  • Echoing Pool

The sacred pool within the temple is a shimmering, reflective surface believed to hold the collective memories of the Shinkou clan. It is said that those who gaze into its depths during the ritual may receive fleeting glimpses of past Meigan holders' experiences and the profound knowledge stored within Yuumei.

The temple at the heart of the Land of Shadows, known as the "Temple of the Deep," is a place of profound significance to the Shinkou clan and the bearer of the Meigan bloodline. Despite being situated on an island once the foundation of the Village Hidden in the Abyss, the temple remains untouched by the natural disaster that consumed the rest of the island.

The temple's architecture is a blend of traditional and mystical elements. It is constructed primarily of dark, weathered stone that seems to have absorbed the essence of the shadowy riverbanks. The temple's design features intricate carvings and reliefs depicting Yuumei, the source of Shinkou's powers. A central courtyard, surrounded by a low stone wall, serves as an outdoor space for meditation and rituals.

Soft candlelight flickers within the temple's hallowed halls, casting eerie shadows on the ancient stone walls. The interior is adorned with tapestries and artworks that tell the story of the Shinkou clan and their unique connection to Yuumei. An imposing statue of Yuumei stands at the heart of the temple, overlooking a sacred pool said to hold the reflection of Meigan awakenings. This pool plays a pivotal role in the "Into the Abyss" mission, serving as the final stage of the ritual.
