Flower Foraging (Mission)

Another day at work was in the process for Shiroyasha. Today he had begun the day like normal, lighting fires inside kami shrines of the Konoha Forest nearby his home. By six thirty am Shiro was finished and headed over to the Konoha Mission Repository. Feeling good the young Genin hoped to get an exciting mission, but fate had something much less thrilling in store for him. 

As Shiroyasha stood at the desk a short woman approached him. She introduced herself as a maid of the Yamanaka Clan and gave Shiro a detail of his mission today. The e ranked gathering mission would take place in Konoha gates, and consisted of picking which flowers the Yamanaka required. Easy enough that he had no complaints, and Shiro was ecstatic to get out into the forest for work. 

The Yamanaka maid told Shiro she needed some lime green orchids that grew atop the tree canopy. These large flowers were absolutely necessary for her arrangement and she needed them in just four hours. Shiro would have to hurry to complete this mission, and the eager Senju made his way toward where the Yamanaka maid had marked on his map. The Journey was almost an hour but he ran and made it in thirty minutes. 

Shiroyasha was tasked with quite a challenge since he would have to climb the trees to spot any orchids. Climbing up the trees using his chakra like an adhesive Shiro zoomed up high. There were no orchids to be found, but the hopeful genin dashed forward with his eyes peeled. If he expected to find any it was important to travel as much as he could. Shiroyasga leapt from treetop to treetop searching for one rare lime green orchid flower. Holding his kunai in his hand, ready to cut; the flower picking mission had truly begun.

After about a half hour Shiroyasha was begining to get discouraged. There were no orchids of any kind to be found, and he had traveled to exactly where the Yamanaka Clan woman pointed out to him. To his surprise he found two suddenly. Just when his optimism was fading, he was blessed by good fortune. Shiro cut the two and held them in his mouth. He needed eight more, and wondered which way he would go from here. Figuring he had no where to go but up from here, Shiro decided to try his hand at the top most canopy. With a firm thud he leapt from the tree branch he was standing on, and positioned himself even higher in the sky.

The wind up top was much breezier, and Shiro was struck in the face by fresh air. It was hard to believe the forest could suffocate one so, with all the itchy pollen and roaming wildlife stinking up the joint. But up top, he felt free. Shiro was nearly thirty five meters above the ground now, and he could see far. With a leap he dashed to the next treetop, seeking out the bright lime green flowers poking atop to catch the fun breeze.

Quickly making his way to an orchid, Shiroyasha was pleased to find the remainder of what he needed for the Yamanaka woman. He clipped each stem with his kunai, and quickly ran to make his deadline. The woman was pleased with his work, and the mission was completed. Shiroyasha recieved his pay at the desk he once stood.
