Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Thu Nov 19, 2020 4:14 pm
Sailing across the sea, The Mizukage was enjoying himself on this luxury cruise. It was nice and quiet, just the way he likes with all the comforts of the village just for him and his mysterious, new companion, Aokidanza. Pouring himself a drink, he began to take a sip of it as he enjoyed a nice, cool ocean breeze. Laying in a lawn chair, he made mental preparations in his head while recounting the tools and equipment he decided to bring along. Currently, the inner layer of the Mizukage's attire consisted of wearing his yellow shirt and navy blue pants. His outer layer was clad with a dark red and black type of karuta that high ranking samurai would wear in the land of Iron, although he was on the heavy side. Packing the tools might need such as kunai, shuriken and the like. Fastening his ninja tool pouches behind his back, filled with the weaponry he may or may not use. He wasn't the type of person to wield a weapon but he figured he'd bring his Katana even though he never formally practiced with it. Concealing his everything beneath, was his Mizukage robes and a thin decorated veil to disguise the hat of his armor into a Mizukge hat, with his other companion Ram, traveling at his side.

As he travelled across the ocean, another shinobi under him had come and delivered news that a Kage Summit happened to be called in the land of the wind. Whether it was a coincidence or somebody had anticipated his arrival, he was obligated to attend it anyhow. Giving an audible sigh, The Mizukage shook his drink a little bit as he was actually quite nervous. He's never met the other Kage before. Not even the Hokage who was technically the lord of his vassal country. Well, there was a first time for everything. The Mizukage told the shinobi to inform his bodyguard, Keita to travel to Suna at once but the shinobi had enough forethought to inform him before giving the Kage the news. With that, the Mizukage had begun to relax once more until he arrived at the waters of the wind country. It didn't take long until the ship pulled into the harbor where the Mizukge departed from his ship. Getting in a carriage, he told the driver to wait until both Keita and Aokidanza got in, when both of them arrived and got in, he'd make the driver travel through Suna's gates, if they let him have easy entrance.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Thu Nov 19, 2020 5:23 pm
Keita was busy at the moment, as he was at the deck of the ship, and he had set up a small table and chair, and was sipping a small cup of tea in his left hand, and a small calligraphy brush in his right hand. He had been slowly painting all of these calligraphy ideas that he had while heading to the Wind Country, as he wanted to get the Kages of the other nations a gift that suited them. His only real talent that he had for a gift for another person was his calligraphy, which he was very good at, others might call him a master at it. Keita had been working on them the entire time, and soon they were going to reach their destination, and head to the Sand Village after they had gotten off of the boat, but Keita was still figuring out how to paint this particular piece. The last one was the one that he was most enthusiastic about, as he was heading to the country in question, which was the kanji for Sand. He had been debating this for an hour or so, trying to put together the proper strokes in his mind, as calligraphy of this style, which was Kanji painting, was done relatively swiftly if you thought about how long it took other styles of painting to complete their works, but the intent and the meaning behind each stroke would be discerned by another master, and so it was very important to visualize what you were going to put on the page, and what feeling the painting would invoke. Soon however, Keita finally thought about exactly what he was going to do for the Sand kanji, and started painting without hesitation. He had made up his mind, and without much of a pause between strokes, he quickly painted what he had thought of.

After the painting was finished, Keita put it in a special frame that he had brought, before tucking it away in his cloak, and noticing that the boat had stopped, and that his kage had already gotten off of the ship. Keita hurriedly put his other items away, before rushing to his Kage's side, albeit a little bit behind him as to respect his status, and followed him to the destination. The carriage that they had gotten is was rather nice, it seemed like Suna was a fairly decent place, and Keita was pretty excited to see how they were then traveling through a vast desert. He even wondered if he should re-paint his kanji for sand, now that he had gotten a more thorough understanding of just what a large desert was actually like by traveling through one towards the village. Keita noticed that the kage took a couple of drinks of a mystery liquid, and Keita wondered if it was alcohol to calm nerves. Keita was not sure why, but he was definitely not as nervous as he thought he would be, he was definitely more excited and hopeful than anything. As they got to the front gates, Keita had hoped that they would let them in without much of a fuss, but he was also sure that the guards might have their own strict inspections, so he was also ready to be searched. He had his special golden robe armor on at the moment, which seemed to greatly help with dispersing the heat from the dry desert air, but it was still a bit hot on his face, so he had his face mask on from the top of his armor to counteract it.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

An audible yawn escaped from his mouth as he leaned back in his folded chair slowly and rubbed his eyes. Today was rather interesting in the sense that many people from different nations were arriving in the village for the Kage Summit. Ibari wasn't the type to be all razzle dazzled by something like this and given he'd hear about it from Kenshin probably he didn't really care. At this time of the day Han, Suna's residsnt old man would be manning the gates yet he took over to give Han some reprieve.

From the shack he watched intently on the comings and goings of caravans and people, doing what a gate guard should. To keep a better eye on things that were further away from the cleft, he activated the Minds eye of Kagura and thats when he caught wind of two particularly potent signatures. Standing up from the chair he moved towards the entrance of the cleft where he would wait for the carriage to come to a haul.

He gave a small nod to the carriage driver before speaking," Hello and welcome to Sunagakure. I would like to request that you step out of the carriage and present your identification and reason for coming to the village please so we can keep this moving," He wasn't going to make this take long and he honestly just wanted to sit back down.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Fri Nov 20, 2020 4:47 pm
While everyone else remained on topside of the ship the same could not be said for the Demon. Preferring to stay to himself he would be found in the deepest part of the ship, which was also the darkest. There he spent most of his time. The Mizukage did not have much to say to him, thus he found little sense in tarrying in his company. The Demon found a way to seize a spare bottle of scotch for himself. Occasionally taking a drink from it as he sat in his space in wait. His sable attire blend in with the obscurity of the room.

From what he could tell the ship was coming to a gradual stop. Taking one last gulp from the fine glass that housed his alcohol he would stand to his feet. It did not take the towering man to make his way through the lower levels of the ship to emerge within sight of the others - Kizmaru and Keita. Those golden eyes would find them and out to the mass body of water the floated upon. He stood at six feet plus. His black hair swayed in then wind's current as did his black coat. The hilt of his katana reached from his side as he followed behind the others to the carriage. There he would sit next the gloriously dressed Keita. "So this is the land of wind? It's vast deserts leaves me to wonder where they end." The party was carried to the gates of the village.

Upon arriving, if one was to sense them it would go without saying that this demon's chakra would not go unnoticed. As they pulled up to the gates the demon would noticed a suna ninja as they came to a haul. After Keita left the obstruct the Demon would as well giving room for tge Mizukage to grace the Sand with his presence. Aokidanza would stand further to the left within plain eyesight of all three of the shinobi. His golden eyes would fall on the shinobi guarding the gates. Don in black dress attire he would give no particular expression. This visit was not for himself after all. He was merely tagging along.

"An Identification card...? Oh my, I'm afraid that I am without one, Lord Mizukage..." Those arms of his outstretched and his fingers spread within his black gloves. There he stood in a black dress shirt with obsidian buttons and a silk black tie. A black vest with black dress slacks and shinobi boots. Over it was his black coat with crimson silk interior lining. On his back lower half was his weapon pouch with its entailing. His katana at his side. Those demon eyes of his would slowly glance over to the Mizukage and his man and beast.

In truth, the man was so out of touch with a village he did not know that they requested such things. His arms coming to a fold as his right hand cups his chin. 'I wonder if all villages are like this one... what is the penalty for not having one, I wonder. Are you presented with one, or are you offered one at a price?" The man would manifest a malicious smirk as he licked his lips. His attention was fixed on the gate keeper, he did not present an air of enthusiasm or hostility towards this party. With ears open he expected to hear the voice of the Mizukage reach them, or his companion.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Sun Nov 22, 2020 2:51 am
As the carriage pulled up towards the gates of suna, it halted as there was  gerd stationed in a nearby shack that, currently on duty. He should have known better than to assume another village would have let him in with no resistance. As the guard had asked, he stepped out of his vehicle to comply with his request. As he did so, his new companion Aokidanza mentioned he didn’t have an identification or credential of sorts to present. This little oversight made the Mizukage wonder if taking him along was a good idea as he was a missing shinobi. Well, the worse case scenario was he’d just tell the guard he was accompanying him for this trip and was a guest of his. Reaching into his Kge robes, the mizukage began to fish for his credentials in order to provide to the guard. After locating them, he handed them over to him as he began to state his business. “Here are my credentials. I’m here on business with the other Kage that are supposed to be meeting here as well as some personal business. If that is all, I’d like to get moving. These two are with me. One is my bodyguard which will provide you with his credentials shortly and the other is a guest of mine who, as he claimed, doesn’t have identification on his person at the moment,” the Mizukage had stated flatly.

Hoping the gate guard would be lenient, the Mizukage waited somewhat patiently for Keitaa to provide his identification as well. He hoped this would be resolved quickly as he'd like to get in as soon as possible for a multitude of reasons.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Sun Nov 22, 2020 5:06 pm
Keita was still having a wonderful time basking in the golden glow of the sands that swept everywhere around when they had arrived at the gate. Keita was still keeping an eye on his surroundings, but it was difficult for him to tell what was directly in front of the carriage that they were on simply due to the limited vision one would have inside of it, so he was abruptly taken aback when the journey, which he found short as there was beautiful landscapes to admire and ponder about, abruptly ended. The large gates of Sunagakure were now in his view as he popped his head out of the carriage after Kizmaru had gotten out. Keita stepped down as well, politely waiting until the other two that he was with had finished speaking before swiftly taking out his identification card and pulling up his mask so that the guard could confirm he was who he said he was. Keita was still alert, however, and was ready to defend himself, as he would have to get fairly close to the guard to actually hand him the identification card, and as a guard for the Mizukage, he had to make sure that all was good, so he stared at the guard intently. Keita was still polite and cordial, however, and handed the identification card over without much of a fuss. "Here you are sir, hopefully this will be quick." Keita added on, as he was curious to go explore around the interior of the village and experience all of the new sights, smells, and hopefully the cuisine of this new village that had an entirely different ecology than Kirigakure.

After handing over his card, Keita then glanced at the fairly handsome but brooding looking young man that had accompanied them. Keita was perfectly fine with this man going with them considering his Kage had recommended the young man himself, but it was very strange that he did not have an identification card on him, as even if he was some sort of criminal or missing ninja, he should have foreseen this and gotten a fake identification card, right? This made Keita slightly doubt who this man actually was, but he should be fine considering Keita trusted his kage, and so he put no further effort into scrutinizing the man, instead glancing back to the guard at the gates to see what sort of situation would arise with the fact that Aokidanza had no card on him. Keita did not really want to fight, but he would if he had to, and he was definitely ready for it.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Oh boy.

Ibari looked at the trio with mild curiosity as he sighed internally before taking two of the identification cards that were given to him, his eyes still on the third who hadn't a card to his name. Sure missing ninja were always welcomed him, but given the certain situation going on within the village Ibari might have had to divert from the normal protocol. Glancing once from the ID's to the one's that had given them to him, he would walk over to the shack and grab two visitation passes and come back," Everyone is in a rush these days it would seem. Welcome to Sunagakure, the Summit is taking place in the spire. Biggest building in the village can't miss it. Please return these badges to the shack upon the finishing of your business, " he stated rather bluntly as he handed both the passes and the ids back.

His eyes then laid on the final person, the one without a identification card to show," Unfortunately you are going to have to remain here and fill out additional paperwork. Normally you'd be allowed in but due to the current summit we need to make sure all is well before letting just anyone in. Hopefully you understand and won't make much of a fuss about this. I'll have your fledgling sent to you once he finishes his paperwork, if there is nothing else you two require you may be on your way," with that he'd let the Mizukage and his guard in while taking the other male to.the shack to fill out his paperwork.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Sun Nov 22, 2020 10:02 pm
There he stood, golden irises within black scleras observed the situation to every point. From the miniscule adjustment from the Mizukage's frame upon learning of Aokidanza's lack of information on his person to the subtle wave of skeptical glance from Keita. This was to be expected by the Senju. Though he did not mind those expressions as they were brought upon himself. From his understanding, the one with the mask, Keita gave off an air of complete account and faith to Kizmaru. Gauging that something as strong as that did not come without earning it. Also noting that his body language gave no opening - 'This one is thorough... I commend him for being wise enough to hold his guard within the presence of the wind...and myself. In this world, there are very few people who actually trust each other. When it comes to protecting what is truly precious to you, you truly become... as strong and alert as you need to be.' His thoughts would carry.

Those fiend eyes would gravitate towards the Mizukage. At this time he was being given his pass to enter and proceed with his business in the village. Should the kage glance over to the man, he and his guard upon hearing the words of the gate keeper, they would be met with a smile from the towering man. "Now, now... You two go one ahead, I'd like to spend my time learning more about this village. I have a certain level of admiration for the kage... however, admiration is the furthest thing from understanding." Turning to face the keeper, be would follow behind him as his two companions separated from him.

As he motioned for the shack where he would fill out paperwork, his eyes gave them one last glance. "Oh yes, one last things, Lord Mizukage... I have an understanding that these sorts of congregation never seem to end as well as most would like. Often leveraging crippling compromises that do more harm than good... for the one being presented with it at any rate. You do not strike me as a foolish leader, nor do you give me a reason to question your conviction or resolve. After all, you are the Mizukage." That deep voice of his would travel to reach all that would hear. Should it leave room to analyze or merely be taken for as it was. Perhaps even viewed as nonsense. It was hard to tell. The demon would simply raise his right hand as he waved them off. His attention now focused on the gatekeeper and the paperwork.

It was fairly elementary, name which he wrote - Senju Aokidanza. Age, he replied twenty-four. Height and weight - one hundred-eighty-six centimeters, seventy-four kilograms. It asked of his residing village - he wrote not applicable. The rest was immensely dull and lacked any hinting of growing in interest.

Place the paper work down before the keeper he would look him in the eyes. Those demon orbs of his would stare powerfully. "There... I believe I have completed your package. Is there anything else that you require of me?" He would await the man's response. It would then occur to him that he did not know this man's name... "Silly me, I'm afraid I've never given you my name. Senju Aokidanza, what is yours? I hope that my asking is alright." He would add as he gave a lightly chuckle.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Wed Nov 25, 2020 6:18 pm
It seems the guard was satisfied with what was given by both himself and Keita as what passed for identification around these parts, however even for the Mizukage, Aokidanza was not granted a pardon. It was a smart thing though though Kirigakure was a bit more lax in their security but, they had suffered some attacks previously so that might be where the flaw was in his leadership. Maybe he'd take a page or two out of the Kazekage's book, whenever he meets them. "Aokizanda, I've got some business to attend to, once you're done here you can find me at a certain location where the transaction will take place, I'm off now," the Mizukage had stated as he got back into his carriage. As soon as he made sure Keita had re-enter the vehicle, he made the driver go through the gates to enter the capital of the wind country.

Arriving at the Gates of Suna Empty Re: Arriving at the Gates of Suna

Wed Nov 25, 2020 10:06 pm
Keita was surprised at how fast and efficient the guard of the village was, and suspected that he was not a run of the mill genin guard that was everywhere in the hidden villages, and instead was someone special that the village had put here to make sure that everything went through fine for today. Keita simply gave the person a friendly nod, before retrieving the document back to his hand as he saw the person had finished checking it, and Keita then gracefully headed back towards the carriage. He waited a couple of seconds for his kage to address the man that had come with them, saying that he would meet the man somewhere where some sort of transaction would take place, which made Keita's brows slightly raise from under his now placed back face mask that came from his armor. Keita wondered what his kage would buy exactly in the village, but knowing him, it might be some sort of body part for more advantages through some sort of kekkei genkai transplant. He knew that his friend and kage had something akin to a kekkai genkai transplant that allowed him to use boil release, so he was thinking that this would be another one of those transactions. Still, Keita did not bother with this, as Kiri was something far and away from a nice and peaceful village, and any boost in strength would be welcome, and so Keita quietly entered the carriage after waving politely to the guard and nodding at Aokidanza.
