Shin would return the man's smirk, his featureless eyes staring into the gray eyes of The Lord of Blood without a moment's hesitation.

“I need the blood of powerful, deceased shinobi in order to properly use one of my most powerful techniques… an extremely well known and infamous technique from the elder days of the Shinobi World, back to the time of the Warring Clans itself. Using a suitable human sacrifice, and the blood and organs of my target, I am able to bring them back to the land of the living as a mindless slave under my control… The Impure World Reincarnation.” The Assassin would explain, his smirk only growing wider and revealing far too many teeth… it was not a simple smirk of amusement anymore, this was an intimidating smirk that told everyone that could see it exactly what he would be doing with this technique.

Should Guren still unseal the corpse, Shin would eye it hungrily… he was unsure of who this man was, or how he had died, but he would take Guren at his word that this man was powerful. He would not tear his eyes from the body even as the Kazekage spoke, he had no need to really, he could see everything regardless.

“I accept the job. I will head out once I have gathered the blood. On that note though, I will be performing two handseals to retrieve a container for the blood.” He would say, before immediately doing the two hand seals that he had told of and retrieving a large jar that could hold up to 3 litres of liquid. It was more than he had said he needed, but Guren told him to take all he wanted, and he wasn’t about to pass that up.

He would open the jar and place it on the floor just near the edge of the table, before grabbing the corpse upon the table and pulling it a little closer to the edge above the jar. He would then quickly open an incision upon the corpse and watch as the blood drained from the corpse and into his trusty jar. Once it was filled he would pull it away and seal it, uncaring of the blood still pouring from the wound he had inflicted upon the corpse and staining the floor, his hands, and the outside of the jar. He would immediately seal the jar within his storage displacement once more, before sending one final smirk to the Kazekage and his guards.

“It was a pleasure doing business with you Lord Kazekage, I look forward to hearing more about the job.” The Ghost would say simply, wordlessly sending his physical body into The Reverse and walking forth. He would walk directly through the table, the corpse upon it, and the wall behind Guren, although he would refrain from walking through the man himself. Outside the wall was a sheer drop, revealing they had been within one of the upper floors of The Spire, but it mattered not. The instant he was outside his form would vanish from sight, appearing at the furthest reaches of Sunagakure’s anti-teleportation defense. A step or two later and he was safely out, and with a couple of handseals he would vanish and reappear dozens of kilometers away, safely at the borders of The Land of Wind.

Guren would mentally note the explanation from the assassin, and refrain from interrupting Shin's extraction process. When this was complete, the Third would nod in agreement to Shin but offer no further words. The next steps in this agreement would come in the following days, when Shin would receive a messenger vulture from Guren that detailed where the mission would be. It would be described as how Guren had learned of it: rice fields. But for now, Guren would regroup with Junko and Michio and discuss the matter. The trio agreed to keep this information confidential, and following that consensus they'd depart back to their typical posts.
