Nagare is on a route to Fang... but on his travel there he stops along this village that is small and looks poor..Nagare thinks this is a good stopping point for the night.. nagare decides hes going to go ahead and try to find a room inside the village..Nagare approches the entrace of the village and there are 2 guards standing at the entrance..the guards stop nagare tell nagare that he has to hand over all his weapons..they said they will need to body search nagare...Nagare is very upset about this and his face shows it...Nagare agrees to handing his weapons over and a body search..After the body search the guards cleared nagare to come inside the village so thats what nagare does..nagare starts walking down the street and he sees a inn and starts to walk towards it..Nagare walks through the entrance of the inn and see a old lady standing there behind the counter..nagare asks to buy a room and some food and water.. the old lady says "that will be 30 Ryo" Nagare pays the old woman and sits down at a table in the back..Nagare eats and drinks and relaxs as hes been walking for hours trying to get to fang..hes excited to get there and look for his old master..Nagare finishs eating and drinking and heads up to his room .. nagare enters the room and its not to bad looking
Nagare sits down and starts to read a book about strategies and Combat..after reading for a hour or 2 nagare decide to go take a walk outside of the inn..Nagare gets outside and hears this man yelling.. nagare thinks  its coming from behind the inn..Nagare goes to look for this man and its in a alley way.. this man is there with 3 other people and hes getting attack by them.. Nagare is thinking about what he should do if anything..Nagare has made up his mind.
Nagare decides to join the three men in attacking the singular helpless soul that has had the bad luck of running into to them this night. Nagare walks over and tells the men to stand back while he does his work quickly eliminating the old man leaving the other three dumbfounded about what just happened. After quickly searching the man’s body for valuables he sets his eyes to the others which a sinister look. At first, they don’t know what to think but then soon come to the realization that instead of being predator tonight, they would become the prey. Nagare stands there silently observing the three men looking to see who will make the first move. One man foolish enough slowly walks up and prepares to fight, the man being over confidant was easily dispatched by Nagare without landing a single strike. The other 2 seeing this unfold go into a rage and charge Nagare. Nagare knows that fighting a two vs one fight is not favorable for him so he decides to back up and look for an opening to incapacitate one of the assailants. He finds his chance when one of the men swings wildly in rage leaving his neck exposed. With one simple strike Nagare stuns the man making him fall to the floor dazed. Nagare takes this chance to quickly finish off the last assailant. Coming back to the second man that he dazed, he states “You better be worth my time in Ryo” then executes the man on the spot. He searches the 3 lifeless corpes for anything that is valuable then decides to leave the dark secluded alley. Nagare is walking back towards the entrance of the inn..Nagare walks back inside the the inn and walks back to his room..When he is stopped by some kids they are both yelling at him so much nagare cant understand what they are saying..Nagare slaps them both and says now talk one at a time what do you two want....the two kids beg nagare to come save there friend that fell down a well and that they will pay everything they have..Nagare thinks it over and rejects the offer he has done enough today walked for hours..nagare just wants to rest..the kids keep pestering him to help and begging and groveling.. Nagare shuts his room door into their face..
The kids sit outside the room for hours crying and asking for help..Nagare is wondering why the kids didnt go to anyone else.. But anyways Nagare decides to go ahead and help the kids so they shut up...The kids take Nagare down the street to this abandoned house.. the kids take nagare to the well behind the house and they all hear screaming coming from it...Nagare cant help but laugh..Nagare walks up to the well and looks down it..Nagare sees a little kid down the well crying..Nagare feels nothing about this hole thing....Nagare is thinking about maybe leaving the kid in the well it would be a good lesson for him.. Nagare is unsure about this though he is just a kid would that be to harsh...Nagare asks the kids for the payment up front.. the kids go ahead and pay nagare.. Nagare smiles and laughs as he counts it...
Nagare says "It's only 8 ryo" you kids dont have anything more then that? Nagare laughs and then turns around and starts to walk away.. the kids question where nagare is going..The kids start to cry and beg for nagare to come back and save their friend.. Nagare just ignores the kids and keep walking.. the kids grab onto the feet of nagare trying to stop him...
nagare just keeps walking they have no effect on nagare at all..the kids finally let go of nagare and start to just sit on the ground.. nagare keep on walking and looks back... and sees the kids sitting there not doing anything...Nagare knows if he doesnt do anything the kid in the well will probably die..Nagare feels no regret or anything.. nagare is trying to teach the kids a important lesson..you have to be able to do stuff your self becuase people wont just help you do it or do it for you...Nagare starts to head to the village exit. (exit)
