Cleaning up Hokage Rock

Tadashi had received a letter in the mail early in the morning, detailing that he was going to do ANOTHER MISSION. Goddammit, he had JUST arrived in Konoha yesterday and had to deal with an intruder in the Hokage Building on that same day. Hey, at least it wasn't that bad, he only had to clean Hokage Rock which can only really take about 20-40 minutes if the ginger was going at full speed. Maybe he could also meet some new faces, ironic since he is going to clean some.  Putting on a black t-shirt with the red Konoha emblem smack dab in the middle accompanied by black pants and white sneakers, Tadashi ventured out to Hokage Rock. 

It was only when the Ace had arrived at Hokage Rock that he realized something. He was late, not terribly, but somewhat noticeable since it was 1 minute. He hoped he wouldn't meet some stuck up perfectionists who don't tolerate tardiness.

The young teen would walk more towards the Hokage Rock on the same level, being able to make up two people. One being Minato and the other being someone who he didn't know. Since they were conversing with each other, he would assume that they were his teammates in the mission. He would wait patiently until they were done talking. Walking up towards the older teen, the ginger would greet him warmly, "Hey Minato! What's up, man?"

Turning his head upwards to meet someone who seemed about the same age as him, he would wave towards the snow-haired boy. "Hey, haven't seen you around. My name's Tadashi. Tadashi Namikaze. Hope we can work well together!"

Minato hadn’t wait to long before someone arrived. The young Uchiha could hear a voice coming from above calling out for him. When he looked where it was coming from he could notice a boy with white hair standing on one of the rooftops close to the Hokage Rock. Minato immediately thought that the boy must be standing out everywhere he goes due to his striking hair color. From the looks of it he hadn’t seen this person before but then again, it’s almost impossible to know everyone from the village. “That’s right, I take it you are as well?” he answered the boy’s question.
 
Speaking of striking hair they were joined by a familiar face. Minato remembered the ginger from when they met not long after he had graduated from the Academy and became a Genin. “Tadashi, nice to see you again. It’s been a while since I last saw you. How have you been?” The young Namikaze then directed his attention towards the white haired boy who was still standing on one of the rooftops. After a brief introduction Tadashi had the same reaction as Minato. From what it seemed it looked like the ginger hadn’t seen the snow haired boy around before either. “As you have probably heard my name is Minato, what’s yours?”

Yoi saw a third boy walk onto the scene. This must be the group they were in. Yoi jumped down, landing a few meters away from the first boy, as they were all here now.

"Yep, I'm here to clean the faces up there as well."


As the other boy introduced himself as Tadashi, Yoi said, "Hi Tadashi, how ya doing?"


After hearing the exchange between the other two boys, Tadashi and Minato, it was clear that the two knew each other already. Yoi hoped this wouldn't make it hard for Yoi to join in on the conversation.

"My name's Yoi, and it's nice to meet you Minato."


Yoi knew introductions could be hard, so he stayed casual throughout the conversation.

Luckily, It appeared as though Tadashi's teammates weren't that concerned with his tardiness. Minato seemed well as it had been a while since he's spoken with his old friend. "Yeah, it has. I've been doing fairly well. I'm still tired from the invasion though." He responded nonchalantly, suppressing an involuntary yawn at the thought of the tiring crusade. Yoi would reply to the ginger with a casual gesture, indicating that he has a laid back personality, a perfect mix for Tadashi. 

"Overworked and underpaid." He jested with a smirk. The Ace would somewhat eavesdrop on Yuki's and Uchiha's conversation, discovering the snow haired boy's name. "Yoi eh? That's an odd name. Is he from another village or something?" He mused in his thoughts. Nevertheless, this was a mission, and they had to work soon. As Minato and Yoi finished talking, Tadashi would clear his throat. 

"I think we should start doing the mission. After all, we can talk while doing it since we're only cleaning the Hokage Rock faces." He suggested, not wanting to seem like he's imposing his ideas on the two. If the two said yes, he had came prepared with some tools. Drawing from Storage Displacement, he would teleport a large, metal bucket of water with three wet rags on the ground. Grabbing one of the rags, he would run forward towards the Hokage Rock. The Ace would run up the wall using the Surface Walking Technique, stopping at the head of the First Hokage before the Destruction. Tadashi would begin cleaning the face on his own.

The snow haired boy jumped down from the rooftop he was standing on earlier as he then joined Minato and Tadashi. It seemed that he was the third member of the team assigned to the mission since he confirmed he was there to clean the Hokage Rock as well. He finally introduced himself as Yoi, nothing more and nothing less. Maybe he was nervous or felt a little bit out of place since Yoi could be seen as the new kid since Minato and Tadashi already knew each other. Nevertheless the young Uchiha would treat the snow haired boy as he would any other person. "It's nice to meet you Yoi, looking forward to working together with you."

Minato would then listen to Tadashi how he mentioned the invasion of Sunagakure and the effect it had on him. Since the ginger returned unharmed and not in pieces maybe the others had returned safely as well, but that was a story for another day since it was about time they started their mission. "Well I'm glad you were able to come back in one piece Tadashi." Minato said before he followed the ginger's example of climbing the Hokage Rock. The young Uchiha was aware that there was equipment they could use to climb the rocks but on the other hand it would be a great way of training his chakra control if he decided to get on the rocks without some help of any tools. He would activate some of his chakra into the sole of his feet and started climbing the Hokage Rock. As Tadashi had started cleaning the face of the First Hokage, Minato decided to start with the Second. Expecting Yoi to follow them soon the three of them could officially start their mission of cleaning Hokage Rock.

Tadashi had finally finished up with the face of the First Hokage, making sure of wash and dry all corners and crevices. The heat was rising drastically, so it would call for the teen to take off his jacket before tying it tightly around his waist, revealing his shirt and growing muscles from hours of dedicated training. He would form the Ram seal with one hand as he would momentarily appear in a form of rapidly moving black lines for those who looked at him. Dashing upwards, then horizontally right, he would appear in full form on top of the 4th Hokage's visage. Tadashi had enough water-soaked up to finish 3 more faces, so he hoped Minato and Yoi would wash the 5th and 6th Hokage faces soon, then the ginger would clean the 7th then 10th Hokage's faces. As he finished the 4th Hokage's face, he would try to converse with Yoi. He needed to make more friends and allies in Konoha; he had been so caught up with his training that he neglected his social life for a while. 

"So, Yoi, where did you come from?" He asked calmly.

Minato could already feel the burn in his muscles as he was getting a nice workout in while cleaning the Second Hokage's face. Of course that wasn't the true objective of the mission but it was a nice bonus since he was able to train his already well developed physique. Being so close to the former leaders of Konohagakure no Sato there was a certain pride the young Uchiha was feeling. But even though Minato wanted to reminisce about the former Hokage some more he knew there wasn't much time to do so. After all they were here for a mission, one they would complete as fast as possible.

So he kept going, using one of the rags to clean the dirt off the Second Hokage's face, leaving not a single filthy spot. If he wanted to be done quickly he could have used the Shadow Clone technique, but he didn't want to take away the hard work. And out of respect for the former leaders there is no way he would accept any help other than his own. When looking to the side of him he could see how Tadashi made his way to the Fourth Hokage, meaning he was done cleaning the face of the First. Once he was done with his rock Minato decided to follow his example as he made his way on to the Fifth Hokage.
