Jashin whistled cockily as it seemed he and Attuu Uzumaki seemed to have steamed off the competition. As Jashin saw that the girl known as Minorin had whacked him with something, sending him flying, Jashin bursted out laughing as he stood up and pointed at him smiling with laughter, "Have a nice swim, you lose-" as he was cut off he himself was smacked ahead. He went soaring through the sky, where his eyes expanded as he saw the waterfall and how deep it went. I'm seriously on a boat with a couple of wackos...! As he fell, SMACK! Against the water, he rubbed his face and began to swim at the same time in the freezing water. Want to know how he ignored the pain? He already knew he would survive. The water was cold, he managed to get close enough to grab onto Attuu. It wasn't because he was fast enough, but because the water was pulling all of them in.

As he grabbed onto Attuu he gasped for air lifting his head up, he wanted to speak but there was a lot of water pouring at his face. The sound of draining water at a long distance remained. They were getting closer to the waterfall, Attuu had to act rashly. He made a handsign, which channeled chakra to his feet. He then climbed Attuu's back, getting onto his head as he made a jump ahead of the boat. This was where he was standing, literally on water. He then put his hands out to stop the boat, but with his little strength he was pushed right backwards. 5,000 Drop waterfall...The boat would land right off the tip of the waterfall. Damnit at this rate I'll be the only one living... Jashin would make his way to the bottom of the boat, holding it as they fell. He didn't scream, he didn't say a word. He just acted as soon as possibly until...

CRASH!

Infiltrating the Camp - Page 2 Empty Re: Infiltrating the Camp

Mon Nov 19, 2012 1:17 pm
Denkiteki noticed the small nod Kairashi made towards him, knowing it had to do with the two boy’s in his squad. I might have to do something about those too. If it had been any other sort of situation, a D-Rank perhaps, he wouldn’t have minded the two joking around so much. But for a serious mission, their behavior was unacceptable. And I’m just sitting here and allowing them to do that,

Denkiteki turned towards the three Genin who were sitting further up the boat, wondering how he came about being their team leader. This must be some form of joke, no way a recently promoted Chuunin could be expected to be able t control those two. Of course, maybe the Mizukage hadn’t known that the two would act they way they did.

Denkiteki hadn’t really been paying attention to the speed of the current, until a bit after Kairashi pointed it out. Yeah, that is a bit weird. He wondered if it would be best for them to try and pull the boat onto shore, and go the rest of the way on foot. No, this way is much faster. At least for the rest of the group maybe.

It seemed that Attu hadn’t listened to Denkiteki at all, saying something about ‘hearing fun’ in a loud voice. He sighed at that, I suppose I’ll have to do something about that..

Denkiteki was wearing his Chuunin uniform, which was well fitted to his body. This made it difficult for him to use his new ability, the Power of the White Snake. Rolling up his sleeve, he wondered if he could use his snake ability to scare the Uzumaki, or if he might have to strangle him for a few seconds to get him to be quiet. This probably won’t be a good idea, but if he isn’t going to listen to me I’m going to have to-

Cut off once again, this time while deep in thought, Denkiteki watched as an orange cloak seemed to grow around Minorin, You’ve got to be kidding me.

Attuu was the first to be struck, being knocked off the boat by Minorin, a single tail swishing back and then striking him softly in the back mere seconds after he had yelled again. “Minorin, that’s enough!” It seemed his words fell upon deaf ears once more, because as Bee got up to laugh at Attuu, he to was knocked off by Minorin’s tail.

Denkiteki was extremely annoyed by the two boys, but seeing Minorin engage in the foolishness as well drove him over the edge. Seven small snakes grew from Denkiteki’s arm and moved through the air towards Denkiteki’s students.

Two snakes went to Attuu while he was flopping around in the water, grabbing him by his feet and lifting him into the air. If they caught a hold of him, he would be lifted up and held 2 meters above the boat, hanging upside down.

Two others would be sent after Jashin, catching him as he was sent soaring through the air. They would wrap around his arms and torso, restricting his movement in his upper body and making it near impossible to move his arms a. Denkiteki didn’t see any way that he, or Attuu, would be able to stop the snake appendages from grabbing them. But they were unpredictable, so if they tried then maybe they would find a way. If Denkiteki successfully grabbed his as well, he would also be held above the boat, next to Attuu.

Three Snakes went to Minorin, who was also the closest to Denkiteki. Her cloak would be gone as the three would wrap around her, so it wouldn’t be as difficult for him to catch her. He would send two around her arms and torso, one wrapping around her upper torso and upper arms, the other around her forearms and lower torso. This would be what he had done to Jashin as well. Unlike what he had done with Jashin however, Denkiteki would also have a snake coil around Minorin’s legs, wrapping them together. She too, would be held above the boat, with the rest of Denkiteki’s team.

“You three are shinobi of the Mist Village, and this is an S-Rank mission. I have no clue as to why the three of you are here though, it’s fairly obvious that none of you possess the maturity to take on any sort of mission.” It was fairly obvious that Denkiteki was angry, from what he said and the tone of his voice.

He would have continued, gone onto further detail as to why he didn’t think they were ready for this sort of mission, but he began to hear the waterfall ahead. Sighing, Denkiteki willed the snakes to throw his students towards the shore. There wasn’t much on it, besides a few trees here and there. Perhaps one of his squad mates would hit one and fall unconscious, and then he wouldn’t have to deal with them.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Denkiteki looked over at Kairashi for a moment, “Well, this mission just seemed to be getting worse.”

Denkiteki carefully exited the boat, using the water walking technique to stand on the water. He quickly made his way to the front of the boat, and began pushing its nose towards the shore, forcing the rest of the boat to go towards the shore as well. After beaching the boat, he would turn to Kairashi, assuming that he hadn’t disembarked and left Denkiteki along, “I think it would be best if we split the 3 of them up. How about you take Min, and try and find another way towards the base? I’ll try and keep Dumb and Dumber occupied for awhile, lead them the wrong way or something. That way you and Minorin can have enough time to investigate without having to worry about those two”

Denkiteki had beached the boat 15 meters away from the trio who he had thrown, and made sure that he spoke quietly enough that none of them could hear him. He wondered what Kairashi’s opinion on the plan would be, and if it would be better if he just sent Kairashi alone. No, Minorin won’t act as stupid if she isn’t around those two. It will be fine.

Infiltrating the Camp - Page 2 Empty Re: Infiltrating the Camp

Kairashi looked at the group again, Minorin was awfully quiet just sitting there with her bag, the man tried to hide his curiosity as the girl let out a little sigh, an orange chakra cloak swirling into existence around her frame. Either that's an impressive illusion or she's a bijuu, explains why she was picked for this mission. I can't help but wonder why I was selected, they all seem to think I'm powerful enough though. Time to put my all into this. The sound of the falls started to gather in the distance, the mans prediction had been inaccurate, as it turns out the stream led to a waterfall how wonderful for the small boat. With a sigh Kairashi turned his head for a moment, the light sound of dropping water interuppting his innermost thought he would turn back to see Min and the other two being dangled in the air by Denkiteki. Ah, snakes how interesting, I'll have to keep that information for when I need help with poisons. Watching the boys quick speech about the level of maturity on this mission, he chuckled to himself the sound of the imminent waterfall crashing on ahead. Being addressed by Denkiteki he would shrug slightly, "it can always be worse, be thankful that this is just immaturity we are dealing with, right?"

Watching the boy walk along the water Kairashi would sit back relaxing in his seat on the boat, content to let him handle the situation. As the boat touched the sand he would stand up quickly dropping onto dry land, not even showing any shakiness from the time spent in the boat. He would tip his hat to Denkiteki lazily flicking his left hand the ninjato seeming to appear in his hand. even as he drew it quickly from the inside of his jacket he could feel the shakiness in his limbs becoming a distant memory the blade strengthening his resolve almost instantly. He motioned towards a roughly cut path leading away to where some smoke had appeared on the horizon, "by the looks of it that is the camp, I'll take Min as you ask and find a way to pass myself off as one of their members. Good luck with these two, we should be back rather swiftly, if I should be waving this yellow handkerchief in the air it means we are bringing company." He brandished the yellow handkerchief to the other three for a moment before fixing it back up his right sleeve with a wave of his hand, giving it the appearance of just disappearing. Smiling to the group he gave Minorin a little motion egging her on to follow him up the path a bit further, pointing out a small grove of trees that would afford them a vantage point. It was just starting to be time for the mid day meal, it would only be logical to expect a patrol to be passing this way quickly and rather unexpectedly of the two hidden back among the leaves, Kairashi's outfit just barely hiding among the leaves.

As he waited the corner of the mans mouth would twitch upwards, just as he suspected a group of two people was just starting down the path back towards where they had beached the boat. Stepping out from the trees behind the two he would stretch out his right hand, his fingers looking like claws in the light as he wrapped them across the persons mouth and nose, twisting his arm out straight a tell-tale snap would be just audible, causing the second person to turn in surprise. Just in time to see Kairashi's left arm bringing the tip of his ninjato straight towards the persons eye. With a playful grin he would seem to slide forward the ninjato slicing cleanly through the bone of the eye socket and back of the skull. Pushing forward further the man would drop into a crouch swiftly, pinning the person down his ninjato's handle sticking straight up as he chuckled softly and reached to withdraw his weapon from its gruesome sheathe. He would turn back towards the trees, the corner of his mouth twitching upwards again, he would carefully dip his fingers into the dirt where blood had not been spilled by his victims. Reaching up under his left eye Kairashi would smear the dust lightly over his tattoo obscuring it from view. Whistling to himself the man would strip the two of their still clean uniforms and toss one back into the trees as he stepped down the path further and ducked back towards the stream to change his attire. Moments later he would call out to Minorin, "ready to set out?" Waiting for her to call out an affirmative Kairashi would check his reflection making sure his tattoo had been properly concealed. Storing his clothes into a small backpack he would sling it over one shoulder and turn to head out for the camp, it was time to gather some information.

Walking boldly into the camp under his disguise Kairashi would keep his banter with the locals to a minimum, steering clear of any that wore their ninja tools out in the open as he worked his way towards the large pavilion that had been set up to receive meals in. If information is the goal I will find a central table and pretend to share a meal with these fools. His last instructions to Minorin before they had both made their separate ways into the camp had been to mingle with those that were obviously not shinobi all the while keeping close enough to overhear the conversations of those that seemed to be shinobi or wore distinctive outfits and uniforms, if they were lucky they would hear something of worth and could bring it back. If they hadn't met back up by dusk on the road towards the boat they were to assume the worst and create a distraction away from the meeting point and then lead the pursuers off deeper into the main portion of the island before looping back, ditching the pursuers and heading for the boat. Overall this mission should be done well before dusk but he had set that amount of time just to be safe.

Infiltrating the Camp - Page 2 Empty Re: Infiltrating the Camp

Minorin froze; just now she realized that Denkiteki had yelled at her as she deactivated her bijuu cloak. Well, at least their precious leader was reacting to something now, only it was the wrong something! She turned around to glare at Denkiteki and to tell him that since he hadn’t been able to control the rest of the team she had been forced to. But no. Of course something odd would happen right at that moment to keep her from opening her mouth to say a single word.

She watched as seven cords grew from Denkiteki’s arms and four of them shot towards both Attuu and Jashin, they zoomed right past her in order to reach the other two. They were not cords. They were snakes.

Minorin was horrified as three snakes wrapped around her body. It would be one thing if they were normal snakes! But they just GREW out of his freaking arms! She wriggled in an attempt to be set loose. Minorin did not enjoy this kind of treatment at all.

She was grateful that she had chosen to wear pants instead of a skirt, she was being held in the air like some sort of animal. That was embarrassing enough.

Minorin snarled at Denkiteki as he rambled on about Attuu, Jashin, and herself lacking the maturity to take on any sort of mission. He was so wrong! At least she had made the boys quiet; he hadn’t moved an inch and had allowed the two them to potentially blow the team’s cover.

Just as she was about to say something she was flung through the air and onto the shore by Denkiteki. She hit the sand hard and sat there dazed for a moment. Then she got up and brushed the sand off of her outfit, that boy was so rude. Minorin really didn’t care if there was a waterfall or not, he had just carelessly thrown her!

She watched as Denkiteki and Kairashi shared words, Denkiteki only succeeded in making her angrier and angrier. But she had no problem with Kairashi; she wondered what he thought of Denkiteki’s poor management skills.

She crossed her arms across her chest and let out a “humph!” of disapproval as she watched Denkiteki beach the boat with Kairashi relaxing in the back of it. Why had she needed to be thrown out of the boat then? This was some form of abuse, she would be filing some sort of complaint later. She turned her head to watch Attuu and Jashin for a while and looked back once she heard the boat stop scraping against the sand.

Minorin couldn’t hear what Kairashi and Denkiteki were saying but watched as Kairashi brandished a yellow handkerchief in the direction of her, Attu, and Jashin. And then he moved it towards his right sleeve and it vanished right before her eyes. He had to be some kind of magician. He then smiled towards the group and motioned towards Minorin to follow him. It seemed he had discovered a small pathway, Minorin hadn’t noticed in the uproar that had proceeded only moments ago.

She followed Kairashi up the path to a grove of small trees they would use for cover. The leaves hid the small girl well but it seemed to be a little harder for the tall man to stay completely hidden, this would not prove to be a problem though.

As the two waited a team of two persons came down the path and were headed towards the beached boat they had used to get to the island. Minorin watched in surprise as Kairashi suddenly stepped out from their cover and behind the two people. He then stretched out his right hand and wrapped his claw-like fingers around one person’s mouth and nose before twisting his arm outwards. Minorin heard the person’s neck snap and continued to watch in a state of shock as the other member of the two man team turned around in surprise only to be stabbed right through his eye by Kairashi’s ninjato. Kairashi the pushed further and dropped swiftly into a crouch successfully pinning the person down. Minorin didn’t know exactly how she felt at this moment. This was the first time she’d ever watched another human being die. But it had been necessary hadn’t it? It wasn’t as if they were killing for the hell of it.

Minorin’s eyes were transfixed on the two dead bodies until her mind registered movement going on where Kairashi was placed. He had turned back towards the trees Minorin was still hiding in and a faint smile seemed to play on his lips as he dug his fingers into dirt that was unspoiled by the blood of his victims. He then took said dirt to cover up the cross-shaped tattoo that lay just beneath his left eye.

She then watched as Kairashi turned back to the dead bodies and whistled a tune while he stripped the two of their uniforms. Minorin was amazed. He hadn’t even reacted to killing two people then and there. It was a fascinating thing to her; she was so shocked, her legs felt like jelly as she crouched behind the leaves. Then Kairashi suddenly tossed one of the uniforms back into the trees, it smacked Minorin in the face. She hadn’t been expecting that. She wasted no time in thinking about it though; it was obvious her small body would not fit into the uniform that had hit her in the face. She performed the transformation jutsu and made her appearance resemble that of her mother’s when she had been in her teenage years. She now looked like an older Minorin; she quickly pulled on the uniform and stepped out of the trees. As she did so Kairashi called out to her, asking if she was ready to set out. Minorin hesitated a moment before answering with a yes, she was still a little bothered by what she had just seen. The two then made their way to the camp in their disguises.

As they walked into the camp Minorin smiled shyly at the locals she passed, it was weird not being looked at as though she was a child. In fact it really creeped her out that she wasn’t still being treated like one. She steered her body towards the center of the camp which resembled a kind of courtyard. Some rough looking women were there and Minorin supposed she should attempt to “befriend” them. As she came closer to the other females she realized how soft and meek she looked. They were all sun-tanned and looked as if they did hard work, compared to them she was nothing but a little fluffy marshmallow. She blushed a little but tried to play it off as if she were a little “buzzed”; she smiled wildly at the group and sat right next to the one that seemed to lead the small band of females.

The woman laughed at her, “She must be drunk! What does she think she’s doing here!?” The woman then roughly prodded Minorin in the side with her fist, “What? Are you one of the guys’ little whores?”

Minorin was quite taken back by all of this behavior but she put her arm around the woman and leaned into her. She then proceeded to laugh cheerfully and nodded, “I guess you could call me that!” She really had no idea what the word “whore” meant but she’d be one for the time being if it got her the right kind of information.

As the group laughed at her she scanned the camp, taking in everything with a lazy look on her face. “So this is a really nice place you guys have got here, I can’t wait until things start rolling, can you?”

The woman she was leaning on looked at her and grinned wolfishly, “Don’t you know things are already falling into place? Pretty soon we’ll have enough members to wipe out that silly little village those idiots call Kirigakure!”

Minorin’s jaw clenched, how dare they think that Kirigakure could be wiped out so easily. She smiled sweetly at the woman, “Is that so? Already? Oh my, things are getting so exciting these days.”

Then a man came up to the group, he had been chattering nearby, talking about using water jutsu to bring Kirigakure down to the bottom of the sea, that and explosives. The man had a rough voice, it sounded much like gravel scraping against pavement. He was obviously a shinobi and so Minorin bowed her head onto the shoulder of the woman as he approached.

He whistled, “So, what are you ladies talking about?” He laughed a little after saying this; Minorin could tell he was facing the rough woman and herself by the direction his voice was coming from. She nuzzled the woman’s shoulder and leaned in deeper. The woman laughed, “Well, Yuzuru, we were just getting acquainted with a new little friend,” the woman jostled Minorin as she said the word friend, “Only she seems to be a little drunk right now, you can meet with her later.”

Minorin was so glad that this woman seemed to be respected despite not being a shinobi, she was pretty sure she just got her out of a horrible situation. The man laughed and walked back over to his shinobi friends. Minorin lifted her head and got up from her seat next to the woman, she made sure to wobble a little as she did so.

She smiled at the group and told them she’d see them later in a drowsy voice before slipping out of the camp and towards the meeting point. She met up with Kairashi on the road to the beached boat by dusk and made their way back to the boat. Minorin hoped the information she had gained would be of use.
