How far have they come? (P)(NK)

The strong eastern winds blew through the leafs falling from the enormous jungle trees, the dense jungle brush was being covered in the new leaves of the oak and cedar trees. Taiga was sitting on a branch of a oak tree, the wind blew in making his charcoal black hair wave along with the swirling eastern wind. His blue jacket was waving and rippling along with his hair, his eyes were zoned out as though his mind was not with his body. With Ryu no Kiba and its sheath strapped to his back and his Katana attached to his belt, Taiga remained prepared for any and all circumstances. He was the only Jounin in Takigakure no sato at the current time and that made him realize it's up to him to protect the village, Taiga began thinking "If i'm the only Jounin here right now, then I should train so that I can defend my village." He placed his arms behind his head grabbing his triceps in a stretching motion.

"Finally there he is" Maku said out loud, as he spotted his sensei doing some sort of stretching motion.  Walking most of the way up to him, Maku made two quick hand signs to use his new hiding like a mole technique to go under ground.  Moving through the ground he caused himself to pop up next to his sensei.

"Tiaga sensei, it seems like its been awhile, though I know you've been busy.  I have to, I am hoping soon I will be strong enough to deserve the rank of chuunin." Maku looked at his sensei, wondering what he would have to say about his new appearance.  "Would you be up to a little training to pass the day away?"

Taiga had quit stretching as he heard a familiar voice calling to him, Taiga watched as Maku walked up the tree the signed seals that Taiga also knew. With the boy now beside him he continued on listening to what he had to say, Taiga smiled training was perfect. Taiga leaped from the tree to the ground below the brush from the trees crunched as to people hit the ground, he had created a clone in the air in order to get the training setup outta the way. Taiga looked up while his clone looked at him, he then spoke "Maku ready? Let's train!" His clone placed his right hand on the handle of the katana attached to his left hip. Taiga was standing there watching his pupil very carefully as he knew the student could go under ground again.

As soon as Maku hear the word ready he started his movement.  Was it a little cheap, probably, but Maku was no fool, He knew the his sensie was light years faster than he was and he needed to get away from him fast if he wanted to have a chance.  The sign tiger flashed as the words "lets train" left Tiaga's lips, and if left uninterrupted Maku would body flicker about 22 meters away from him.

Smiling Maku pulled out his harmonica, an odd weapon for a shinobi sure, but it was small, light and loud and for a sound based genjutsu specialist it was a perfect tool.  Playing a tune Maku activated one of his better techniques Demonic Illusion: Chains of Fantasia.  As the sound played, unless interrupted, Illusionary chains would spring from the ground to envelope the clone preventing movement.  Maku had mastered this technique a few days before, causing the chains to resemble an earth style technique to trick his targets into not realizing it was a genjutsu.

Maku watched expectantly hoping to see the clone trapped

Taiga seen as the boy disappeared using the bodyflicker technique, Taiga quickly threw the seal tiger and used his chakra senses to see the reformation of chakra 22 meters away. With the information he gathered he sat his legs crossed and place his hands locked together in his lap, the clone quickly as Maku began to reappear body flickered to his location as well. When he arrived 3 feet from Maku he saw a smile and then if permitted he would dive forward swinging a right hook for Maku's jaw, hoping to send him flying. If he missed he would have to re-think his strategy quick. The real Taiga remained 22 meters away still sitting as though all was peaceful but what was unknown to everyone he was already strategizing the fight based on his previous encounters and the resent events, his face expression less as his mind continued to race with more and more ideas.

The punch from the clone sent the body of Maku flying through the air, but as it hit the ground a white puff of smoked revealed nothing but wood splintering across the ground. 

Damn, he is so freackin fast Maku thought to himself as the real him finished playing his genjutsu song 6 meters from the clone (if left uninterrupted of course), hopefully with the distraction of the substitution jutsu, the genjutsu would stick this time immobilizing the clone.  If it did than Maku would body flicker right behind the clone and stab it with his wakizashi, And prepare for what to do with the real Tiaga.

If it did not, than Maku would quickly use his hand signs to dissapear underground with the hiding like a mole technique, he would then try to regroup and rethink his strategy.

Taiga remained unobserved by the others as he signed quickly and sank into the ground, his eyes closed shut as he sank away. He knew by observation and memory that Maku was genjutsu user and the instrument proved his theory, with Taiga under ground his ears would be muffled so the genjutsu shouldn't work on the real him. The clone was just about to be caught in the jutsu when he exploded into a puff of smoke, Taiga had withdrew the clone jutsu and was now in hiding. He hoped Maku would fall for his new plan of action, if so then he would become victorious in this fight.

Sighing Maku looked on as the smoke blew away in the wind.  Looking back to where he had known Tiaga was sitting, and saw that he had dissapeared.  Since Maku had been focusing on the clone, he wasn't sure where Tiaga had gone.  Leaping into a tree Maku used his mastery of the transformation technique to appear as a branch with moss covering it.  His instrument was at his lips ready. 

Should Tiaga appear, Maku was ready to blow immediatly, causing a sound that would produce his most powerful genjutsu Demonic Illusion: Devouring Swarm. This would cause an appearance of hundreds of biting flies and bees and wasps to fly from his lips to attack Tiaga  Maku was ready to put most of his chakra into the ability making it hard for Tiaga to break immediately, so as Maku would at least have a chance to react.

Tiaga who had been sitting under ground used his chakra sensory once more and find a concentration of chakra above him, with a quick tiger seal he had body flickered above the area he had felt the chakra if uninterrupted. If he was able to continue his right foot would slam into the concentrated chakra cause a tremendous slam of speed and strength, it would cause the opponent Maku to fly to the ground below. If he was interrupted then he would have to create a new strategy.

Maku attempted to dodge but wasn't quite fast enough.  The blow connected with his left shoulder and arm, Maku felt as it became dislocated almost instantly.  Spinning towards the ground Maku blew into the harmonica, having not letting go with his right hand.  If left uninterrupted then the insects would fly out and towards Tiaga as Maku spun to earth. 

Moments before hitting the ground, Maku would use a substitution jutsu once more to avoid taking damage from the fall.  Should Tiaga be stuck in the genjutsu then Maku would use the hiding like a mole jutsu to go underground to the full 10 meter depth and rest for a moment to regain some of his energy
