them quickly before the track disappears, and their lives along with it. Running through the forest, Saiga follows the track carefully, not straying from its path. Finally, he locates a small hut. Light coming from a candle within it, can be seen underneath the door.

He takes intimidate caution, reaching into his pocket, he removes a sword, made entirely out of Osmium. Moving towards the door, he takes a moment to sense the chakra presences within it, and he finds himself to be correct. There were seven people in total within the house. Two of them holding chakra signatures above the norm. He guesses those two to be the cause of this situaion.  Slamming the sword against the wooden door, Saiga bursts it open from the outside, and enters the room.  "The hell are you?" A bandit holding a sword to a boy's neck says, a single patch over his left eye. "I'm the leader, and I've come for my villagers..." Saiga says rather calmly, giving off almost no presensce.  "You? You're the leader?"" Saiga grins, lifting the sword up. "Yes, that is me." After this is said, he walks towards the hostages, at a slow pace. The bandit looks towards the other one for confirmation, and lets the boy go, at the same time throwing a kunai at Saiga. His reflexes allow him to see the kunai as it travels towards him, almost in slow motion.  At the last moment, he moves his head away from its point, allowing the kunai to slightly scar him on purpose.

The whole time, he had still been moving. When the attack ends, and the kunai slams against the wall behind him, Saiga raises his hand to his face, touching his wound. "You have injured a village leader, don't expect to leave this place alive now." Smiling, the sly man disapears. While he is apparently away, both the bandist stare around in confusion. "That's it? He gets injured, and runs away? Haha! Good riddance." The one eyes bandit looks down at the woman, reaching over, he moves his hand against her hair, in a soft, caring motion. The woman whimpers, her husband is left only to watch, his hands ties, and mout stuffed. "Don't worry madam, we'll be sure to take good care of you." After saying this, the man laughs aloud. Having yet to realize the death of his accomplice, just three meters away from him, of course this area lay in his blind spot.

As the man laughs, Saiga walks towards him. His red eyes cold, bearing no signs of life, no emotion could be seen coming from them. "Hey." The man immediatly jolts when he hears Saiga's cold voice speak. "Catch." Flicking his wrist, he throws a round object into the air, and for whatever reason, the bandit takes his hand off of the kid, and catches it. Looking towards Saiga the man smiles, "What's your problem. I hope you weren't hoping to catch me off gaurd with something as simple as this.  There is no response from the cold leader, and soon the man begins to wonder, just what is with the man. Looking towards the boy, woman, man, and girl. Saiga motions for them to close their eyes, doing this with a kind, unworried expression. As expected, the family follows the command of their savior. The bandit notices the sudden change in atmosphere. "What're you doing?" Saiga mugs the mand, his face twisting in a grotesque manner. It was almost repulsive. The bandit is more than shocked with this sudden change, looking away. He now finds himself staring at the object in his hand. This object is his partner in crime's head.

The bandit drops the head to the ground, and looks Saiga. Staring at the body laying on the floor of the hut. He whinces for a moment with a pained expression on his face, and looks back at the weapon in Saiga's hand. Its tip stained with blood, still dripping from the sword, falling against the floor, into a small puddle. "You..when did you do this? You devil!! You're no leader! No way in hell you are." After saying this, the man attempts to run, but it is already too late. A needle exactly 5 centimeters in length, and half a centimeter wide, enters the man's left ear. Piercing his brain, before exiting his right ear in the same fashion.  The man stil remains standing even after his death. His eyes now gray, and lifeless. Walking towards the man, Saiga closes his eyes, gently shoving him in the process. The man falls to the ground. "You can open your eyes now." Saiga says to the family, and they do so, hesitantly at first. "It's dark now, and the Jungle's too dangerous at night to just stroll through. Animals, more bandits...it'll be better if we  spend he night here, and head out in the morning. I'll dispose of their bodies, you just rest. "

The woman looks at Saiga, a passionate expression of thankfullness on her face, but Saiga saw it for what it really was, lust. Yes all women had to lust after something, his mother had done so against his father. Which is why he had to kill her, it was unavoidable.  As the woman unties the her family, Saiga looks at her for a moment with disgust. Looking away, he grabs both bodies, and throws them over his shoulder. "Wait, I'll help you." The father says, reaching over, he grabs one of the bodies, and follows Saiga out of the house, and into the darkness of the jungle.  Nothing but silence surrounds the two men as they walk. From a previous assessment earlier, Saiga knew the man to be at least twice his age.  Soon, they find a proper burial ground. The man drops the body to the floor, and begins to dig a whole, with his hands. "You don't have to do that. I'll have the gaurd ninja, recover their corpses. Let's go back to your family." The man looks up at Saiga from the ground, the moon at Saiga's back, further illuminates his red eyes, and for a moment the man feels fear. "Yes, we should head back."

Saiga, extends a hand to the man as he attempts to get up from the ground by holding onto a tree's extended branch. The man places his hand over it, and accepts the kind gesture. Saiga pulls him up, back to his feet, and just as the men as about to leave, Saiga feels an unfamiliar coldness against his neck, that of metal. Glaring from the corner of his eyes, he sees the face of the person behind him. The man appears to be around his age, and height. "I see you caught my friends." The man says, placing the kunai against Saiga's skin slightly more harder. "But look what I caught! A leader! I'm sure your head is worth a ton in the underground market. I'm so lucky." The man still holding Saiga's hand looks at the leader in disbelief. Saiga winks at him, batting his left eye. "The devil can be many things, Mr. Bandit. Have you ever witnessed a true wolf, dressed in sheep's clothing? Do you know how he operates." Silence is the only response Saiga receives. "I'll tell you why you have not witnessed a true wolf dressed as a sheep. It is because he is never found, and when he is, it's already to late."

As he says this, the image of a wolf appears over their head, snapping, and drooling. Of course this is just a product of Saiga's chakra, incapable of interacting with its environment. Still, this is enough to cause the genin ranked bandit, to tremor in fear, and drop his kunai to the ground. "Monster." Saiga laughs, as a bulge of Osmium rounds the tree behind the boy, and traps him in a box. "No fox." With a single mental command, the Osmium implodes against the man, and kills him instantly. "Incredible story, I have to admit, even I fell for it."  Saiga looks at the man strangely for a moment, "Sorry?" He does not recall lying at all in his speech with the boy. "Nothing, lets just go back..." The sun rises, and the group manages to exit the forest without anymore unexpected appearances. The man returns to his brother, and Saiga's ninja returns to his squad, in wait of the oncoming punishment he would without a doubt receive. As for Saiga, he goes to collect the reward of course, he would never work without benefit.
