Inijo's Training {Solo, invite only, NK} Empty Inijo's Training {Solo, invite only, NK}

Thu Mar 07, 2013 10:07 pm
Inijo was sitting, on his two knees, on a small pillow. In front of him was a small table, which leg’s are no more than five inches tall. On the table, there was a bowl of ramen. The bowl was plain, white, no images or text on it. In the bowl there was long, thin noodles, and water, which was giving off steam due to how hot the ramen was. Inijo was in simple robes. They were black, with long sleeves that went to his wrists. A part of his chest was revealed, though only a small amount. He wore pants with them, that went along with the shirt, they were black and went down to his ankles, no further, he was always afraid he would trip on long legged pants in battle, if he had ever joined one by being forced to. He blew gently, onto the bowl of ramen. He prefered to allow his food the chance to cool down before he feasted, never preferring to eat hot food unless it was traditional to eat that way.

He put his head down, looking at his knees. He put both palms against each other, and began to pray. “Thank you for another meal.” he said, a slight bit of drool in his mouth from the smell of the pork flavored ramen.

He picked up his special chopsticks, they were a weapon as well as a tool to eat with. He picked up a few noodles in one group, picking them up more in the center of the chopsticks, due to the fact that anything near the pointed end would cut through mostly anything. He stuck the noodles in his mouth, making sure the pointed ends came nowhere near his skin, making sure they didn’t come into contact.

He soon finished his pork flavored ramen, one of his more favored flavors, besides beef. He began to drank the water from the bowl, tipping the bowl against his lips. It was hot, the water was still heated up. He tilted his head back a bit, and let the water flow into his mouth. He pulled it away at first, it had burnt his tongue a bit, but he put it back up against his lips and continued drinking, nearly every last drop, except for a small bit of the pork flavored water had been swallowed. “Ah.” He said, finishing off the water.

He stood up, picking up the more cooled off bowl. He walked over into his kitchen, which wasn’t too far away, a few simple steps. The only thing that separated his kitchen from his dining room was the counter, and even then there was a quite averaged sized opening, about the length of three doorways. He passed through into his kitchen, and put his bowl into a silver sink. Not real silver, or he assumed it wasn’t anyways. He ran some water in it, and left it there. He normally did this after lunch and breakfast, he would leave it until night time, so he could wash his dishes all at once for the next day. He had a few spares in case he forgot to wash the dishes that day, though he didn’t believe in having a lot due to his lack of family, he didn’t have anyone over, even on holidays. His family was dead, most of them anyways. His brother was presumed to be dead, he expected it so. Seeing as he was sent on a high ranking mission, and hasn’t returned yet after a few months. He didn’t really have any friends over for dinner on holidays, it was usually just him, so there was no meaning in owning any more dishes than he already had, just enough for him.

Inijo walked to his front door. He had planned a day full of training after his lunch, and he normally never had enjoyed ruining plans, even his own. He opened his front door, having put his chopsticks in a special pocket that would allow for him to avoid being cut, he moved outside of his home, then turned around and locked his door, making sure it was locked by attempting to twist the doorknob. It didn’t turn all the way, which meant it was locked, though was it closed? He thought, sometimes his door wouldn’t shut all the way despite being slammed a few times. He pushed in, it was closed. He pulled it shut just in case, though. He turned and sighed, he was staring at the large window. He was still inside, he was simply in a large building on the mountain. The buildings in Kumogakure were built on the mountains in Kumogakure, or large rocks, though he was sure it was mountains, considering thats what everyone had called them. There was a way down to the ground, a front door into the buildings. He headed for it, outside of the building and onto the ground, the more preferred place for anyone to train at, rather than training at an angle at a mountain. Other’s, who may have disliked the ground, preferred to train on top of the buildings, and then there was the few who risked their lives to train on the side of the mountains.

He walked through the village, on the ground which was mixed with both small rocks, pebbles, and slightly larger rocks, along with dirt. Dirt was the majority in the ground, though the amount of small pebbles was pretty close up to being tied for the majority, therefore being quite close to gaining the majority as well, all that was needed was a few foreign pebbles brought by perhaps wind, maybe a storm, or maybe a child collecting them losing his bag of pebbles and them being added to the ground below. There was little life growing from the ground, he would occasionally see a few spots of grass, a small group consisting of four or five blades of the green little oxygen givers. It was rare to see a tree up here, though there were a few planted by the villagers a while ago, or recently, that survive the weather up here. Due to Kumogakure being so close to the sky, the village suffered most during heavy storms. At least, that was Inijo’s opinion. Nice weather was often prayed for everyday, or had been while his family was still alive. He often still prayed every night for nice weather, very few times forgetting the family tradition.

Inijo began to think, what else besides training has he planned for today? His memory was vague at the moment, he was more focused on training for today. He sighed, perhaps he should have gathered what he would be doing before had headed out of his home today. He needed to train... and.. shop, yes, that was it. He was running out of food, and supplies. His supplies were mainly cleaning supplies, his family quite enjoyed a clean house, and some of the cleanliness habits rubbed onto Inijo. He had wooden floors in most rooms, including his kitchen, though his bathroom was small tiles, decorated and placed in a roman fashion. The reason his bathroom wasn’t a special, polished wooden floor like the rest was due to him not wanting to replace his floor every time it was ruined when he accidentally splashed water outside of his shower when bathing.

He needed simple supplies, nothing needed to memorize, he knew what he had needed. But for training, he noticed he had no idea on what he would be doing. Perhaps some simple Taijutsu training? Nothing big, just simple basic moves. Simple side kicks on training dummies, punchies, ex cetera, though that would be rather simple for some training.. Perhaps he could perform a series of combinations on it? Though that’s rather advanced, and he didn’t want to go too in depth in his training. Perhaps simple Ninjutsu technique, E ranking ones he had learned in the academy. A review would be rather helpful, not really the best form of training, though useful. The few E ranked ninjutsu that were required to pass the academy could often help a shinobi, despite their rank, whether they're a genin or a kage, they were quite useful. The substitution technique for example, E ranked however it could save anyone who knew it from even an S ranked technique, or S ranked techniques. The clone technique was also semi useful, not as useful as the substitution technique, though useful in it’s own way, though once learning a higher ranked cloning technique the clone technique would become slightly obsolete. Then there was the transformation technique, capable of changing the user’s appearance when in either a quick jam or when the user is trying to sneak into somewhere, or out, perhaps trying to trick someone into talking to. There were many uses for this one, though chakra signatures made the jutsu rather easily spotted, and the user would be discovered. Depending on the situation, the user could be in trouble. He rather enjoyed these three techniques, and had decided to actively use them when his life wasn’t at stake, or to use them when he needed to, to save his own life.

He headed for the training grounds, a building where shinobi of Kumogakure could train. The area was limited however, whatever, besides the training dummies and targets set up, you broke, you had to pay for, which made it a pain to use higher ranking techniques in a ‘simple spar’ for more higher ranking shinobi, though for what Inijo was doing it would make him quite satisfied if he managed to perform all three of the E ranked techniques there, without hassle.

It was slightly windy out. There was a nice, cool breeze that blew not only rather calmly, however often, making it slightly chilly out as well. The sun was shining overhead, launching it’s powerful rays from it’s spanning point, the sun, down to earth and beyond. THen again, thinking about it, earth could be up from the sun, nothing was stopping it from being that way, or it could be on the right, maybe the left even. There was no real way of telling, it had appeared the universe had no directions such as north, east, south and west.

There were very few clouds in the sky. One or two were visible, others may have been blocked by the buildings, assuming that there were any others. The day was nice, he doubted that bad weather would soon set in, such as rainstorms consisting of rain thunder and lightning, tornados were even more doubtful, the wind wasn’t powerful enough, and hail storms, it wasn’t cold enough for that. Then again, thinking about it there have been a few hail storms mid summer.

He continued to walk on towards the training grounds. The ground continued to be hard, and made up of a majority of dirt and pebbles, and the sky continued on to be blue. The sun continued to shine. The only problem was that time seemed to be standing still, or Inijo was too bored to notice it fly by.

After an hour or so of walking through Kumogakure he had arrived at the training grounds. He lived rather far away from the grounds, though he didn’t really mind. He made sure his head band was tied around his forehead, the metal plate which had Kumogakure’s symbol on it, in the center, was facing the front allowing people to view from which village was Inijo a shinobi of. Being a ninja of a certain village doesn’t really mean you were born in that village, Inijo had heard a few cases where missing nin bribed their way into villages, using special objects belonging to enemy nations to gain access into the villages, and be declared a shinobi of a village once more. Often though, once missing nin, a shinobi would stay missing nin.

Inijo walked into the training grounds, it seemed to be abandoned at the moment, all, including him, were here, subtract everyone else not including Inijo. He was the only one there, and for once the normal training grounds full of sweating Jounin, or young energetic genin ready to waste hours worth of energy on becoming and growing stronger. He smiled, he wasn’t like most shinobi who entered the shinobi academy to become strong, to become great, or just for fun. He entered so that he could protect those he knew, the innocent. So he could slaughter down the guilty souls and send them to their next world, presumably hell. He did not blame shinobi, he blamed their leaders for the major destruction shinobi mainly caused.

As he entered the center of the training arena, he felt a nice cool breeze that slightly woke him up more than he was. It was a signal for training, he rapidly burst into performing a quick series of hand signs multiple times. Each time ended with a cloud of smoke appearing with a poof at Inijo’s side, farther away each time. Clone’s appeared, all intangible and formed of simple illusions. They were not solid and therefore could not attack, their main purpose was simply to distract the opponent and form up a strategy with them, making this technique on of the most useless. He had created up to ten before starting to make fail copies, though it hadn’t tired him out seeing as they were simple E ranking techniques. He continued on casting the technique, occasionally finding a perfect copy among the constant fails. He achieved up to twenty more successes, fifteen fails. He had thirty successful clone making attempts in all, and had cast the technique a total of forty five times. He was slightly tired, and had decided to rest for a while.

After an hour of rest, he got back up and continued training, and stopped to consider what next. He was rather rusty in the replacement technique, or more commonly known as the substitution technique. He mainly called it the replacement technique, he had trouble with the word substitution. He decided on that one. He scanned the area and grinned slightly, a simple test he would now conduct in peace. He performed the proper hand signs in a quite quick series. Upon finishing, he had replaced himself with a training dummy about ten feet away. Both the training dummy and Inijo was surrounded by white clouds of smoke, which soon disappeared. The wind had cast the clouds away, revealing both the training dummy which soon fell due to being moved out of the ground, and a grinning Inijo.

He was nearly complete with these three warm ups, now he simply needed to perform the third of the rather basic techniques. He performed hand signs quite perfectly, he was going rather quickly as well. It wasn’t a long string of hand signs within the series, there was only a few. By the time he finished, he clapped the finally two signs together and a cloud of smoke once again filled the training grounds. He was transformed into a rather simple creature, a human being. In his opinion humans were rather simple minded. Though it wasn’t any normal human, it was his father. He looked at his reflection in the nearby laboratories, where there was toilet stalls, sinks, and mirrors. He cancelled the technique and went back to the training grounds, grinning and thinking what he should do next.

It took him nearly half an hour to consider in what to do. He decided he would test his accuracy. It had been a while since he has had simple Kunai throwing lessens. He was short on Kunai though had quite the perfect replacement, two chop sticks. Two oh so special chopsticks. He took them out of their oh so special pouch, which prevented the chopsticks from cutting Inijo in anyway. He held onto the handling end, the other end was mainly used for cutting. The first he aimed rather downward, a little below his target. This was not on accident, it had a purpose. He flipped the next chop stick, holding onto the center of it, avoiding from cutting himself. He tossed it the same as the other, though only harder. The handling end would hit the other’s handling end, making the first chopstick tossed aim upwards, and hit the target where it’s heart shou. Had it not been a simple training dummy, it would have been dead right then and there. Thankfully though, it was a simple training dummy, which led to Inijo getting out of trouble. He went over and claimed both his chopsticks, and headed out, for shopping.

He began to attempt to remember what he needed... he should have made a list after all.. it seemed his memory wasn’t as good as he figured it be.
