“oh that’s a hefty guy.” Shin said as he fought against the catch this time on his line though after a short while it seemed that Shin was going to be victorious as he yanked the watery fish out of the ocean. It was a large fish whose scales seemed to remind him of a painting of waves, this was the first time he had seen such a fish but he was quite happy with it as he weighed it the large creature came out to 13 lbs and 6 oz. Not to bad compared to his first mini fish he had caught at the last spot it seemed that switching where he was, happened to be the best idea.
 
Now he was faced with the choice of just taking this fish in and seeing how it ranked against the others or simply trying some more, the night was getting on and the air was getting cold so the tournament would be ending soon. Figuring he would give it a couple more tries to see what he could get he placed the large fish in another container to save for later when he turned it in to the officials so he could get ranked.
Turning back around and grabbing his rod that he had placed on the ground to handle the fish Shin gathered some more bait and put it back on his hook making sure it was on there nice and strong and launched his hook back into the water to see if he could get anything else.

Regrettably it would seem that Shin’s luck in this spot might have run out as he reeled in his hook once more to see if the bait had been taken without his notice and just like before it was gone his hook bare as the day he bought it from the store. Wasn’t even any guts from the bait left, “These guys must have been hungry and nimble.” Shin muttered to himself as he packed up all his stuff and made way to another spot to see if that would help him snag another fish like last time.
 
“Honestly I’m going to need to catch at least two or three more fish if I want to come out positive for this.” Shin’s competitive nature coming out making excuses as to why he should continue fishing. It always ended up like this for Shin he would start doing something out of boredom or interest then it would suddenly be turned into some major competition. Luckily this time he was literally in a competition against other so no one would think it was weird for him to be trying his best to catch more fish.
 
“Alright this place looks good.” Shin mentioned as he laid his stuff down and begun to get all set up for his next cast. The water was getting darker from the lack of light so he hoped that the fish that had been hiding throughout the day would show themselves now and land on his hook. So he sent out his line and crossed his fingers.
