Leaving For The Rain Country

Kaito would stroll to the gates of Sunagskure, ready for the final leg of the Chunin Selections Exams to get underway. He was a bit nervous, as anyone would be, as this would be his first time leaving the village in many, many years.

He would reach the second guard post at sound 8:30 in the morning. The sun was already high in the sky and he could clearly see into the seemingly endless desert beyond. Other than him the only other person around was the guardsmen, so he would have to wait for both Naki and Karo to join him before departing.

Once the two other Genin did arrive, he would greet them both with a smile and a nod.  Should the guardsmen then allow their travel, he would lead the trio off into the distant world beyond.

It was time, Naki was nervous as he wasn't sure about going outside the village but he has to do this to proceed on with the exam. The young lad would pack a simple pack of water, food, some painting stuff because he wasn't going to miss the opportunity if it arises, and the robes of his family fr before as he grabbed his demon armor and put them on. He'd eat a decent breakfast before making his way out of his home. As per usual he has his twin demon swords on his legs and his family sword attached to his hip. He would toss his cloak on and threw his hair into a ponytail as he nods in the mirror. He would look at the picture of his family and said a quick prayer before walking over to a mirror as he looked at it before closing his left eye and reopening it to reveal the awakened ketsuryugan though from his memory it didn't look like the one that Guren has so he has to figure out how to get it like his. 

He would quickly deactivate it and stepped outside of the house turning around to look at it again before running off to the gates where he found Kaito. He would give him a quick fist bump glad to see a familiar face alongside him for this mission. He would set out alongside him and their other partner once he arrived. Naki would smile from nervousness and excitement as he started this new journey.

So this was it huh, the first time ever that he’d be stepping out of the village gates… He doesn’t even remember the last time his parents actually ever left the village after he turned like five. Everything after that he always remembered them being at home besides some nights where they’d have gone out to dinner with a note. Always back later at night with their original clothing on, sometimes it would be a bit fancy, but they weren’t the most well off individuals. Only given slightly better treatment than normal given their status as an endangered clan for them.

Reaching the guard post soon with only the bare essentials on him, he knew that the vast expansive desert would certainly be a problem for just about anyone with half a brain. Maybe that’s why he felt so scared to eventually leave the village. Yet despite that in the carry-on bag he had, he brought with him water, knowing that the vast expanses of the desert would be harsh on them. Water was something of the utmost importance. Perhaps it would be best for them to have this just in case for the travel ahead.

Arriving with the other two seemingly waiting for him, he gave a small smile while walking towards them. Ready for the adventure towards the exact opposite of the Sand village in terms of water. That being the Rain village, which honestly, it kinda felt funny that they’d be going there of all places. Giving the two boys a small wave as he arrived and greeted them, knowing that the three would have to carry on and make sure they were able to complete the mission and come back.
