Task: After waking up one night, you realize that your dream of an assortment of food was on your table when you went to your kitchen. Other small things have been ever so slightly off around the village, such as a little girl getting a larger stuffed animal that her parents didn't purchase nor any shop could produce. Other issues, such as the sudden appearance of creatures out of a kid's nightmare, have also shown up. Help figure out what's happening and help clean up some of the more minor pests starting to appear out of nowhere.

Task: A few days have passed since the initial shift of dreams becoming part of and entering our world. The issue lies in the children who have started having wild imaginations. There has been a public service announcement about trying to remain calm and not to dream wild dreams until a solution is found to the ongoing problem. The biggest concern is that one kid has dreamed himself into a fortress of some kind, declaring himself the "Dream King." This request is from his parents to get him out of his weird dream, and he hopes to snap back his understanding of what is happening. The request is not to be too hard on him as he is their only child and would be a strong shinobi candidate at the ripe age of 6.

There are concerns about what could be the root cause, but many believe that the weirdness of dreams gaining a degree of creation in our world is connected to this anomaly. Speculation is that it's a rift or a gate of some kind, but others indicate it is possibly an entity that someone with a wild imagination dreamed up and is now creating problems within the Land. Help sort out what is happening and help contain, seal, and do whatever is necessary to lock down what is happening.

Task: The anomaly that was investigated previously has been taken care of, but now a more significant problem has arisen. At this point, the leadership nearby has designated this a global concern as multiple reports from across the lands have indicated that not just your village has suffered the issues that have been arising. The most significant concern is a small rift that has begun to open above the Land of Hotsprings from current estimations. It is visible within all the land's skies, but it is uncertain if it's near there or not. It's far beyond the reach of shinobi arts, even with flight. Deal with the ongoing threat and see if you gain any insight into the nature of this sudden development.

Task: As more and more nightmarish creatures have taken form, many citizens have opted towards not sleeping to help avoid causing more issues. This has created a more significant problem as many who pass out result in issues spawning out of nowhere, resulting in sudden encounters of these dreamt creatures. Many have been told to be at ease as the local shinobi population has taken on more and more dangerous creatures. Help spread the word to rest and act as expected while doing so. Take care of any issues that arise, as even harmless dreams are now becoming monsters once they enter our reality. Be swift, as it seems the legend of the Land of Dreams has recently become the Land of Nightmares as it has been determined that there has been an attempt from beyond to overlay the land worldwide.

Mission Name: Into the Maw of Dreams and Nightmares

Task: With the revelation of the Land of Dreams being corrupted into the Land of Nightmares, it has been decided that shinobi would attempt to create a gateway into the Land through their dreams under supervision of others to make sure while they are attempting to enter the Land of Dreams. The rift initially assumed to have started over Hotsprings has grown to cover the Land of Rice, Frost, and parts of the Lands of Fire and Lightning. At this point, there is not much the shinobi of the world can do on this side of whatever is happening, and now it is time to take a more direct approach to combat whatever is on the offense. Be warned, as previous attempts to have shinobi enter through their dreams have resulted in monsters and creatures coming out of the aether attacking those around the sleeping individual. Be on guard as you attempt to enter the Land of Dreams and try not to cause problems. Alternatively, help solve any problems for those attempting to do so.

Watch out for sudden sleepers on the mission to ensure nothing more comes out of the rifts, or more rifts are made.

Hmm…interesting.
It was around midday when Hiroki Shimada would be thinking about this in the Archives of Raijin and Fuijin; arriving about 5 minutes earlier than what was originally intended as the time of meeting. Doing so to get a bit of a head start on the others who were also sent the same missive statement. A few days had passed since the first of a few rather surreal occurrences, sequences of events in people’s dreams making manifest within the world as they knew it. And then so rolled in the nightmares, slowly after that. Nothing major. The one which Roki currently had his Jashigan trained on was a small, two-headed snake that would slither meaninglessly and neverendingly in a circle.
Not a being of life or death…but fear itself.
The black, almost smokey wisps would tinge the air all around the creature, floating off like loose threads. This was only seen due to the Sage’s particular doujutsu, which allowed him to see the aforementioned state of emotion. It would be something to take note of. At least now, there was this definitive knowledge of what all this was in regard to. Rising from the crouched position, the Chunin would deactivate his Jashigan before anyone else would enter, lest see that he was in possession of one; also making sure to do this while his face would be towards the corner and out of sight in case anyone did manage to sneak in.
Once up, he’d get started on what he thought to be the best course of action for now. A bit more research into the subject by perusing through the many various books and tomes within the grand library.

Jun was thinking about the latest events in the village as he approached the Archives of Raijin and Fuijin for the meeting with other Kumon shinobis as they would try to understand what the hell was going on for the past few days. At first, only harmless stuff occurred, like a pizza materializing into someone who was dreaming about having a slice, or winged hamsters flying around after being dreamt about by a little girl. But after some days, the funny, sweet and delicious dreams gave room to some weird and scary... nightmares. And little by little those nightmares were getting more dangerous. Last night on Jun's neighborhood, a wild four arms gorilla caused some havoc and thrashed a few houses before being contained by the shinobi forces.
The young Shibasaki clansman was kind of used to deal with supernatural stuff, as last year the world of the living and the world of the dead almost became one, with ghostly visitors causing trouble all around the village. But this time, it was different… there were a touch of fear and madness on all the creatures and events randomly taking place throughout the village. So, it was up to the brave Kumogakure shinobis to handle this rather supernatural matter.
Jun arrived at the grand library room punctually at the scheduled time, and as he entered it he noticed that Kumogakure’s Chunin Hiroki Shimada was already there, as Jun arrived just as he stood up. The Shibasaki genin would announce his presence, as he didn’t want Hiroki to think he was sneaking on him or something “Hello there, Hiroki, nice to meet you once again…it seems we are working together on this… supernatural emergency." Jun already met with the very talented and well known Chunin before in the Winter Wonderlands and he knew tha he could be of great help on solving the mystery behind the recent events.
As Jun approached Hiroki’s position, he noticed something unusual crawling on the floor in a non-stop circular motion. As he took a better look at it, he realized It was two-headed snake, probably another of the dream creatures. “It seems that you have found an exhibit of one the dream creatures… this one seems rather harmless, unlike the gorilla last night…”. Jun activated his bloodline Doujutsum the Tengan, in an attempt to better understand the creature, but he was surprised to realize that, while it existed in the physical world, it somehow had no temperature. His mighty Tengan couldn’t detect a single thermal signature coming from the two headed creature. He deactivated his doujutsu and with his regular eyes, he was able to once again see the snake in its never ending circular movement. “I hope the mighty archives hold some clues about this, otherwise we are screwed…” he thought.

Hikari's adventure into the archives late one night was not without justification or reason. Awakening to the sound on creatures outside with a small bowl of crackers bedside, there was to much going on to lean towards a natural phenomenon in her eyes. Adjusting her thick glasses she adjusted her form to that of her human form. This was becoming standard to her as she was growing accustomed to the shift and ability of her powers. Sensing her surroundings with more ease allowed her to navigate that night without encountering harm. Once she made her way onto campus, the young Kitsune observed a familiar person wandering late at night as well though with a much more direct objective in mind. As Jun navigated his way to a designated meeting place, Hikari noted the situation and realized a team was forming to handle more of the issues that were present and occurring from the night. Without wanting to make a fuss but also seeing an opportunity, she stepped forth from behind Jun, the tall genin who still towered above her before announcing herself as well. "Hikari Kobayashi present as well. Recent participant of the genin exam pending final review. It seems this gathering of individuals is to investigate further into the mysterious ongoings of the night. I would beseech of those presently here and whomever may subsequently arrive if my presence could be made of use. I hail from the Kitsune clan and recently developed my powers further and seek to aid and join the ranks of Kumogakure more properly now."
With that said, the once timid and shy student that Hikari was that Jun had met was now replaced with a more forward individual who took a bit more of the initiative in such a setting. With the current events and affairs, Hikari assumed it would be no small problem for another shinobi, even if she was still technically in training at this time, to step up and help aid during this affair. The suddenness and shift of how the night went would lend to its dire need of a resolution or answers. As a bookworm at heart, the young Kitsune sought to find ways and avenues to re-establish herself and grow her own reputation as someone reliable and capable. Tonight was the start of her new journey as she looked towards the entrance and back to Hiroki who seemed to be presently the individual in charge here. Giving a bow to the fellow Kumon shinobi, Hikari looked at Jun and flashed a warm smile that she was sure the young boy would recognize despite the shift and change in her appearance. The information she provided would help confirm her identity to the Kumogakure Genin but to her, his reaction was more the thing she looked towards in this small exchange.
