Keiji's Genin Exam

Keiji stepped into the room nervously, sitting at the back of the classroom. He was likely the oldest person here, although he didn't look it. He'd been held off for quite some time from taking his genin exams, but he figured he was ready, after all he'd been through. Other students chatted and mingled, but he knew none of them, so he simply remained silent, and waited for the proctor to arrive.

The door of the Classroom slid open the Instructor 'Tadamichi Kyousuke' a brown haired coal eyed young man with a lazy slightly bored look on his face steps in, He never really wanted to be a Shinobi but his Girlfriend ended up dragging him with her at a young age unfortunately she never made it and he graduated being forced into labor while his soon to be fiance was resting at home, the Teaching job was the best bet for him since he wanted to be a school teacher anyway....but teaching children forty ways to kill someone with a pimento was not exactly his kind of teaching.

He straightens up his posture slightly substituting for this classes teacher on their day of the graduation exam in order to remove suspicion of favoritism among the council "Keiji!! Your up! Come to the front of the room." he calls out lazily waiting for the Genin to stand and follow him before leading him into a room and stating clearly "Perform the Henge, and Bunshin Jutsu to pass, Good Luck!"

Keiji nervously stood up. Of course he was first, how else could things have played out? He slowly walked to the front of the room, his ears lying flat, and his tail quite literally between his legs, as he took his place in front of the proctor, who told him to preform the clone, and transformation techniques. A weight lifted from his shoulders and his ears perked up, as those were two fairly easy techniques. He started to preform the Clone technique first, making the simple hand seals with his sweaty hands Everyone was watching him for sure, wondering who he was, why he was here, but he tried to block the staring feeling he got in the back of his head. He was nervous, and it was likely just his nerves acting up that caused him to be so afraid. He preformed the clone technique, creating two opposites of himself on either side. He put one hand up, and the other clones did the same. He looked down the line, cracking his knuckles, and saw his clones mimic the same motion. They seemed ok. He struck one of them, and it dispersed back to nothing. He did the same to the clone on his right, aiming a swift kick at his chest, which caused him to disappear in a cloud of vapor. He looked up at the proctor for a moment, hoping to hear praise, before returning to his tasks. Next was the transformation jutsu. Oh, how useful this would have been in helping him escape that missing ninja hideout, but it was no good, he had never learned the technique while in captivity, nor had he ever really had the chance to try and use it. There was no use in crying over the past, of course, and if he ever found himself back there in that missing ninja hide out, he was pretty sure he could get himself out of there with the skills he would learn as a shinobi. He realized that this was probably not the best time to be having a flashback, but he couldn’t help but let his mind stray to revenge, recompense, and retribution. Someday, he knew he had to go back there, and take them down. They were probably planning on focusing on capturing other kekei genkais now, stealing more and more bloodlines. He shook his head abruptly, realizing that he’d had another flash back. He’d have to work on that, make sure it didn’t happen again.

He made the hand signs necessary in order to preform transformation jutsu correctly, and he found himself wondering halfway through, who exactly was he planning on turning into? He figured transforming into the proctor was what most would be doing, but he wanted to set himself apart from the rest. And since he had not ever really been told he could not, he chose to transform into his step-sister, Kirameki. He turned into a perfect copy of her. He did a check on just how well he’d preformed it by looking at his reflection in the window. It seemed he’d gotten her long crimson hair right, and his eyes were exactly the same as hers anyways, except for fact that his left eye was a little lighter then his right, which he’d fixed in the transformation. Her cat ears, which were snow white, were also correct, although they were concealed under her headband. He didn’t understand why she tried to hide them, Kei didn’t mind having them at all. Then again, he’d never had the chance to be teased about it, seeing as he was kidnapped before he was old enough to even attend the academy, and held hostage for almost his entire childhood. He looked up at the proctor, not sure if he’d broken the rules by not turning into him, and instead choosing his sister as a base. He thought about that for a moment, though, and realized how stupid that sounded. He’d transformed, alright, and he’d done it correctly, so he figured he wouldn’t get in trouble for that. He snapped out of his little tangent, realizing he was still in the form of Kira. He dispersed the transformation technique, looking at his reflection in the window again to make sure he’d not forgotten anything. His dark hair was his own, his left eye was slightly brighter again, and, well, he’d shrunk a few inches. Being placed under an age slowing seal as he had for most of his life had a tendancy to make you shorter then everyone else, among other things. He hoped he’d done ok, he didn’t detect any major mistakes on his part, but that was for the proctor to decide.

“Did I do ok? Did I pass?” He asked, his ears perking up as he looked at the proctor hopefully.

The proctor would dig into his bag producing a genin headband with the Sunagakure symbol proudly engraved on the front. Holding this headband out the the said student smiling proudly, "Congrats Keiji on passing your genin exam. Go forth and hone your skills further as a Suna ninja." The proctor would smile as he scribbled notes with his other hand into the note book about the good potential that Keiji had shown this day.

Kei would smile, accepting the headband, and dashing out of the classroom, eager to tell his sister he'd passed.

The proctor would pack up his things into his back and walk out of the class room wishing the genin best of luck.
