The Power of Nepotism Pt. 1

Upon allowing Kiko into the village she invited her to into her office so they could begin the proper paperwork to make him an official member. Junko would point out land marks and various buildings to give her a bit of a tour. Though as they walked Junko couldn’t help but feel a little awkward around her clone, but she was beginning to be okay with their situation. Once in her office she’d begin filling out the paperwork with Kiko as she granted her the rank of Tokubetsu Jounin. After it had completed, Junko would congratulate Kiko on her new postion and offer her a bit of the money they had set aside for such occasions. She then would offer Kiko a bow before speaking warmly to her.

”Congrats my dear, I believe you’ll serve this village brilliantly. Now why don’t you go out and explore a bit, I think you’d love the Shinoda Springs district”

Junko would listen to her response and accept what answer Kiko gave her. After exchanging goodbyes she’d watch her dear clone exit the office. Turning her attention back to the paperwork she’d sigh slightly as she began to prepare a similar document for Jun.

Kiko Tsukiko added to the roster as a Tokubetsu Jounin

As they entered the village, Kiko stuck closely by Junko’s side. She had never been in a settlement this large and felt a bit overwhelmed by the amount of people that bustled through the streets. Admittedly she was having a bit of a hard time focusing on Junko’s words as she weaved through the various people that got in her way. Thankfully soon enough they found their way to her office that sat at the very top of the Kage tower. Junko would usher her inside, and then after sitting behind her desk, she’d begin to fill out a few different documents. Occasionally she’d have Kiko sign her initials or her full name, but she didn’t have much else to assist with. After about an hour they would finish filling it out, and Junko would give it a stamp of approval. Her creator would then congratulate her, and mention that she believed Kiko would server the community beautifully.

After giving Junko a deep bow once she finished talking, Kiko would speak up.

”Thank you Junko. I’m eager to continue to remain by your side and assist you with whatever you may need from me. I think I will go explore a bit, I’d like to get a lay of the land.”

After exchanging goodbyes, Kiko would exit from the office and make her way back into the bustling streets. Now with a bit of money, she felt like potentially buying new gear so she began walking towards the market.
