Discovery {P, Solo Training} Empty Discovery {P, Solo Training}

Mon Oct 07, 2013 11:59 pm
It is another silent and peaceful day within the village of Takigakure. A light breeze moves over the village, moving the leaves of the Village Tree slightly. Within the village, more specifically the Leader Chambers, sits Saiga at his desk a single sheet of paper in front of him carrying his signature, to the left of him a neatly stacked pile of identical sheets of paper awaited to be signed. Moving mechanically, he begins to sign the papers and stack them to his right. This simple task was nothing to complain about, for he was only governing a minor village. If the land under his control were to be of major status the work load would be more difficult, simply signing his name along documents regarding the villages income was indeed easy in comparison. Though he considered the work easy, he was still not satisfied with such simple tasks, he wanted more. He felt that it was his purpose in life to expand the territory of the village, he knew if he did do so he would be the first. That being a goal he plans to accomplish in the future, he would have to be focused more than ever now, in the present.

After finishing the documents he leans back in the chair he's sitting in and spins around. His blood red eyes stare outside of the window, down at the villagers as they worked and played in happiness. Peaceful times like this were blissful to him. At any moment the village could be placed under siege by an unknown enemy, looking out of the window Saiga pictured the scenario this would most definitely create. Burning buildings and homes, along with slain bodies throughout the area. Such a horrifying scene made him close his eyes and re-open them, to stare at the current reality before him. The village would need more members, strong ninjas, and he would have to grow too, in order to lead them and the village. His eyes were already set on one particular ninja, but there would need to be more than two skilled people within the village. Going on with such numbers would be like waiting to be attacked. Saiga would stand from the chair and stare directly below him, out the window, while he thought on what to do about the villages current situation.

Saiga walks through the village, still dressed in his robe and sandals, he waves at the bypassing villagers smiling widely. He lifts a few kids playfully and kisses a few babies, this is all to build a relationship with the villagers. Currently on his way to the jungle, it would be rude for him to ignore the smiles and waves that went his way. Before going to the jungle he would have to stop at his home, to retrieve something. He makes a left and in his lane of view a large mansion expands in front of him. He stands at the door, before being buzzed in by the maid. Entering the house he immediately goes towards the basement. Now standing at the top of the stares he stares down at the darkness beneath him before flicking on the light. He had always seen his father enter the basement sneaking after him he watched him stare at a single scroll, but he himself never touched it, for his father would find out instantly if it had been tampered with in any way. Now that his leech of a father was dead, there was nothing holding him back from further inspecting the basement.

Moving around a few items, most of it junk. After searching around for several more minutes he sees the scroll covered in dust he lifts it and places it within his robe away from plane view. He exits the house and continues on his way to the jungle. he would open the item there, for fear of being peeked on by his maid and she maybe discovering something valuable. He didn't want to have to kill her if it could be avoided.

A silent pause expands over the jungle, when he finally arrives. The wild screams of monkeys can be heard, along with the singing of grasshoppers. It was another peaceful scene in Takigakure no Sato. Saiga digs into his robe, carefully removing a scroll. Slamming the scroll onto the ground, dust would shoot out from around it. He found it among his fathers items recently, after digging through the basement in their old residence. He was interested in its contents should it be important enough it would need to remain hidden away from public sight. Luckily he was already in the jungle, a place where civilians rarely went, for fear of being robbed by a criminal or mauled by an animal. All that was left now was to open the scroll. Saiga knelt down, carefully unfolding the scroll so not to tear it, in bold letters at the top of the scroll it read:

To Saigon,

To my son the sole inheritor of my will and fortune, Saigon. I trust you have become a Jounin or maybe a higher position within the ninja ranks, you always were a wise child. I suppose it is time for me to leave you one last thing. This. This scroll contains the secrets of our family, something more besides riches, this is our heritage. You as-well as your brother are members of a renowned clan Kinzokutei. There is no specific reason as to why I kept this little secret hidden from you, but just a hunch. Your brother...Saiga, watch him. He is not as innocent as you may believe, there is a stench about him. His eyes, I'm sure you know that they look as if they are stained with blood. Those are a killers eyes, he is not to be trusted. Make sure that he does not find this scroll, I wouldn't trust him to do right after learning these techniques. To ensure that he does not manage to get a hold of this burn it right afterwards. The guideline of the techniques are at the bottom of this scroll, learn them.

Truly Yours,
Father

Saiga would laugh, dropping a lit torch onto the scroll setting it ablaze. In seconds there would be little remaining of the scroll, besides ashes which now settled in the dust naturally. 'That old fool. He really didn't trust me...either way, this is a fine discovery,' he says to himself mentally. According to the scroll, in order for one to use 'Magnet Release' they must find a single magnetizable substance that links to them. This would appear to be rather difficult. Concentrating Saiga would begin to excrete chakra outside of his body and focus it into the earth. He then begin to guide his chakra beneath the earth with pure instinct. Completely avoiding all metals his chakra was not attuned to. Finally he makes a connection. He moves his hand from his robe and raises it vertically, at the same time that he does this the unknown item raises as well. Finally it comes into view. Saiga moves the fragment towards him as he waves his hand. The moment he cancels his control over it, the fragment falls into his palm. Repositioning it between his index and thumb, he raises the fragment to his eye and takes a long look at it.

It's a dark blue color, almost black. After observing it for quite some time he is able to realize the name of the metal, Osmium. According to recent studies, this is the most dense natural metal in the world. Now knowing his element Saiga concentrates his chakra around himself once more. Almost instantly a large amount of Osmium lifts from the ground. Saiga moves the metal through the air, a slight smile appears on his lips. He centers all the metal together and places it under his feet, using it as a platform he raises himself into the air. He continues to rise until he can see over the entire forest. A single thought couldn't help, but to cross his mind, from so high up everything else seemed so small and irrelevant. This is how he hoped to be in the future, standing alone in a limitless position. The place of envy for others.

He lowers the metal, himself as-well, back towards the ground. Removing the metal from underneath his feet, he lifts it once more. This time he begins to focus the metal into different shapes. First, he morphs the Osmium into a diamond shape and then into a triangle, continuing until he gets the hand of it. He attempts to throw the metal away from him, testing its range. As expected, it travels a relatively short distance before falling to the ground. Measuring the range, he takes note that his Osmium dust can only travel 5 meters passively, before becoming useless. It was great to learn things like this now, as opposed to learning it when his life is at stake, under the pressure of a battle field. The pile laying in front of him, Saiga sets his robe on the forest floor before lifting up all of the dust onto it. Having no items with him that were able to transport the dust, at the moment he would have to improvise.

It was a great training and he learned many things while in the forest, but now was time to head back into the inner village. He follows the trail carefully, the sky slowly darkening. He hears a rustle of leaves directly behind him. Without turning a single shard of Osmium sharpened to kill, travels towards the location. Moments later Saiga hears a whimpering sound. The dust returns to him and rests against the robe once more. Although not willing to show it on the outside, Saiga was ecstatic. He had an ability he could claim as his own, something that made him unique and set him away from the others. Walking through the forests he arrives at a checkpoint. The Village Guards stood before him on alert. They part, giving enough room for Saiga to cross and salute him as he passes. He nods towards them, with a slight smile. Running through the village at night while no one was around was quite enjoyable. This is the conclusion he comes to after throwing his robe into the air, along with the dust. He jumps a single time, his robe fitting around him perfectly. As the Osmium dust reaches the ground he immediately hardens it beneath his feet. It raises him above the village and he travels towards his mansion, moving through the air at a constant speed. Not too fast, so that he was able to feel the night breeze.

His residence nearing, he slows down and drops onto the roof. The dust swoops around and follows behind him in a cloud like state. Once entering his room he materializes the dust once more, forming a katana in front of him. He reaches out and snatches the handle, as its suspended in the air, walking through his room he jumps onto the bed, holding the katana in front of him. He hears a knock at his door and immediately hides the dust in its cloud state under his bed. His made enters handing him a cup of hot tea before exiting without a word. he sips the tea while staring at the cloud of dust, repositioning in front of him. He sets the cup aside and forms a single clone beside his bed. This clone different from the academy level on, it was able to move independently, as opposed to shadowing his movements.

The clone begins to concentrate around itself pouring out a strong amount of chakra. Suddenly a cloud of dust rises to his window, before entering his room. It appeared that the clone was also able to use this technique. This would truly prove to be very useful in combat. Saiga knew without a doubt that he was currently the strongest ninja within his village. As he should, being the leader. Although one thing he was sure that he lacked was experience. He had not been in too many life or death matches let alone spars where he was actually challenged. He would have to call upon the ninjas he had trained with earlier. Training with them once more wouldn't be too much to ask. As he thought of these things and many more he slowly began to fall asleep, entering a realm separate from reality.

Discovery {P, Solo Training} Empty Re: Discovery {P, Solo Training}

A roar from within the depths of the Jungle awakes Saiga. He stares around himself, noticing a flock of crows that all seem to have flocked around him. Crows, the known symbol of death. It was not odd for such a bird to choose Saiga to observe, the teenager having murdered plenty in his short lived life. In an attempt to scare the crows away, he peaks his chakra intensely. An image forms behind him, that of a bloodied hyena, which appeared to be laughing hysterically. Saiga remained oblivious to this image, unaware as he stares forward at the birds as they began to flock away in a hurry. He sits up from the log he had been laying on, only a pile of leaves to support his head as he slept earlier. Saiga remains still, summoning a pile of his Osmium dust before him. Something he had thought was a color close to being black, but now appeared to be a pure grayish-blue. With an unneeded hand gesture, the dust buries itself into the ground. Searching for other elements of its kind. Upon the opportunity that an element is found, the dust would grind against it, in order to make it's pieces as minute as their own.

As this occurred, Saiga stands to his feet. His white robe falling to the ground behind him. Only recently, he discovered that he was a member of the Kinzokutei clan. A clan with the innate ability to manipulate dust. Being unknown to the fact that he was a member of such a clan, he had to train his element to perfection. With this now out of the way, he would be able to further improve his skills as a ninja, instead of slowly becoming a figurehead as his ninjas grow in power. He also wanted to be a person of discipline, someone that could dominate the villagers in an obvious manner and he knew that only this would be possible would if he were to train his abilities to a further extent than what they are currently. His idle hands by his sides are raised, as he begins to perform the necessary hand signs to create a clone in front of him. With a poof of smoke the "Exploding" clone appears.

Saiga leaps backwards, and mentally places the clone in attack mode. The clone distances itself from Saiga also, but with no time wasted they both shoot towards each other, clashing dust created kunai against each other. As expected, no one would win this clash, both of them being even in strength. The fact that the clone did not have dust of its own would be used in Saiga's favor. The clone's feet against the earth, Saiga would raise a sharpened spike of dust. This pierces the clones feet, driving straight through it's skin. Saiga creates a dust katana, dispersing the dust under the clones feet, just to re-create it with his hand. The dust takes the shape of a short blade, only 30 centimeters long. With the elegance of a King, Saiga raises the hand holding the blade, and with a turn of his wrist he beheads the clone. At this moment the clone poofs away from existence, all that's is left of it is a cloud of smoke.

'Well, that wasn't fun at all.' Saiga thinks to himself, the experience of combat benefited him very little, but still he would take all that is available to him at the moment. A limited amount of ninja was the evident cause of this predicament. There were very few people to train with, but he would have to make best with what he has, is the current condition he came to after many hours of training alone. The reason he found clones particularly disturbing was for one reason, they didn't bleed. Blood had grown to become a symbol of accomplishment, something not easily obtained from the living or those with fight in them for that matter. Saiga sighs, alone in the jungle this would be the perfect opportunity for someone to assassinate him. The very thought was irking Saiga immensely. This caused a single question to arise within his head. 'How would he be able to sense or become aware of any approaching enemies presences?'

As if answering a question of his own Saiga would began to feel outwards with his chakra. Searching for bypassing presences of chakra. He continued to expand his field of sensory, until it suddenly stopped at around 30 meters. Saiga only recognized a single chakra signature within this range, and it was that of a patrol guard he had become familiar with, allowing him to instantly recognize him. His field of sensory would remain active, as he began to ponder on what he was to do if he wanted to expand his senses. Walking throughout the forest Saiga would began to focus on the chakra signatures around him. Slowly he would begin to gauge the chakra levels of the people around him. Gradually he became able to distinguish the different chakra signatures within the forest. He was now able to tell the difference between a citizens low chakra, and a ninjas above normal chakra.

With the ability to distinguish granted, Saiga was not comfortable with only being able to sense chakra within a 30 meter distance. He figured it would be better for his welfare if he was able to sense beyond 30 meters. Taking a seat on a log, he begins to concentrate by closing his eyes. Meditating in silence, he locates the chakra signature of a mail bird flying through the jungle. He singles out the bird specifically and as it begins to fly away from his range at which he was able to sense, Saiga attempts to follow the bird with his sensory. The bird leaves Saiga's range of sensory by 5 meters before his senses fail, causing him to no longer be able to track the bird. Even in failure, there was an accomplishment of him being able to now sense chakra within 35 meters.

Hours pass, and the sun begins to fall into the coming night sky. Saiga still sits on the log, his mind focused on one thing, training his sensory. What had been difficult to him in the past was now easily accomplished. A raven, with a low amount of chakra, begins to fly out of the range of 30 meters. Saiga focuses on it and begins to follow it, and he does, 20 meters out his normal range. Letting him know his range of sensory was now 50 meters! Saiga sighs loudly, the process of training was tiring, but being able to sense chakra, would prove to be useful in the future. Gathering the collected dust in his robe, he yawns once more.

This sets the conclusion to his day of training, Saiga walks away from the forest towards a trail and exits the Jungle.
